Great. Dustin arrived on time for our 9:30 appointment and offered to wear a mask. He measured and photographed each of the windows to be replaced and entered his findings alongside the existing detail in the order summary. He answered any additional questions we had and provided some additional detail on a large palladium window in the front of the house. He was professional and courteous and completed his work in just over an hour. It was quite evident that he wanted to make sure that we were going to be happy customers after the new windows were installed. We have been quite pleased with the professionalism of everyone we've come in contact with from Renewal by Andersen.

Every company has a few "bad apples", but the company made things right. The first crew did a terrible job, very poor quality. After I sent some photo's they were fired. The company sent out a second crew who worked with me to correct all of the problems. I appreciate their apologies and their dedication to high quality.

I paid $2400 in April as a deposit on 2 large windows and was given an install date in July. That was canceled and rescheduled for October. The day of scheduled install they cancelled again. It has been one week and they have never given me a new install date.

Professionalism demonstrated from start to finish; from the initial meeting with the sales consultant, through working with the person responsible for taking final measurements, through the installation of windows. The installers did a fantastic job with the installation and cleanup at the conclusion of the work. The windows and our home look great! We purchased some replacement windows and a replacement sliding patio door from Renewal By Andersen, Cincinnati. They are over-priced but they seem to be of superior construction, so I expected great quality in return. The salesperson was very nice. It was a 2-month wait for the installation, which we didn't mind because we were not in a hurry. It was a little disturbing to have to pay half up front, however. The installers were great. The windows turned out great. Because of that I didn't give them an F. But the new sliding patio door gets a failing grade. It looks nice. But the dang threshold sticks way up out of the floor. It is a trip hazard to anyone. anyone. little children, all the way up to elderly parents. This door has now inflicted upon us a liability for anyone who trips on the threshold going through the door. It could cause serious injury. We were completely unaware this threshold was going to stick up out of the floor. I would have nixed the door had I understood that. The company says it's built to code. A trip hazard is code? Our old door had a flush threshold that you could step on because it was like a flat surface. We had no problem getting in/out of the old door. But the way the new threshold sticks up, it forces you to step completely over the threshold with a very wide stride to get through the door. We cannot do that easily, because there is an immediate step down to the outside. We need to be able to step directly on that threshold to make that step, both going in and out. This new door's threshold should not be stepped on. If you do step on it, it makes you unbalanced because it angles your foot. Imagine carrying food / dishes out to the patio table having to negotiate this dumb thing sticking up out of the floor. Even my tall teenage nephew said that it was an abnormally large stride to make, even for him. Now my elderly mother cannot safely go in and out of this (her) new door because of this dumb threshold sticking up. We've gone round and round with the company. The company put forth a little effort and built a small platform on the inside of the door. It helps minimally, but it, too, is raised and is its own trip hazard. The company refused to address the outside step, which is a far worse danger. The threshold is still a trip hazard. Now we have to hire someone, ie, pay extra, to build a specialized platform outside the door. It's going to cause further complications with the existing step. We didn't need a platform for the old door. So now we have this trip hazard liability as well as needing someone to construct a goofy platform outside the door. I foresee having to find someone else to rip out that new door and install something else. I completely regret having opted to buy the Andersen replacement sliding patio door. To the Andersen execs: what if this were your elderly parents? Would you be happy with your door causing your parents to trip? Your sliding patio door needs a redesign for safety.

Long sales pitch (2 hours) and finally showed us a ridiculously high quote (3x price of other bids). Offered a discount if we signed that day. Would not break out individual items in quote. Really interested in just replacing two windows, but saleswoman ended up measuring 12 windows and would not provided a quote for just two we wanted. She kept asking about financing options even though I told her I was not buying windows that day. They also would not provide any data related to Solar Heat Gain Coefficient and U-Factor. I did some research after and they do not have windows that are energy-star rated, despite claiming I would save 30% off my energy bills. Deceptive sales tactics (lying about other company's warranties) and high pressure. I would never quote them again or let them in my house.

This was our 3rd time using Renewal by Andersen,and everything was as expected. The quality of the sliding door is fantastic and the price very competitive with others. Sales,customer service and installation were on a very professional level that you don`t often see today. This all makes for an outstanding value, and I can not recommend them highly enough.

Outstanding for the most part We bought the windows and doors in two stages. The first ran out of daylight on day one and promised to finish on day two. They were a no show, no call on day two. They showed up unannounced on day three and finished the installation. the works and workers were otherwise competent and professional. The second phase went off without a hitch. Great crew. The windows are beautiful and draft fee. We are so pleased with Renewal's products. It's nice to stand in front of the windows and patio door and not feel any drafts or sinking cold air below the windows and doors. They are expensive, but we feel that we got what we paid for them.

This is an amendment to my earlier review which was submitted to early. RbyA is great...when things go well. But they didn't in our case. We had windows and doors that were manufactured improperly. Promised to correct in 4 weeks but it took 13. Meanwhile I was living with half finished doors and a garage full of their materials. Customer service and management were non-responsive to questions about the delay. Somebody from their office in Carmel promised she would call me the day that installation was finally complete to make sure I was satisfied. Never happened. If you use them, hope that things go well because if they don't...trouble looms.

the company was not helpful at all. They drug their feet and refused to admit the windows were bad until it was far to late to replace. NEVER AGAIN.

The product is a excellent, the window itself is great. The only problem we had was scheduling and getting them out here. They were set up on a date and got here late.

Then they had to come back once to fix some pieces on the outside of the window that were coming loose. They did come back and repair everything and fixed it. Other then that, that's the only problem. I think they need some work with their scheduling and appointments. 

Product is good but expensive. Their service could use a bit of addressing, I think. They had some issues with the person we were dealing with, who left and they put someone else in play. It could be like that with anybody when you deal with customer service your the guy they yell at not the person doing the work.

We filed BBB complaint and was advised to contact the states attorney's office in Indiana where the regional office is located. Numerous errors and revisits to the point of total failure on their part. They operated outside of the agreement, charge our line of credit in full before the job was complete. They offered 4% for compensation for the inconveniences they caused. The agreement gives you a 10% hold back, which where not able to exercise as they where paid in full with out our immediate knowledge (tried to get the charges reversed). We entered into the agreement 8/4/16, the job should have be completed the end of October 2016. Agreement states that they have 120 days(12/02/2016) to finish from the point agreement. This job was finely completed on 1/16/2017, it completely interrupted our holidays, time off from work, Ect. To date we have not received any compensation. The local workshop tried very had to make things right, and the local sales manager said we would be compensated generously for the complete failures on RBA part of Ordering the opening of 2 sets of Custom double doors wrong, short order of hardware by four set, ordering the wrong size trim, shortage of trim, incomplete paint job of the interior parts of the doors, leading to hiring a painter. The regional office in Indiana was not willing to work with us. They would not reverse or adjust the charges to our credit. they would only gives us a check for our troubles when the job was complete. They offered 4% we asked them to come up with a Generous amount. yes we did contact the credit company and got no where with them too!
