"I am very sorry to hear that your recent move was not a great experience. Thank you for taking the time to let us know that your experience with Leaders was not a great one. I apologize that you felt the initial phone quote that was provided was out of line with your expectations. In trying to provide you the information I believe we did not explain how this number was derived and failed to communicate well in our efforts. Unlike other moving companies that "ballpark" their quotes, based on charging by the hour, our pricing is actually much more involved and based on the actual inventory or items being moved. Our goal is to ensure that the exact number of items are on our inventory list prior to the move so that we do not encounter the issues that you unfortunately experienced on move day. Our salespeople are trained to explain this competitive advantage as well as the fact that we do not disconnect or connect appliances. I apologize if we did not make both of these items clear during your quote. We have used this experience to reinforce to our sales team that it is important for us to continue to clearly communicate how our pricing works and to make sure we have a full inventory of items to move prior to supplying the quote and booking the move. As far as the actual move goes, I am very sorry to hear that there was some damage to a couple of items during the move. We work very hard to make sure all of our crews handle your valuables as if they are their own, but we do realize that occasionally things do occur during a move. When they do, we work hard to make sure those issues are resolved quickly. Our records show that your repairs were completed on 10/26/16. We hope that you are pleased with the repairs that were made.
