We visited their showroom and then arranged for an estimator to come to our house to do measurements and consult on style. They were helpful, but we decided to go with another company based on the finish and style options that were available.

It went well. They came and measured everything and then ordered the windows. They came back later and installed them all and cleaned up their mess.

We saw them in a home show. We ordered two windows so the salesman came out. He then sent out the installation guy who measured everything. In April he came out and installed the windows. He made them so our old trim still fit. They cleaned up, they caulked the new windows. He also put in some nails on my siding for me. I was very impressed with his work. He was really good.

They have been in for about nine months. They did a good job of installing them and the windows are of good quality.

The salesman did a good job of matching the color. They cleaned up after themselves and left no mess. They did a very good job and I'm very happy with the windows.

It was pretty much of a nightmare, I'm sorry to say. They placed the initial order incorrectly, failing to order the exterior window grids that I asked for. The order form is filled out by their salesman and it is so complicated and made up of so many pages and categories filled in with codes that I did not realize from the form that the order was not what I asked for. Once the windows were installed I was shocked to see that exterior grids were not included. The window grids are an important exterior feature of my house, so I really needed to have them. After a couple weeks of discussion, Anderson agreed to add the exterior grids for an additional charge. They repeatedly messed up the order, first ordering 2 instead of the 6 I needed, then ordering 6 and installing them wrong, and finally getting 6 more and putting them on OK, 5 months after the initial order. In general, the work was not careful and they did not pay enough attention to the details.

The windows look nice, they were very prompt, they cleaned up well.

After visiting a showroom we were advised to contact an artglass artist who would work with Anderson to create a custom window. Anderson was very helpful in giving suggestions that would accommodate our needs. We were very pleased with the installation and quality.

They are replacing all my windows in my house and made some good suggestions about some problem windows. They are nice and they will quote you a price and if you can only afford some they will keep your specs on hand until you can afford the rest.

VERY ATTENTIVE TO OUR NEEDS. WE WERE ABLE TO CUSTOMIZE OUR WINDOWS AND THE ENTRY DOOR TO MATCH OUR DESIGN REQUIREMENTS. THEN WE WERE ABLE TO SETTLE ON A COMPETITIVE PRICE FOR ALL THE WORK THAT WAS DONE.(10 FT WOOD ENTRY DOOR W/SIDE LIGHTS AND 28 CASEMENT WINDOWS).

I LIKE THE WINDOWS, BUT I DID NOT CHOOSE THEM FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS; THE WARRANTY IS LIMITED, SO MANY YEARS FOR THIS, SO MANY FOR THAT, ETC. THE INSTALLERS DON'T ACTUALLY WORK FOR RENEWAL BY ANDERSON (HE DESCRIBED IT TO ME AS ''THEY ARE PAID LIKE SUB-CONTRACTORS BUT THEY ONLY DO OUR WINDOWS''). THE MATERIAL OF THE WINDOWS IS KIND OF NEW (I COULDN'T FIND ANY INFO ON THE INTERNET ABOUT THE FIBREX THESE ARE MADE OF) AND THE PRICE THE OTHER COMPANY HAD WAS A LITTLE LOWER AND MORE APPROPRIATE FOR ME. THE ESTIMATE WAS FOR $10,028. THE SALES REP, DON SMITH, WAS VERY NICE. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FOLLOWED UP WITH AN EMAILED ESTIMATE PROMPTLY THE NEXT DAY. HE TOOK A LOT OF TIME TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS PATIENTLY AND COMPLETELY. IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE MEETING WITH HIM.

THE WINDOWS AND DOORS ARE GREAT. WARMEST WINTER I EVER HAD. INSTALLATION WENT OVER A 2 MONTH PERIOD (6 DAYS IN OCTOBER, 2 DAYS BEFORE AND AFTER CHRISTMAS FOR COMPLETION), MAINLY DUE TO INSTALLERS NOT HAVING THE APPROPRIATE CUSTOM ORDERS AVAILABLE TO THEM WHEN THEY WERE CALLED FOR JOB. INSTALLERS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. HOWEVER THE COMMUNICATION FROM ANDERSON WAS OFTEN LACKING OR NOT ACCURATE WHEN PLANNING FOR THE TIMES THE WORKMEN WOULD ARRIVE. OVERALL THE PRODUCT IS GREAT. IT IS EXPENSIVE AND I MIGHT SHOP AROUND MORE NEXT TIME. HOWEVER, I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING "BETTER" THAN VINYL REPLACEMENTS AND DID NOT WANT THE MAINTENANCE OF WOOD. SURPRISED AT THE LACK OF COORDINATION BETWEEN THE COMPANY AND THE WORKMAN, BUT IN THE LONG RUN WILL ENJOY THE PRODUCT.

I THINK THEY OVERALL DID A GOOD JOB AND I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. THEY COULD USE SOME IMPROVEMENTS IN THREE AREAS: 1) MATCHING THE EXISTING WOODWORK IN THE HOUSE-THOUGH THEY TRIED HARD TO; 2) HOURS WORKED-THEY SHOWED UP BETWEEN 9:30-10:00 & TOOK 1.5 HRS FOR LUNCH WHICH MADE FOR A LONG DAY, & 3) CLEANUP-THEY MISSED ONE SIDE OF THE HOUSE.
