Called in AM, talked to Mike who said he could come out in the afternoon. He showed up when he said, identified the issue immediately, gave me a fixed price and fixed the issue in an hour. Overall great experience.

Awesome - this is the best company! They go above and beyond. I had some weather stripping that came off - not why i called them - they fixed it. They came in with a seriously messed up old automatic garage door - and fixed it.....this is a great company!

First he was supposed to come one day, and he called after I waited for him to say he cannot make it. he came back the next day, and BEFORE he even looked at the problem, he said he could not work on it because it was too old. He was rushed on the phone. Rather unpleasant experience...

Our garage door was not consistently responding to either the wall mounted control or the car remote controls. The mechanical aspects of the 2-year-old door worked just fine, but there was a communication problem between the controls and the door opener. Mike came out, sprayed some oil on the lifting mechanism and said we should just buy a completely new garage door. But, I could see that mechanically the door worked fine and the problem was with the unit receiving the signals from the control units. Later, I had the Overhead Door company come out and they correctly assessed the problem as a wiring problem and fixed the wiring. Garage Door Service was correct in stating that for the cost of repair, they could install a new door, but the problem is that if the wiring problem was not corrected, I was going to continue having intermittent problems with the door. I think professionals should have been able to correctly diagnose the real problem. Plus Garage Door Service would have driven off with a perfectly good used garage door that could easily have been resold for additional profit. Just my two cents.

Very well done- on a Sunday evening

My wife and I found out the torsion spring on our garage was broken when we were both trying to leave for work in the morning. I was able to call Mike and he was there within 1.5 hours, had the right part on hand and was able to replace it in 40 minutes for what I thought was a reasonable price. No nonsense, very responsive, would definitely hire again.

Great! These guys were fantastic. I had someone meeting them and it did not go as planned. But the garage was open and they went ahead and looked at it and fixed without any assistance from homeowner or representative supposed to guide their work. Not only that - but they fixed some weather stripping on the other garage door at their own volition without instruction or charge. GREAT service that is unexpected these days. Cannot say enough about this company.

Great experience, The spring was replaced with a higher quality one and the price was very reasonable.

The company was responsive and was able to schedule me within a few days. The owner actually performed the service and was incredibly fast and performed good work. Very happy with the service and professionalism.

We told them we had a home warranty and we would have to pay the deductible and we would just be reimbursed from it. He said he needed a part, but he didn't ask us if we needed it right away, and this actually the controller that opens and closes the door. I had to call a week later and say hey, my girlfriend is out of town, she's in Germany, you were going to call us. He said, well, I was waiting for the part to come back. I said what part is it? Well, I know a company that actually had the parts in stock, I wish they would've given us the option to pay the extra difference, because the warranty would have paid for it. I'm a girl by myself in a new area, and we were trying to get it done before she left for Germany. Then they gave us a story that one of the members of the family had passed away and stuff. I said I understand that, but you need to have a back up person to do this stuff. He ended up coming and putting the part in. It took him forever to get back with us to give us the bill. My partner kept saying she needed a copy of the bill so she could reimbursed from the warranty. The guy came out, but he should have given us the option to get the part from the local area. Especially when we have a home warranty and they would have just taken out the reimbursement part from our deductible that we owed. Knowing  that another company had the part, and he could have gone half an hour away and been back and installed it. He just had to order it himself and wait a week for it.

I called this company and Mike was there the next day. He returned 2 days later and installed a new garage door opener to replace my 35-40 year old one. Works perfectly and it is nice to have a garage door opener that works. Mike was knowledgeable and professional in all respects. Definitely give Garage Door Service two thumbs up,

Fine..a little more expensive than I wanted to pay

Mike Panero from Garage Door Service was awesome! I called around 11 AM when I discovered the problem and was told someone would come out the same day. I was given a 2 hr window (12-2) and Mike arrived right at 1. He called ahead of time which was helpful. Very friendly and knowledgable, he fixed the problem quickly and completely. He did the repair work and didn't try to add other services or upsell anything. Very fair price. Will definitely recommend and would use again!
