My experience started well, with a price quote of $300 vs $600 from other service providers. But the job then seemed to take forever (months). I finally got my watch back after multiple phone calls, during which Andy Wahl, the owner, became increasing weird, cagey and rude. When I finally opened the return package, I found my watch (externally) *dirtier* than when I sent it in, with some grease-like substance smeared on the crystal face of the watch. The all-metal watch band had not been cleaned. Based on the external appearance of the returned watch, I wondered whether in inside of the watch had really been cleaned and oiled. After cleaning the face of the watch I put the watch on my wrist, started to walk across the room and the watch immediately fell off my wrist and onto the floor! (Luckily a carpeted floor). It was evident that Andy Wahl had not properly re-affixed the watch band to the watch itself. I was very fortunate that the watch landed on carpeting. I called Andy Wahl to tell him of my having received a dirty watch, and of the watch band "disconnection" problem. Andy immediately became super defensive, abusive, and extremely rude, implying that it was all MY fault / problem!! I would definitely NOT recommend Andy Wahl and Ohio Watch Repair under any circumstance whatsoever.

Everything went well. It was a little slow, however parts had to come from overseas, so it probably wasn't their fault. But the work was very good, and I was very pleased with the outcome.

Not very well. I called about service on my watch. Since it's not the and quot;High End Brandand quot;, the gentleman turned me away saying any other and quot;Retailand quot; store could help me or just send it back to the manufacturer. Then said, sir, sir, did you see on my site that I have a 100.00 dollar minimum fee? I told him I was not on a site.. and he hung up on me.

"It is very disappointing for us to see this review. We are a small family owned business and customer service has always been our top priority. We prize ourselves on giving the most personalized, honest service available and we treat our customers like family. This gentleman misunderstood my suggestions for his watch repair, causing some frustration on his end, leading to this review which is unfortunately not based in truth. I specialize in Rolex watch repair and other high end Swiss watches with next to wholesale prices. Mr. Martin called for a watch repair estimate and we had a conversation. The tone that he is alluding to in this review was not used. After hearing what kind of watch he had and what was wrong with it I was attempted to kindly provide him with some better fitting sources for this kind of repair. These sources would also save him money as his repair from what he explained would be in the $20.00 range elsewhere and I have a $100.00 minimum. Mr. Martin became angry, wouldn't let me speak and he hung up on me. I have never hung up on a customer. Again, customer service is our top priority at Ohio Watch Repair. I apologize to Mr. Martin for the misunderstanding. I do hope that your watch is repaired and you are pleased with the turnout.
