We called in the height of the cold snap as our furnace had a part that was going bad and the price was not worth putting into an old furnace. The salesman came the next day, took into account the sort of furnace we were looking for and did not try to push us into frills that we did not want. We were scheduled for installation the next week (as folks were without heat, and we were not) but we were to be pushed to the top of the list if our heat went out. Installers came within 15 minutes of promised time and worked straight through until job done, except for a 20 minute lunch break. They were professional and courteous. The price was nearly $1000 less than the next closest competitor for the same furnace to be installed. It works well and we are pleased with the furnace and the service.

Our heat pump system began to fail this winter. We called Crane and a leading competitor in our area give opinions to repair or replace. Both companies recommended it was time to replace our aging system. Crane's estimate was far below the competition; as expected. A small army of employees arrived a couple days later. They completed the work over two days, while ensuring we had heat overnight. All employees were very professional and diligent in completing all work needed. They gave honest opinions and recommendations for maintaining our new system and properly heating our home.

It was a positive experience. They are reliable; there were some issues with the work that they did originally and they came back and kept on trying to rectify it and they did resolve it. I thought they were good and reliable, and knew what they were talking about.

lThe woman who answered the phone was very friendly, and called to let me know the tech would be arriving late, but he showed up within the specified time block.  He took the time to explain to me what he was doing.  They could have easily ripped me off, but instead found the problem to be a flame sensor that needed to be sanded off.  I was only charged the $130 for the tech to show up.  I highly recommend Crane Heating and A/C.

Serviced my Air Conditioner promptly and professionally.  Gave unsolicited advice on how to gain better efficiency our of my unit.  Scheduled visit from voice mail left the night before.  Very happy with service, will use again should the need arise!  Price of the service call was fair and competitive.  Price of part seemed high, but not much I can do about that!

We have a service contract with them and they come out twice a year to maintain our air conditioner. We pay once a year, which includeds a furnace cleaning in the fall and a air conditioning check in the spring. They came out to clean the air conditioner one spring and noticed that the motor was broken. They ordered the part for us under warrenty and installed it the next day.

We found their sticker on the heater when we moved in 5 years ago. We called them the 1st year to come and clean it and they do call us twice a year, each time they come they are prompt, efficient, they do a very good job. Their prices are very reasonable.

I called on Wednesday. Immediately after I called, a Crane technician showed up at my house. He looked at my outside unit and said "Yep, it's frozen. I'll have to come back after it thaws. That will be $95, but I will be back tomorrow to continue work". I waited most of Thursday for someone to show and at 3:30, Crane called and said he could not make it today. Crane said someone would come Friday, but they were a no-show. The office is closed on the weekend. On Monday, I called and Crane said he could come out Tuesday. As this was the third change, I just asked for my $95 back and I will find someone else. The phone operator put me on the phone with Mr. Crane and he said that he would not refund any money and that service call is $95.

THEY GAVE ME ONE ESTIMATE ON THE PHONE AND WHEN THEY CAME OUT AND PREFORMED THE WORK THEY CHARGED ME DOUBLE THE PRICE
