It was fine. They confirmed an appointment and sent a photo of the guy. He was very professional and pleasant. He wore booties in the house and put down mats. It was great.

We had a great experience with Mr. Electric of Warren County. Matthew, the co-owner, performed the service and was awesome! He was very professional in his interactions with us and in the work he performed. He was prompt, helpful, polite, explained everything that needed to be done clearly and presented options. His work was excellent with minimal repair to drywall needed. This was remarkable considering the number of walls and maze of barriers above the basement ceiling. The best thing about him was his attitude. It was a challenging job with many obstacles and he only became more excited about the work. He clearly enjoyed what he was doing. Matthew's wife handled the appointments and was also very personable and helpful. I will definitely use them again.

Great I feel bad because he had to crawl up in the attic and run electrical through the basement. I would recommend him and if I ever have any electrical issues. Very thorough

I called out the electrician because I had a short in my electrical system in my house that keeps causing my light switches not to work and my intercom system in my house not to work. He told me how much it was before looking at anything in the house. He checked random light switches, attempted to fix a ceiling fan that still doesn't work because there is a problem with the switch and worked on a garage light fixture that still doesn't work. So basically I paid almost 300 for nothing.
He was nice, courteous, punctual and professional but he was not the person I needed to work on my electrical issue.

When our home was built 12 years ago, there was an additional circuit provided on the exterior wall on the front of the house. The wires were in a covered box and were associated with a switch, but they were not being used. We had purchased a fountain and wanted a weather-proof GFI receptacle installed about 10 feet from the house by utilizing one of the existing circuits.
Matthew reviewed the job and came up with an estimate for parts and labor. I had started the trenching work and agreed to finish that part of the job, so he could focus on the electrical installation. Matthew was prompt and courteous. He assessed the parts he needed and came back in about 45 minutes with everything that was required. He installed UGW in conduit from the one box to the fountain, then mounted a weatherproof box on a 4x4 post for the receptacle at the fountain. He also installed a weatherproof receptacle in the second exterior box on the same circuit. Both installations were professionally done.
The real value of Matthew's expertise was revelaed when he installed the GFI breaker for the circuit and it tripped out. He considered a number of reasons why this might be occurring (the most likely being a shared neutral), and then proposed that he could solve the problem if I was willing to have an additional GFI receptacle installed inside and associate it with the switch - so he could have a dedicated neutral for that circuit. He quickly assembled what he needed and installed the receptacle at no additional charge. It worked beautifully. This trouble-shooting skill is a difference maker. A less experienced electrician could have spent hours trying to diagnose and locate the problem, but Matthew was creative and efficient in his solution.
He was very clean and orderly in his work. I thought the value I received for the work that was done was very reasonable. I would definitely use him again.

The technician really worked hard for 7 hours, spending along time working in the attic which was pretty hot. He also ran speaker wires down through one wall 10' tall in which he in countered 4 separate 2 X 4 blocks within the wall cavity, and he worked very hard to get the wires through and prevailed. Before I retired I was an engineer and frequently hired contractors to work on high rise buildings and townhome units. He is the type of contractor I would hire for my jobs, and recommend to others.

Mr. Price arrived early in the appointment window to remove a lighting fixture from the bathroom ceiling and install a new fixture on the wall (used the Big Deal coupon from Angie's List). While he was there, we asked him to provide an estimate for splitting off the bathroom outlet onto a separate circuit to eliminate circuit breaker tripping problems we have had when plugging in hair dryers and auxiliary portable heater during the winter. In addition to the Big Deal coupon, he provided an estimate of $288 to also add the separate circuit. In all, he spent about 6 hours completing the work. It was done very neatly. He took the time to cover the floors prior to work and to clean up thoroughly after completion. It was a pleasure to have him do the work and I would have no qualms whatsoever in calling again when I need electrical work done.

Went very smooth. I watched him the whole time (to learn not to supervise). He obviously knew what he was doing and leaft all work areas as he found them.

