The repairman arrived the next day and replaced the damaged down track being careful to check the alignment so that the door would descend easily. He reanchored the down track and did minor repairs on the splintered wood. He was pleasant to deal with and competent in his work.

I purchased the special coupon on Angie's list and the next day received a call from the company to set up an appointment. We scheduled one for the very next day and they said they would call and give me a window the next morning. The next morning they called and gave me a window of between 12-4. I was home when the repair man called and he came right along and was finished within an hour. No money exchanged hands and I didn't have to show anything. Very pleasant experience. Would love all my repairs calls to go so well.

Service folks from Cincinnati Door and Opener came out to check things out. My husband was there and said they were very professional and friendly and did an outstanding job. They got one opener working again, but had to replace the second one. Our house has two different brands of openers. They also helped us out with the rubber piece that fits under the bottom of the garage door and acts like a seal. Before that, we could see gaps. They came back with a new opener, and the seal for the bottom of the door. My husband told me they were great, and to make sure they get an A++. He was very pleased. The unit they installed works great and it is very quiet. We are extremely pleased with the performance of both doors, and the service we received. We also thought the price was very fair.

I was able to make the appointment for the same day that I placed the service call, and the technician arrived on time. He immediately explained the problem to me. When I asked if it made sense to replace the garage door opener instead of repairing this one, he told me it made more sense to fix it, which was a much cheaper alternative to a new model. I was able to use an Angie's List coupon as well. My only minor complaint is with the price. The $95 service call seems a little high to me. However, overall, I was very happy with the experience and would use Cincinnati Door & Opener again.

Excellent, prompt, professional service. The door now operates very smoothly......actually it is much quieter and closes better than when it was new! The warranty on the springs is 5 years. The work was outstanding.

After Cincinnati Door's initial visit, the windows were installed within two weeks. It was cold outside and the guys worked as fast as they could to get the old windows out and the new ones in. They cleaned up after themselves and left my home as it was when they arrived.

Top shelf service. I called on a Saturday morning at 10:30 AM. They were there in an hour and in and out in 30 minutes. Very polite and professional. Service man reminded me of the Angie's list coupon and saved me $10. Individual had 26 years of garage door experience. Also came with five year warranty on parts and service.This is who I'm calling the next time an issue comes up.

The Installer arrived on time, was very professional, knowledgeable about working with older homes. He explained all that he needed to do, and was very efficient. He was very professional and easy to work with. All mess was cleaned up and removed. He also educated us on using the system. I would definitely use this company again.

My garage door was haunted-it would raise and lower on it's own which is not a happy feeling in the middle of the night! Yesterday morning at 5 am it acted like it was possessed! I called Cincinnat Door & Opener about 9 am and they offered to get a service person there by noon! Unfortunately I couldn't get away from work so we made an appointment for the following afternoon. My service tech, Greg, called before coming out to the house. He arrived right on time and diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes. A copper bar inside the garage door opener was bent in a way that was activating the garage door. He replaced both door openers, lubricated the track on the opener (it was really noisy), fixed the wall plate with the door opener button and was finished within 15 minutes. He was a really nice guy and explained his reasons for everything he did. Everyone I dealt with from my very first call was polite, friendly and very helpful. I used this company 4 yrs ago when my door spring disintegrated and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. they are the epitome of excellent service! I also appreciated the $10 of my bill from my Angie's list coupon!

originally I called Cincinnati Door and Opener to get an estimate to fix a 4 yr old garage door opener that has been trouble from the get go. After talking to Steve my husband and i decided to purchase a whole new opener. The price was fair, and the appointment was made immediately. We received a Marantec opener, 2 remotes, and a keyless entry system. The tech was prompt and courteous. Both Greg and Steve were very knowledgeable about the system and even programmed the ihome in my new car! WE LOVE THE NEW OPENER! WHY DIDNT WE CHANGE IT OUT SOONER? we recommend them, and would purchase from them again!

The installation of my new 1/2 HP garage door opener took about one hour. After the installation, he programmed the two openers (that you keep in the car) and the remote pad (on the outside of the garage door). All old equipment was taken away. I was also able to use my $10 Angie's List coupon. I was given a 3-hour time frame for when the technician would arrive and he arrived towards the end of that 3-hour slot. He left the owners manual with me and emphasized that I should fill out the warranty card and mail it in to the manufacturer. He was very nice, polite, and respectable.

installer went above and beyond the call of duty. job was just performed only a week ago, so i can't confirm any long term experience at this time...but so far, so good.

