He came in. He responded quickly and did what he was supposed to do. It went fine. I think I got bids from 2 or 3 places and also, I think I had dealt with Rick's before.

Initial communication was a bit hard but partly due my bad cell service at work and him probably at a job site when I called. I initially called for a quote in early May but due to having to get in touch with neighbors plus each of us having to agree for who pays for what we didn't have the work done until end of July. The quote he provided in May he still honored which I was happy about since multiple parties were involved. He came out about 4 business days after I called to give the final go ahead. The crew worked for most of the day and put up with me watching curiously (dwelling over how much work and how many hospital trips I averted by hiring it out) and also one not too happy neighbor's documentation of their work (not one that was involved in paying for service). During the clean up they showed me that the big bushes growing from the not so happy neighbor's yard were matured poison ivy growing all down and up a 30 foot section of privacy fence. As a last minute add on they agreed to trim and pull out some bushes along the property line containing the poison ivy (very thankful for this). Couple of things I did to solve for potential issues noted by other members: Leave clear written instructions (drawing with explanations) or mark the trees if you are not going to be around for the quote. Do the same if you will not be around when the work starts. Expect that if you are removing large trees that there will be some damage to your yard. Tree sections weighing hundreds of pounds and large equipment will make at least some impact. While the damage they did to my yard may be negligible if not an improvement...If you expect no damage make sure you have it in writing and the quote should be higher. One thing I would also suggest before calling for tree removal on the property line: Call your city for their requirements and relevant laws. The tree that was trimmed straight up was an Ash Tree with EAB in it and branches or the entire tree may have been declared dead. Because they were dead the city may have forced the other neighbor (the not happy one) to trim or remove the entire tree (even though it is not considered on their property).

Right on time. Good Teamwork. Job complete in about 3 hours. Cleanup good. Accepted credit card for payment.

They did what they were supposed to do. There was a storm and the limb fell on the roof. I called for bids and got them. They showed up on time and did the work. Their work was fine.

A large pine tree died behind one of the units my brothers and I own. I called two companies for estimates. They were higher than we expected. One of my brothers said he would cut it down for us. His wife suggested Rick's. So, I called for an estimated on Wednesday. Rick came that day to give us the free estimate. It was significantly less than the other two estimates. We agreed on the price. Rick came the next day at the agreed time with a 6 man crew. In a few hours they had cut down the large pine tree, removed the stump and cleaned everything up. They did an excellant job at a great price! It saved me from all the worry about brothers hurting themselves cutting the tree down themselves. They are 62, 67 and 73 years old.

Debris and branches fell in my garden below. Went out to ask them to clean up. One of the guys just stared at me, trying to intimidate me? weird. Only the black gentleman, who cleaned up the mess, was pleasant. When they took a lunch break , one of the guys was lying in the middle of the sidewalk taking a nap.

They were very careful because there were a lot of other trees around. They were careful to not damage other trees. They cleaned up after themselves very well. They even cleaned up debris they did not create! They were very polite and professional.

They did a good job. They were pretty good with clean-up. Their professionalism was fine, as well.

He did the work and did a great job.

Did not complete all the work as was discussed initially. Became angry and argumentative when this was pointed out.

Rick was on the job within 48 hours of my call. The job was completed within a morning and there was no trace of the trees left. Clean up was excellent.

I left for work and when I came home all the trees we'd asked for were gone. Cleaned up pretty well too.

This company first worked on my property in February of this year. While taking the brush around to the front of my house Rick and his wagon proceed to rip off the stripping that holds the corner of the house together, left long white scratch marks on my neighbors house, and ran over the neighbor's drain pipe (which his assistant covered up with debris while he thought no one was looking). Rick looked at the corner of the house and said he would fix it. When he called to make arrangements for the next visit he said he would fix it. After leaving numerous phone calls asking him to fix it I am having to find someone else to do the job and I have to pay this person. I am not even trying to get him to replace the screen he damaged or the strapping he ripped off the gutter on the other side of the house. He will not return phone calls. This experience is far from pleasant and when I talked with another tree service they laughed at the price and told me to shop around next time.

RICK WAS VERY RESPONSIVE. EVEN HAD A CREW HERE A DAY EARLY. CREW WAS VERY NICE, QUICK AND WORKED HARD ALL DAY. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

THE MEN WERE VERY NICE, THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, THEY WERE CLEAN. THE ENTIRE JOB WAS COMPLETED WITHIN 2 HOURS FROM START TO FINISH. THEY NEVER STOPPED, THEY WERE COMMITTED TO THEIR JOB.

HE WAS VERY REASONABLE. HE WAS A REALLY NICE GUY, AND SUPER.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THE COMPANY.

DID IT ALL IN ONE DAY AND CLEANED UP EVERYTHING, LOOKS 100% BETTER.