I spoke with Mrs. Price (husband and wife team) on Tuesday to request an electrician to install a ceiling light in a bedroom that didn't previously have a light. She was able to schedule me in for Friday of the same week which was fantastic! She let me know at that time that I would receive an email the day before my appointment along with the technician's, Matthew Price, picture plus I would receive a call on the appointment day 1/2 hour before he would be arriving at my home. I did indeed receive the email and Matthew called me the day of my scheduled appointment, within the designated window of time, to let me know that he was 25 minutes out. Matthew arrived promptly and introduced himself, he was very cordial and professional.
He layed a mat outside our front door so he didn't track anything in the house and wore shoe covers while in our home which I very much appreciated. I showed him the room in which I wanted the light added. He explained his process and formulated a plan via iPad which he showed to me. He explained that his quote is exactly what I would be charged. I agreed and he went to work and he worked very hard! He spent about two hours doing the necessary work. He showed me a couple of different dimmers that I could choose from which I did. He completed the work and then brought his own vacuum in to clean up. He cleaned the room where the work was completed and the room where the attic access panel was (he was thorough). Matthew then brought me in to explain what he did. He completed everything he said that he was going to and even switched out the electrical outlet that was originally connected to the light switch and at no charge!
I would highly recommend Mr. Electric! My experience was very positive beginning with my initial phone call to the completion of the work that we had requested. Matthew was pleasant, professional, thorough and very knowledgable. I will definitely contact Mr. Electric again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

It went okay. He did the services that we requested. He acted like the job was too big for him to do. He did a great job. He was a nice guy. He knows what he's doing and he was good at what he does.

I received an email confirmation of my appointment the day before with a picture of Matt, the electrician, for reference. He arrived on time, and was able to give me a quick estimate of the cost of all my repairs. He went to work quickly and efficiently and was very mindful of keeping my house clean throughout the whole process - always using drop cloths and sweeping up after himself. He noticed some poor workmanship in the attic with recessed lighting that I had had installed by someone else, took pictures to show me and worked extra to make it safer. He was very personable, and completely trustworthy. I will definitely use him again and have already recommended him to friends and family that need electrical work done.

I have been attempting to renovate my house over the past year, and have used Angie's list to find providers on numerous occasions. This was, by far, my best experience. Mr. Electric of Warren County was very communicative, was able to fit my service in soon after contact, and was right on time. I was even provided a picture so I would know who to expect.
Matthew was very personable, and went right to work. I had purchased a Big Deal, and showed him where I wanted a ceiling light installed. There was no light currently in the room, so he installed the box, ran the wires and installed the light. He did a perfect job, and it looks and works great. He was very careful to be clean in the house, and covered his shoes when he was inside. I'm pretty sure my place was cleaner when he left than when he arrived. I could not tell he had been working in the room at all after he left.
I will definitely use Mr. Electric of Warren County in the future, and recommend them without hesitation.

Matthew was absolutely wonderful! So easy to work with and makes you feel like you just have a friend over helping you around your house. He is very thorough and took plenty of time to walk us through problems, explain solutions, and tell us how repairs would be completed. He showed us how to look for future problems and explained features in our breaker box that we were unaware of. The initial call was for an outlet that was melting and was a huge fire hazard. Not only did he fix that outlet and all other outlets on the same breaker he made sure to check different areas of the house to be sure we were safe. He carries a pricing book with him and shows you charges in writing so you do not feel like he is just coming up with fees out of nowhere. We had not planned on having any other work done but we liked him so much that we went ahead and had him install a dimmer switch for us in our nursery. The garage lighting was looked at just as a courtesy and it is working perfectly now. I would highly recommend Matthew to absolutely anyone needing an electrician. He stayed late and charged no after hours fees and when calling to schedule an appointment I was offered same day if needed, overall just great service! He puts down a rug, wears shoe covers, and cleans up spotlessly after completing his work. We feel fortunate to live in an area that Matthew services. Thank you for all your help!
