Mr. Handyman of Greater Cincinnati

I didn’t use them through Angie’s List, but through someone else. They actually came in very quickly and probably did the job within fifteen minutes. I was told they would be here around 10 a.m. They came around 10 a.m. and went straight to work. Everything worked after they left.

He was good and I was very happy with him. He was prompt and told me what he was going to do and the cost of the work. He was able to do the job in one day. The price was reasonable and the quality of the work was excellent. He was really cooperative about time and he did the job in a timely manner. He was very nice.

Rob did a very good job. I had contacted several other companies. No one else wanted to paint high points or work on my roof.

I have had some minor repairs that I have been putting off for a few months. I contacted Mr. Handyman and they were able to make an appointment for later in the week. The technician was prompt and very friendly. He even spent the time to allow my dog to sniff him so she would stop barking. He was very fast and explained why a new part was needed to fix my toilet. He was finished in less than estimated and cleaned up after everything he did.

He was really helpful. He was very efficient and I was pleased with the outcomes. I would definitely recommend him to others.

He found the issue and fiexed it fast

The first guy was great. He sealed an air vent. However, the 2nd guy came out in a suit, and was supposed to get on the roof and check something for us.

I thought his pricing was a little high, but had very good quality. In terms of punctuality, they called and were on time.

Because there was only one man, I felt like I had to keep going outside to check on him to ensure his safety when he was on our roof. He was very personable but talked too much and worked slowly; therefor price went up. Don't talk to him.

They fixed it and they came in with a reasonable price. They were fast. They gave me a quote on how long it would take and when they would do it. They actually came in earlier to fix it. I would consider using them again.

Mike the handyman, is always prompt, he cleans up after himself, he knows what he is doing. I call him a jack of all trades; and also a master of all trades. As I mentioned above Mr. Handyman can do just about any job you may need. We have used them for painting, caulking, electrical, hanging shutter, hanging doors and hanging a large clock in our kitchen. I would not hesitate to give them a great referral.

Great job, professional, one of the best experiences I have had in home iomprovement

We used Mr. Handyman to repaint shutters on our house, including some second story shutters. We had selected and provided the paint. I was impressed with their punctuality and professionalism. Mr. Handyman will quote over the phone, which was convenient for me. I probably could have done better on price, but the convenience made up for it. They showed up on time, and finished within their estimated time window, and other than newly painted shutters, you'd never know they were there.

The price was good. The quality was excellent.

I was impressed from the get-go. Kyle came on-time to my house for an estimate and reassured me that the issues could be easily repaired without breaking the bank or having to wait months to fit into the work schedule. I scheduled the repair for 2 weeks out and I received a call the very next week saying they could do the repairs sooner than expected. I was elated! On 10/17, two of Kyle's workers, Mike and Rob, came to my house exactly at 8:30am. I was impressed by their punctuality as well as professionalism throughout the projects. They knew exactly what the job would entail, what was needed and how long it would take and they even cleaned up after themselves. They began by demolishing and the old tile and removing the tub on day one. They also worked on the shutter and soffit repair outside since they knew it would rain the following day. Kyle also picked up my new tub at Lowe's since it would not fit in my SUV. After Day 1 was over, the shutter and soffit were repaired and demo in the bathroom was complete. On day 2 they repaired the plumbing, put new backer board for the tub tile, put the new tile down and repaired and painted the kitchen soffit. On day 3 they grouted the tile and filled in between the floor tile and bathtub. The new tub came slightly smaller, so Mike and Rob got creative about how they could fill the space since there was a now a gap. They cut some pieces of trim wood and framed the tub in and it looks even better than it ever did! They also explained to me that I had to leave the grout set for 4 days before I could spray seal. They gave detailed instructions so that we could get the longest life out of the new tile and grout. I so appreciate this! The Manager, Kyle, also came to my house every day to monitor the progress and also helped with removal of the tub. Having Kyle on-site periodically gave me peace of mind that the project was on track and going well. The only issues we encountered were minor. Due to the size of the tub issue, the tub tile didn't go as planned in terms of layoout, so the over-the-toilet cabinet no longer fit. They installed it partially over the tile. Once I brought this to their attention, they offered to fix it by giving me three viable options. I chose to purhcase a new smaller cabinet and they came promptly to install it for me after the fact. They also accidentally chipped our the toilet seat in the process of the bigger repairs, but they reimbursed me for a new one and installed it on the same day they came out for the cabinet. Overall, I was very impressed by the quality of the work, their punctuality each and every day, the professionalism of the crew and the care they took in my house as they were working. I highly recommend Kyle, Mike and Rob...and Mr. Handyman! In fact, they are coming back to clean my gutters in a few weeks. I will be keeping them on my handyman list for future repairs!

