The whole process was totally painless. (Except the part where I got estimates from several roofers). Jason showed up timely, showed me the pieces they were going to install, how the whole process would work, timeline, etc. He was on check for every detail. I have a single story 1200 sq ft ranch and it is absolutely beautiful with the new black roof! While I would certainly hire them again, I hope to never have to. I have given them several referrals already though.

Jason and his crew were great. They showed up when they said they were going to and had the job completed in the time frame allotted. Jason worked with me on scheduling so that I could get gutters and painting all done in the same week which was tremendously helpful. Pricing was very competitive (actually lower than most). The crew did a nice job of cleaning up after the job. found a few little bits and pieces, but that is to be expected in my opinion. They even got the hose out and cleaned off an area where their ladder had rubbed against the new paint.

JAF Roofing did an excellent job from start to finish and I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family. Jason, the owner, worked hand-in-hand with me during the entire process and made the experience completely stress free. JAF provided me with an estimate that was by far the best price that I received ($10,355.00), and thousands of dollars less then competitor's prices, while still using the top-notch materials that I expected. The roofing crew was punctual each day and their workmanship was matched only by their professionalism. The foreman spoke with me each morning to see if I had any questions and always kept me apprised of what would be taking place that particular day. The crew always cleaned up the entire work site before leaving each day. The JAF gutter crew also did a fine, fine job of replacing my gutters and downspouts and they went above and beyond when it came to completing some sheet metal work on the rake of my home. They did a fantastic job of mitering the corners of the gutters and used far more fasteners to attach the new gutters then had been used on the gutters that were being replaced. On top of all that, Jason worked with my insurance company to obtain an additional $1800 towards the cost of the work. Overall, I am elated at the work that was performed by JAF Roofing. If you are in need of a great roofing/gutter contractor, look no further then JAF Roofing. Give Jason at JAF Roofing a call, you will be glad that you did!!!

I had a leak around my chimney. I had not used JAF in the past, but decided to give the company a call due to the reviews on this list and its close proximity to my home. Jason came out the day after I called. As it turned out, the flashing needed to be replaced. I also had a few shingles that needed to be replaced as well. Though my job was relatively small, Jason made us feel like a priority and the repair was done promptly. The price was reasonable and affordable. Importantly, Jason was very honest about the repair that needed to be completed. The customer service was exceptional. I highly recommend JAF.

They did an awesome job on my new roof. It took over a month to try and get another company to come to the house, then another couple weeks of me trying to get a quote from them, which I never got. JAF Roofing was referred to me by a friend of my son. They came to the house and gave me a quote within 2 days. Then 1 week later came and started working on my roof. It took 2 days to complete, but had issue with an outdated smoke stack. The owner contacted for me another company to get a customer-made flashing. I was so grateful. I would not have known who to contact, much less try to explain to them what I needed. JAF did it all for me. The owner went above and beyond what was expected from him. So Grateful! They also made sure the exposed roof around the smoke stack did not leak if it would happen to rain. This company did an awesome job. I would use them again in a heart beat.

Jason was very responsive and so easy to work with. We live out of state and chased another roofer for weeks before calling JAF. We needed someone we could trust to do an excellent job without requiring our oversight - JAF Roofing was the right choice. The clean up after the job was amazing - not a trace of old shingles or nails in the yard and the roof looks beautiful. The job went very smooth. All the men were great. They worked continuously. The roof is beautiful. I would recommend Jason and his crew to my family and friends. The crew let me know what was going on the whole time. Also they were very friendly.

The owner, Jason, was wonderful to work with! He did a great job explaining everything to us and helping us understand the process with the insurance company. We had a couple of competitive bids for this job and we chose Jason because of his willingness to go above and beyond. His crew came out several times to look at the roof and was with us when the insurance adjuster was here. He was great at explaining the repairs that needed to be done and how they would be completed. He gave us options in terms of materials and explained the pros and cons of each. It did not feel like a sales pitch at all, instead it felt like we were being given all necessary information without being pressured, which was very much appreciated. It took 2 days for the roof to be replaced and an additional day for the gutters to be replaced. The workers were friendly and very good about cleaning up at the end of each day. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the job that Jason and his crew did. The roof looks great and we have already received compliments from our neighbors. We would highly recommend JAF Roofing.

Jason was very prompt, courteous and professional. He gave me addresses of roofs near me so I could see their work. Scheduling was a breeze, and the work began within a few days of setting the appointment. The crew was also very hard working. The team arrived when scheduled, and worked hard for 3 days to remove the old 3 tab shingles, and replace the roof with dimensional shingles. They cleaned up so well that I wouldn't have known they were even working at the house (except for having a new roof).
I would definitely use JAF Roofing again, and recommend them to anyone looking for a roof repair or replacement.

The team did an excellent job. Jason came out promptly to measure and showed me pictures of the issues on the roof. He gave me addresses nearby to view the shingle colors on whole roofs vs. picking from the little sample.
The crew showed up on time the day scheduled to start and worked hard for 3 days to strip and replace the roof. They removed an old antenna I didn't need. They asked about other issues and replaced the one attic fan that was no longer working. They replaced the ridge vent the last roofer had shingled over and painted all the vents, etc. to match the shingles. Cleanup was excellent -- they used magnets to pick up tons of nails.
The man who dropped off the trash container and picked it up at the end (at 9p, no less!) was also awesome. Very careful on the narrow, long driveway and cautious of hitting the walls. Swept up after too.
The house looks great! I've even had a neighbor stop by and ask what color I used so she could do hers in the same.

It was excellent. A friend of ours also used them and was very happy with it. They got the job done in 2 days. The cleanup was very good and they sent 5 guys out to do the job each day.

I was very happy with the service. The foreman, Paul Woodruff, was a master certified CertainTeed installer (I confirmed this with the shingle supplier). Paul noted that the existing 68 ft. of ridge vent was inadequate for the house and recommended adding another 24 ft along the roofline of the gables. The only extra charge was the $88 for the extra ridge vent material.
Paul ran a good, hardworking and safe crew of local people. This was not a subcontracted crew of foreign workers. The crew was courteous and thorough going so far as to cover the lawn and shrubs so that the roofing nails didn't end up in the yard. At the end of the job, they policed the area going so far as to run a magnet over the yard to make sure no nails remained on the property. This was an A++++ job!
Most important - there have been no leaks, no torn shingles in storms, no ice damage to the house.

Installed new roof on the house. The owner is the "front man" for the business, and is very professional and courteous. The work appears to have been done very professionally with minimal mess, even in a small urban environment. I had expected to get multiple estimates for the work before getting it done, but felt so confident in this company (professionalism and price) that I felt no need to waste my time "shopping around".
