PRECISE EYEGLASS FRAME REPAIR CO.

This was an old (about 8 years), but expensive frame that has round optics made of tortoise-shell. They are like John Lennon's or Harry Potter glasses. At the time I purchased them, they were quite hard to find; really out of style, but I have always liked this style of glasses. Since my vision prescription has not changed in about 10 years, I had decided to hang onto them; I had had no problem with them up to this point.
Upon my arrival, Mr Dale Thompson (shop owner & licensed optician) was with another customer, who was apparently getting a new set of optics made with some variation of coatings to the lens. He asked me to take a seat and advised me he would be with me shortly. I did, and soon thereafter another customer arrived, who also was asked to wait. In a very short period of time, about 10 minutes, I was asked to step to the desk and explained that I needed my frames repaired. He looked at the arm and the frame and mentioned that the hinge was riveted onto the frame and that it would be difficult to get off for that reason, but said he would try to get the hinge off so that he could replace it.
He then asked the lady who came in after me what she needed repaired. Apparently,  her cat had sat on her frames and had bent both arms enough that she could not wear them. He took her frames and gently bent them back into shape for her, and adjusted the width of the frame so that it fit her head properly when she put them back on. It took only a couple minutes for the repair. She was very pleased, and he did not charge her.

He then took my glasses back for repair. About 15 minutes later he returned with my favorite frames fixed. He also adjusted them to fit my head. I was very pleased with the result. I had been a walk-in customer with no appointment and had my glasses repaired within 30 minutes. Great service! I would strongly recommend this business to anyone, and will return if I need this type of service in the future.
