"Mr. [Consumer name withheld at their request] had a 20 or 30 yr old disposal, When I took the pipe off the disposal, half the metal came with it, so knowing that hole on the disposal was going to be impossible to seal back up, I let Mr Hersel know that he needed a new disposal. I explained how half the metal come off with the washer, and he refused. Usually the disposal pipe come with a new disposal, so had to make a special trip to home depot. I tried a couple times to get it seal, I was finally able to double up on some rubber washers, pipe dope and got it sealed. This job was a nightmare, hey who ever said plumbing wasn't. I don't think Mr[Consumer name withheld at their request]knew the severity of the situation."