I called Cincinnati Door & Opener (513) 821-5095 on a Saturday morning and spoke with a representative because one of the springs broke on my garage door. I told him that one spring broke and the other looked just as rusty. He gave me a price ($200 to replace both springs) and scheduled a repair man to come to my house that day. A repair man came out that day (Saturday) to replace the springs at the agreed upon price ($200). He told me that the chain was sagging on my opener and that usually means that the opener is getting near the end of its life. He tightened the chain and the opener did not work. I was not surprised that the door opener's motor was dead since it is the original opener installed when I built the house 21 years ago. The repairman offered several openers with different prices and warranties. I chose the most expensive one ($350 installed) with the lifetime warranty I had previously priced similar openers at Lowe's and Home Depot and they were about $250 plus installation. What I also like about this opener is that it has a motor that is too quiet to hear when it operates. The repair man came back on Monday to replace the opener. He made my stop his last one so I would be home when he finished. He showed me how to operate the door and the new keypad opener and explained how I could change codes. He cleaned up very well and removed all of the old parts. I would recommend Cincinnati Door to anyone.

We spoke to 3 or 4 companies by phone; this one made the best impression--- the person we spoke to listened well, had the technical knowledge to answer our questions, and sounded realistic. His estimate for the work we wanted wasn't the lowest we got, but not he highest either. And we liked that both parts and labor are guaranteed (5 years). The service rep arrived within the predicted window of time and had with him everything he needed for the job. He was polite & professional, but perhaps less knowledgeable than the man on the phone...we think he's fairly new. He had trouble with the job; some part of the original mechanism apparently had been installed in a non-standard way, which required that the new springs be handled differently than usual. The job took 2 hours instead of 40 minutes, but when finished, the door functioned perfectly. The rep then lubricated the rollers to make the door run quietly. We've had no trouble with it since the repair. The charge was about $30 more than the esitmate; we asked about the difference and accepted his explanation that it was for the extra time. But he then phoned his boss, who evidently said to stick with the original quote, so he revised the invoice and we paid the lower amount--we were very impressed with that.

From making the appointment and getting an estimate all the way through to installing my door, this company made it easy. Each person I spoke to or interacted with was courteous, prompt and informed.On the day of installation, the technician called ahead to give an eta of 2 hours or less (he actually arrived well within that timeframe). The work was very labor intensive and continued for the better part of what can only be described as an oppressively hot (upper 90's) and humid day. In spite of these less-than-comfortable working conditions, he remained very pleasant. His exacting workmanship shows and my new garage door looks like it was installed by a professional. I knew my garage door opener would have to be replaced; Steve at CDO talked to me about various options, not pushing any, but giving me complete prices and $10 off for being an Angie's List member. The next morning, I received a call that someone would be out between 9-11; at 9:10 the young man showed up, starting working, and was finished by 10:30. He showed me how to operate everything and provided me with user's manuals. He was helpful, polite, and professional, and there were no "surprise" charges. I was very pleased with service received and would highly recommend the company.

I got the estimate from the company last fall. I called to get an updated estimate this spring and the numbers were unchanged. We ordered the new items and scheduled our install for a week later. The installer called to give me a window, showed up on time, got to work and was finished in less than 4 hours. Everything was cleaned, tested and old products were removed. He was friendly and professional. Gave my husband and I a demo of the new products. Vince, Steve and Greg were all great.

My garage door opener suddenly died on 5/18/10. I called CD&O. We talked. They said they could send someone out to look at it on 5/19, but in case it wasn't repairable, they gave me prices on a replacement. The repairman was to call on 5/19 between 8 - 9 AM. He called at 8:09 AM. He said he would be at my house between 9-10 AM. He arrived shortly after 9 AM. We talked. He opened and looked at the opener. He said he could order a board that should fix it. I said that if he would have to order this board and the repair may not be the best in the long run, I would prefer to have him install the new opener. It was installed as estimated. The repairman was done within an hour or so. Wow! What a great customer experience.

Discovered garage door springs were broken early on a Saturday morning. Called Cincinnati Door and Window for service. They advised the technition would arive in about 2 hours. He beat that time and completed the rplacement job promptly.

They came out for the service and gave me advice to repair the garage door myself. They were also very courteous.
