,I built a new home in the Willows Bend subdivision in Loveland.  I walked my property with Dave Hafner and explained to him what I wanted to do, where I wanted patios, walls and walks.  Dave provide recommendations on the types of plants that would work best given our location and the sun exposure on the various sides of my home, and as well as the size and location of my patios.  The finished landscape exceeded my expectations and Dave made my landscape vision a reality.  I would highly recommend Dave Hafner & Sons for your landscape project.  He is very professional, knows what trees, shrubs, and plants will thrive in our area, and provides tremendous value for the price paid.

Overall, the experience was great.  It was my second time ordering.  The first time I ordered, everything went very smoothly.  The second time I ordered I spoke with someone who I think was new and eager to help, but they had to call me back.  Unfortunately, they didn't call back  so I called again the next day, they apologized and I had my order in.  Delivery was great and right on time.  The product is awesome.

We purchased yards of black, dyed mulch.  This was the first time we used this company.  We will use them again.  We were pleased with the mulch and timliness of their delivery.  Most impressive though was their response to an issue we had at the time of delivery.  They immediately said they would correct the issue and responded pleasantly and promptly - no hassles, whatsoever - wonderful to work with.    We were very  satisfied with this company

H Hafner provided an excellent quality black dyed hardwood mulch - about 6 yards - to our house.  They were prompt, called to confirm that day, and the driver was very friendly and courteous.   I've been very impressed with the quality of the mulch.  It will be nice to see if it maintains its black color over the winter.   Highly recommend these folks.

The office staff was very responsive and quiet helpful. I believe the price I paid was quiet fair. The delivery driver was very responsive and he offered advice on placing the product to lighten my labor. The product is excellent. The only issue I had was the delivery occurred 2.5 hours after the agreed upon timeframe. The office did call me several times to inform me of the status of the tardy deivery. I would definitely purchase from Hafner again and I would recommend their products to my friends.

I called Hafner's on Wednesday to ask questions about top soil. The girl on the phone was very informative and professional. Based on her description, I decided to order the remediated soil to be delivered the following Saturday between 10-11am.The driver was a little late, but they called in advance to let me know when to expect him. I discussed with the driver where and how we wanted the soil dropped and he dropped it perfectly. He could not have been more on target and once again was a very informative and professional person. The soil itself was beautiful. It was described as having visible rocks and sticks, however, while we could see some small pebbles, we never saw stick one. The soil was nice and loose, and very easy to rake and shovel. I was extremely happy with the whole experience.

I called Hafner a few days before I needed mulch and spoke to a very friendly receptionist who easily ordered the mulch I wanted and set up a Saturday delivery. They showed up on time were neat and clean with the delivery. We were are very pleased with the quality of the mulch.

After having our chimneys cleaned, I asked our chimney sweep for a recommendation for firewood, and Hafners was one of two he recommended. Of the two, Hafners had the lower price for delivery of mixed firewood. They delivered a "bucketful" which is about 3/4 Cord, the same day as the order was placed. I was given an hour timeframe for delivery, and the delivery was about 20 minutes after this expired, but that was not a problem for me as I had told the office that I would be home all afternoon. The firewood was delivered via a small dump truck, and was dumped onto the drive at the place I requested of the driver. I stacked it myself. I did not ask if they offered this service as I planned to stack it. The wood was fairly dry, remarkable as it had rained the entire previous day. There were some chunks of dirt, which might have come from a previous delivery as they also sell mulch and topsoil. However the wood itself was mostly clean. The driver gave me a packet of coupons and information for their other services, which I appreciated.. Overall, a good experience.

Quality of mulch good and professionalism of workers who delivered was excellent. Management was quick to proactive resolve a 2hr delivery delay (from original time quoted) by crediting extra $ amount off of delivery charge (in addition to the $15 delivery coupon provided on Angie's List).Will definitely order from them again!

The people came and delivered the soil on their way home on a Friday. they were polite.  However, Sunday it rained and we hadn't had a chance to cover the pile but we noticed that there was a tremendous amount of clay in the mix.  The soil compacted to the touch and you could tell the leaf mold hadn't really composted into the mix well...   I contacted the owner and told him we were not happy with the product and he offered to haul out an additional amount of 6 cubic  yards of just manure and leaf mold..  Overall we are very disappointed with the product and were inconvenienced that the product wasn't ready to go.  We have had to mix the additional compost into by hand..  Our site is VERY clay and we do need a quality product in order to plant our vegetable garden. I was happy that the owner did give us an additional 6 cubic yards of compost .. but honestly we probably could have used more .. but overall shouldn't have had to go through the trouble.  I would just say to anyone buying soil online.. It is probably better to go and look at the soil IN PERSON.. and do not rely on pictures.. they are deceiving and you don't know really what you are getting.

They were very helpful on the phone and easy to work with. They delivered when they said they would. They were careful about dumping it where I wanted and very professional. The cost was a little higher than other quotes I got, but the topsoil was very good quality. It was worth it.
