Pinnacle installed the LEED hvac system of our new home three years ago. They installed the air intake wrong which has damaged our gas valve and now they wont respond to our multiple requests for repair. The parts should be under warranty so it appears they don't even want to help us with labor to fix their error. As a small business owner myself, this is disappointing to say the least.

Everything from the free estimate to the complete install went very well. Our system was just inspected by the city of Mason and the inspector commented that it was a very good installation. We had 5 estimates and much research before we hired this company. We were very pleased and highly recommend Pinnacle!

Chris Hall and his staff did an outstanding job installing geothermal systems in our house.  Note that the installation price was actually $21,000 after receiving a $400 rebate from Duke (which Chris took care of) and a 30% federal tax credit.  We interviewed 5 different vendors and only one of the vendors had done more installations than Pinnacle, but they were much more expensive.  The other 3 vendors cost the same or more than Pinnacle, but did not have nearly the amount of expertise.

Our house is 5000 sq ft and we used to keep the heat in the 50s overnight, low 60s during the day and bumped it up to 65 during the evenings.  In the summer we kept the house at 78F.  We also would close off rooms to cut down on heating and air conditioning costs.  Now we keep our entire house at 68F during the winter and 75F during the summer, 24/7.  Even with the much more comfortable summer and heating conditions, we still saved over $1200 this past year on our combined propane and electric bills.

Chris is very responsive to address any concerns and fix any issues.  His staff is knowledgeable, courteous and professional.  We would highly recommend Pinnacle Air Solutions to anyone considering geothermal installation.

When you can get the company to answer your calls and get an appointment scheduled, the quality of the work is excellent. I used them twice. When I tried to schedule this fall, I was unable to get them to return my calls. I finally left a voice message saying that if I didn't hear from them in a week, I would take my business elsewhere. Their billing is also a problem, I called repeatedly because I didn't get a bill. I gave them my info and still didn't get a bill. I wasn't trying to avoid paying but after all this time and several efforts on my part, I think I did enough. If this is how they treat other customers, I'm surprised that they are still in business.

My AC compressor failed during a heat wave and as the HVAC was 20+ yrs old I decided to replace everything. I obtained four estimates; Bryant, Carrier, Goodman and Trane. I believe any of the companies who gave estimates would have been excellent (all rated well on Angie's List and all very knowledgeable sales people) The reasons I chose Pinnacle, however, were 1) the expert recommendation regarding addition of a return duct in the basement which has improved the temperature tremendously in the basement, 2) the two year parts and labor warranty, 3) the Bryant rebate, and 4) the sound advice regarding how to choose HVAC components to optimize comfort and save money. They were also able to install two days after after I signed the contract. The installers were excellent. They worked a long day to make sure I had AC on the first day of installation. And the company owner filed for the Duke Energy and Bryant rebates for me so I got checks in the mail with very little effort on my part. Also, this is a good year to replace a system with the $1,500 tax credit. Great experience working with Pinnacle and I'd definitely recommend them. They sell a good product and have good people.
