LEI Home Enhancements - Avoid This Company at All Costs! I’m sharing my experience to warn others about LEI Home Enhancements and their unprofessional practices. I hired this company to install Alside windows, and the entire process has been a nightmare—poor product quality, incorrect measurements, and a botched installation. Despite my efforts to get these issues resolved, I’ve been met with excuses, delays, and zero accountability. To make matters worse, the franchise location that handled my installation has since gone out of business, leaving me to deal with their headquarters directly. After involving the Registrar of Contractors (ROC) to assist in resolving the matter, the headquarters claimed they had no recollection of ever speaking with me or handling my project—a blatant attempt to dodge responsibility. Furthermore, it appears they subcontracted the installation, likely with unlicensed personnel, because there were no records of a contractor's number, nor could their company provide me with this information when I inquired about it. This raises serious concerns about their hiring practices and the legality of their operations. Adding to the nightmare, the old windows were smashed out rather than properly removed, and retrofitted windows were hastily installed onto the old frames. This resulted in losing several inches on each side of the new windows due to this improper method of installation, which was never disclosed to us during the process. To make matters worse, the windows themselves are cheaply made and of extremely poor quality. If you’re considering this company, don’t do it. Their lack of accountability and professionalism is astounding. Save yourself the frustration and choose a reputable company that stands behind its work!

Our house gets very hot in the summer and blackout curtains did not help regulate the heat. We replaced our builder grade windows with LEI triple pane argon tinted windows and the difference is amazing! We have curtains open and do not feel the heat. The air conditioner does not need to run 24/7 to keep the upstairs cool. And the baked in UV tint allows us to enjoy the evening sunset without the blinding glare of surrounding houses. Very happy with our decision!

We were home one day when an employee Brooke came to do saying she was looking for some show homes in the neighborhood and there would be discounts applied to the total amount of the windows. She was so friendly and said they can work with us. We ordered around Nov and by March they were in. Then we hit a financial hardship due to inflation. I called LEI office and spoke with Shannon. She was so sweet and I was treated like a person at not just someone who owes a debt. They were able to work with and truly wanted to help life be a little easier and doable where I can still make payment. Lei is a family owed business and the owners and Shannon really cares for their clients. That is my experience and I’m so glad I chose LEI. Thank you LEI!!

I decided to change my windows since I realized that my house was very cold in the winter time. When someone from sales came and showed me all that his windows had to offer, I decided to change them. But my house is still cold and it's been a year and they never gave me an answer as to why this happens. I'm supposed that I buy something of good quality! Terrible quality!!

Overall it went really well, we are happy with the product. We have had them in for about 6 months now and we have a few windows that are not as easy to open as they were initially. Also our back door is leaking water, and air. They have followed up and are trying to fix the door. We havent notified them about the windows yet. Overall they are attentive and respond to us when we have had issues.

Fantastic windows! Install was quick and painless, the installers were in and out with all debris cleaned up afterward. It has only been a month but we are already seeing a difference in heat retention in the house. With outside temperatures below 40 degrees we have been able to turn off electric heat and just use the gas fireplace once or twice a day and maintain temperature inside! Would absolutely refer friends to LEI!

The quote I got from them was SO HIGH! My house is all siding but its only 1500 sq ft - the quote was $52,000. And I was told this price was after the 50% off sale they were having in the month of September. It was for a premium insulated siding but from other quotes have been around $20-25K. They may do great work but I didn't hire them.

Started off little rocky but the team was quick to rectify the issues and even compensated us for our troubles. Once we got passed the issue with our salesman leaving the company everything went very smooth. Our installer Tom was very presentable and helpful. Not only was he an overall nice gentleman, his workmanship was top of the line. I will recommend LEI to all of our neighbors and family.

It was a great experience. They walked us through every step and answered every question we had. They told us before anything would be done and the times. We had one window came in with a crack and the installer even pointed it out before we saw it and marked it and noted it for replacement. Everything was professional. Definitely recommending them and using them again.

We recently had 3 doors installed in our home. The salesman was professional & we were able to select all facets of our new doors! The installation crew called us prior to installation & let us know approximately when they would arrive. They arrived promptly & began work. Our home was left clean & they discussed operating instructions with us. In addition, the installation crew was very courteous! We previously used LEI for windows & would definitely use them again!

Our windows look great. Everything was done in an extremely timely manner. The installers were quick to schedule and very accommodating to my schedule. Between quote time to installation, everything was done in less than 2 months. Very fast and good service.

Installation was clean and tidy and done in a professional manner. Installer was friendly and shared process and benefits of the product purchased. Only complaint was miscommunication of time frame from signing the loan to installation date. When contacted, we received friendly service and knowledgeable answers. Our home was left clean and we love our new windows and sliding door. AMAZING warranty is transferable to future homeowners. Did not feel pressured into having to commit in the moment- very understanding staff!

This was the best decision we could have made. Our windows were old and super drafty. From start to finish this company went above and beyond. Windows were installed ahead of schedule in-spite of a minor color mix up. The installers explained everything and let us know how long the job would take. They were fast and professional. We had a total of 10 windows including a sliding glass door replaced. I love the look and feel when I drive up to my house now. I especially love how much better the temperature in my house has improved. I would definitely use this company again.

We had a great experience with LEI Home Enhancements. Liz and her trainee were very knowledgeable and friendly and not at all pushy. The windows are gorgeous and very high quality (probably too nice for our house to be honest!), and we were able to lower our thermostat three degrees as soon as they were installed - and could probably lower it more. Howard did a wonderful job on the install and completed it as soon as they were ready, despite the very cold weather. We had 18 windows done and Howard got them in in three days. We are more than satisfied!
