"We do not have control over the mulch if it was not purchased through us. We use a high quality product. The mulch was dumped on the driveway by the company you purchased it from. The quality was not that great and that is why it is a bit cheaper. We don't like to over fill your beds with mulch. Too much mulch in beds around the house is not good. It should stay at or just below the brick line. Thanks for your business!!"
"We are an equal opportunity company. We hire based on qualification, not color, race, religion, etc. Did you try talking to the crew that showed up? If you would have, you would see that they are a great group of guys and gals. We do have one employee that has a tattoo on his face. The majority of the crew that did the work at your house were African American. That does not make them scary. Our employees are professional, courteous and wear the company uniforms. I am not sure where you got the information that hauling away the debris was part of the package. It clearly states in the deal that haul away is extra. We do usually have a foreman or two who will show up to job sites. At times they sit in their vehicle and do paperwork or on the phone with customers. We do not charge for their time. It does not come off of the man hours that was purchased."
The day the work was to be performed, Emes Landscaping was punctual. They arrived with 2 teams of 8 people. They were very organized, each person knowing what they were to do. I was very pleased with the end result. The back hill off of my deck looked so inviting and a perfect oasis to relax. Instead of bees and other unwanted insects we are now visited by the most gorgeous butterflies. They love the lovely perennials that were planted. Emes was creative and really helped me with pricing, as they knew I was getting ready to list my home. The house sold immediately! Thank you Emes!
"We apologize for the communication issues. We did have some issues with our phone system and messages. We have met with our phone provider rep and taken care of these issues. We did better communicating via email as that was up and running fine. We left a message on our voice mail to communicate via email if there was an issue with the phone communication for this reason. In any case, the issue has been resolved and should not be a problem any more. As you could see from the actual service, we strive to make our customers happy and we do a pretty good job at it. Thanks\ you for your business!"
"Please read the storefront deal. It states that the hours bought are man hours. It explains that for a 4 hour package the man hours means 1 worker for 4 hours, 2 workers for 2 hours, 4 worker for 1 hour etc. If we came with 4 workers and worked for over an hour, you got the full 4 hour package plus some extra time. Sometimes customers buy a 4 hour package but the work the customer wants done takes longer. In that case, as the deal states, we charge for the additional hours. There are time the customer does not want to pay for additional hours so the workers need to rush the job to try to get it complete in the time given. They may overlook some things or not be able to pay attention to details as they normally would had they had the time to do so. We hope you understand that we try to do a thorough and complete job but sometimes it takes more time than was purchased. We try to explain that to the customer when that happens. We are not trying to get more money out of it, we are just trying to do a great job. Thank you for your business."
"This customer had us come out and do a large job. As part of the job he wanted us fix an area of his yard. We gave him our professional opinion of how to take care of the problem. He had his own idea and wanted us to do it his way. We complied. He then paid us for the work by check. His check came back NSF. We tried getting in touch with him. He ended up calling us back after a while because the fix we did his way did not work. He admitted that he should of had us do it they way we suggested. In good faith, we came back out and fixed the issue from scratch. He then refused to pay for the fix. We ended up agreeing to split the cost. It then took us another 4-5 months after to get paid. He then wanted us to do more work and continued upkeep. We politely turned it down. We try very hard to make our customers happy. We work with our customers and bend over backwards. In this case we actually took a loss over all."
"We apologize for the bad experience! This is not acceptable to our company. We have back tracked to see who originally handled your job and we have taken action to assure that this does not happen again. If for some reason any of our customers are not happy with their job or experience, please send us an email at [email protected] and we will respond and make it right. Our number one goal is customer satisfaction. We will go out of our way to make that happen. We understand that there are other companies that you could use but you chose to use ours. We are grateful for that and would love to make you happy and keep your business. Thanks you!"
They were very nice to work with; removed the tree and shrubs very quickly and neatly.
I would use them again but I am not in their service area; used an Angie's online coupon which
really helped.
Emes Lawn Care cut down huge honeysuckle in front yard, created a bed, and planted 5 endless summer hydrangea. Added mulch, trimmed honeysuckle along driveway, cleaned gutters in house and garage and purchased timed water box and sprinkler.
Went above and beyond by stopping to manually water the hydrangea before automatic timed sprinkler could be found and installed. Installation of sprinkler was tricky and they persevered until the final solution was reached. All this with good humor.
I would highly recommend them and plan to use their services again. Special thanks to Mike and his dedication to his calling.
