 + 2 moreI can't say enough good things about Ron and his work. After meeting him the first day, my wife and I felt comfortable having him in our home. We have several dogs, who gave their seal of approval too. I was amazed at what he was able to accomplish in a short time. He was easy to relate to, and easy to work with. Although he had several jobs scheduled when I first called him, he was able to schedule us within a few days. I was very pleased with his scheduling--and he arrived at our home exactly when he said he would. I would definitely hire Ron again. In fact, I plan to.
Description of Work: Ron did a variety of repairs and upgrades in our house. We have an old farmhouse that needs attention and asked him to: rescreen several windows, install some insulation, paint several areas indoors and outdoors, reglaze a shower stall, install a bathroom fan, repair some woodwork, install several plumbing fixtures and light fixtures, repair and repaint some drywall (walls and ceilings)... and several other tasks. Everything he did looks great! When repairing wood that some dogs had scratched and chewed, he not only perfectly filled in the areas but actually matched the wood grain. His painting is meticulous, as is all his work. I even asked him to use some carpet staining materials to try to fix areas where some bleach had made the carpet color very spotty. After he was done, I could no longer tell where the problem had been.

 + -1 moreI want to say that he worked awfully slow and charged $ 40 an hour and I said fine. My plumber he is a residential person and he has just charged hundred dollars an hour.
Description of Work: I had that guy Ron Heeg Handyman and I had him do my gutters, a few odd jobs and he also did something for my window. I have a full window and it was kind of deteriorated, so I asked him to put a strip around it because I had birds and I had beautiful windows. So he did that job and he did my gutters and it is not a company it's a Handyman.

 + 0 moreI lost my husband about two years ago, and he did most of the little repairs around the house. So I called Ron Heeg, Handyman and he did some of the work. Later, he had an appointment to come. But then he called and said he wouldn't be able to make it because he had to go out of town. Those excuses don't really mesh with me because it sounded awful fishy. When he did call back to say he's back in town, I told him I didn't need him anymore. I'm a perfectionist and it has to be done right or I'm not happy with it. The work that he did was fine. I had no objection to the work. It was the fact that making the appointment and then calling me to cancel it. He didn't know me that well. I didn't know if he was just making that up. He didn't even tell me he had a death in the family or anything like that.
Description of Work: He put an electrical plug out in the yard that needed to be put in and a little more work than that. I don't have steady work, but different things have happened around the house.

 + 4 moreI spent around $2000 for all the work he did in a year. He is like an angel. I ended in a house where 5 bathrooms had to be re-plumbed, 4 layers of wallpaper everywhere, and painted for 20 years, and he did everything.
Description of Work: I hired Ron Heeg Handyman to do handyman work, plumbing, painting exterior as well as interior of the house, furniture amendment, and electrical work in January.

 + 3 moreHe's a really good handyman. He is amazing. We use him probably once a month because we have two houses. We've given his name out to a lot of people. He is very talented and very artistic. He is a very honorable person who tries to do good hard work and please his customers. He is really good. We will absolutely continue to use him.
Description of Work: We used Ron Heeg to trim our trees so they wouldn't hit our roof. He swept and cleaned off our decks. He also repaired some chairs.