Handyman was punctual, professional and we were very pleased with the quality of the work. He was neat and cleaned up afterwards. The only reason we didn't rate this service an A is because of the cost. We did not expect it to take as long as it did and so the price was much higher than we had anticipated. It was nice to get the 10% coupon they provided on Angie's List since it saved us almost $70.

We were not pleased. We used them last year and this year. They had to come back to finish off what they didn't do last year. They charged us again. We were not happy with that. We ended up throwing it all in the garbage from the first time. We called them and complained and we never got a return call. I was supposed to talk to Kyle and never heard from him. I talked to a Linda a couple of times. They did refund $34 but they shouldn’t have charged $134 to begin with because they were coming back to paint a spot that they said we had the wrong color from the previous year. It wasn't; it just looked different because it was a spot that was older. He came back a second time to do what he was supposed to do the first time, and charged us $134. He did take off a charge for a preferred customer which brought it to $109 and then they sent me a check for $34 but it was still ridiculous because they shouldn’t have charged for something that should have been done the first time. I asked them to put in some under the cabinet kitchen shelving the fist time and he used old dirty filthy disgusting exterior wood to put my pots on top of. When I went to check what he had done I thought holy smokes so I actually pulled them out and painted them. They were just garbage so I ended up throwing them all away. I didn't call and I was just going to let it go but when they came back to paint a piece of wood on the exterior and then charged me again, I was like they had to be kidding. I complained and kind of got blown off and they really could of cared less. I will never use those folks again. The price was poor because I got charged for something that I threw in the trashcan.

The prep work was poor and the paint job was mediocre and slow.

He came in and did everything very quickly. He did some brick work, tiling, and caulking. He did a great job and I will be using him again.

The handyman was under the sink and broke a PVC pipe and water was going everywhere. He went to go get another PVC pipe to fix the problem. They charged me to fix the problem. After he fixed this problem, the garage disposal was still leaking. I ended up paying for the parts but not for the time it took for him to fix it. The guy said he took a picture of the problem and my tenant said that he did not take any pictures of this. I would not recommend them or use them again.

I called 4 companies prior to Mr. Handyman for an estimate to have my fascias repaired. None of the 4 showed up. I called Mr. Handyman and they scheduled an appointment for the next day to give an estimate. Tom arrived right on schedule and provided a complete estimate for the intended repairs. I called and scheduled the work to be done. I only had to wait 3 days for the job to start.Tom arrived on time, worked constantly in very hot and humid conditions, did a great job repairing and replacing sections of my fascia; and cleaning, painting and reattaching my gutters. The job looks great. He cleaned up after the job. I was completely satisfied with the job. I will call them first should I need any other repairs done.

It went great. I tried calling multiple other handymen, these guys were most responsive and flexible. They did exactly what we asked and did it well.

Tom arrived on time and with the equipment needed to do the repairs. He was efficient and completed the repairs in a timely fashion. The gutters in the back had pulled loose because they had not been installed properly and he corrected that. Tom was very friendly and considerate. The price was what we were told on the phone it would be for the first hour plus the cost of the materials. The siding looks good and the gutter is back where it should be.

Woke up to find water dripping from blistering ceiling. I called several contractors that had positive ratings on Angie's List to come out and assess/fix the damage. Most never returned my call after leaving a message, but Mr. Handyman actually had a real person answering the phone - how refreshing! In addition, they were able to send someone out that morning. A technician named Tom arrived 1 1/2 hours later and quickly got to work. Tom was friendly, knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. Couldn't ask for a better experience!
