Excellent job on the tub, it looks like new. All work was completed as scheduled and everything was cleaned up at the end of the job.

It was absolutely amazing. The tub was disgusting with mold and mildew and rust stains. The caulking was black and so gross. When Doug was finished I thought he installed a brand new tub. It is white and shiny again. The caulk is clean and expertly done. The process took 6 hours but his work is amazing. This reglazing is a perfect solution for older homes and bathtubs.

Retracting and revising a prior review that had regarded response to my initial inquiry about refinishing a stall shower floor. Vendor had responded by email and an apparent email issue had the reply go undetected at my end.
In any event, a followup by phone ensued and contact has been made. The work is now pending as we exchange information.

It was in pretty bad shape and it looks like a brand new tub now. He was very courteous, kind, and respectful of our home. He cleaned up like it was his own home. He was very nice about calling to let me know he was on his way. He was a very nice person to deal with, and the tub looks fantastic.

Tub looks brand new! Turned out extremely well. The only hiccup was the bedroom window, needed open for equipment, was left open when he left, and air conditioner was running all day. That was minor. Overall, the experience was a good one. My daughter is very happy with the way it turned out and it saved us from having to rip out a tub and try to find another one to fit in this older home. It's not a cheap solution, but we believe this was definitely the way to solve the problem and this tub was very cruddy--finish was rough and we tried everything to get it clean...it was futile! This service made it look like a brand new tub! He was prompt, professional, and did a great job! We highly recommend the service and the service provider and would hire him again.

There is a reason Doug schedules three weeks ahead. He does GREAT work, is professional, punctual and meticulous. I can see why he is so busy. Really an outstanding service provider. We are preparing our house for sale and I have had many vendors helping us get ready to put it on the market. Doug's service is beyond compare. My only complaint which he can't do a THING about is the fumes that arise with the reglazing. Doug vented everything outside as much as possible and kept the bathrooms sealed and doors closed--it just can't be helped.
A noteworthy point: we were quoted a price without a visit by Doug to assess how much work he would have to do. The job was more involved than he thought it would be and took three days rather than the estimated two days. He charged us only a small amount more than the estimate--probably only enough to cover gas money to come out!

It took me a few attempts to get Doug on the phone, but once we connected, it was smooth sailing. Doug prepped and sealed the tile and tub over two days. I was impressed by his attention to detail. Most of the labor was in prep - much less in the actual painting - and Doug kept everything as clean as possible. All in all, a great experience.

considered a tub and tile liner but didn?t like what we read online about the process and about the cost. Also, we have a window above the tub and didn?t want to block it.
We checked Angie?s List and found Cincinnati Bathtub & Tile Reglazing and saw the great reviews. I called and talked to Doug and scheduled a date to have the tub and all the wall tiles reglazed. We wanted the tub and tile done in white because we thought that wouldn?t become dated and it would give us more options with adding color accents. We removed the toilet, vanity and sink for easy access, since we were replacing those units anyway. Doug was on time, courteous and professional. It took him one and one half days to complete the job and we are ecstatic with the results. We went from being embarrassed to have guests in the bathroom to showing off our new bathroom.

The job went very smoothly. Doug was at my home on time, around 8:30 and left around 3:00. He brought all his equipment in and proceeded to immediately begin work on removing the old caulk around the floor and at the top around the tile. To control the dust from the abrasive he uses to clean the old surface, he masked everything off and vented the hose to an outside window in the bathroom. From that point on I never checked on what he was doing until late afternoon when he said he wanted me to look at the tub.The tub looked brand new and after he allowed time for the epoxy finish to harden he then caulked the tub around the floor. When that was done he gave me instructions for caring for the new finish and explained the warranty which is five years. He also said not to use the tub 16 hours to let the finish completely harden. The thing that really impressed me was there was no dust or dirt anywhere. The bathroom was completely clean just as it was when he arrived.

Expensive, but an excellent job. My claw foot bathtub now looks like a brilliant new white tub. You can't tell it was ever orange.

What an incredible job Doug did in our home. It is an amazing job. Doug brought in all of his own equipment in an orderly and cleanly fashion. He even had his own fan to blow dust from the work out the window. He spent the time required to take of decades of soap scum from the bathtub. His thoroughness in maintaining the original tile design from 1940 is remarkable. My painter couldn't believe it was not new tile. Thank you Doug for your great work!

Doug was very patient with us from the beginning as we had to reschedule twice due to a stomach bug that was going around our house. He spent a lot of time prepping and refinishing our tub and it shows. The tub looks brand new and we couldn't be happier with Doug's work. When finished, Doug reviewed care and cleaning instructions to ensure the new finish lasts beyond the 5 year guarantee.

The communication leading up to the event was fantastic. Doug was prompt with returning all of my messages. The day before he was supposed to come over, our tenants informed us they wouldn't be able to be in the house as originally planned that morning, so I left the key in the mailbox, check on the fridge, and a message for Doug telling him of the situation. He arrived the next morning and was able to perform his work without any issues. My tenants and I were all very impressed with the glazing job and how clean everything was when he was completed.

As both had been refinished in the past, he quoted us on stripping the sink and tub, and then reglazing them. He gave us a firm date and instructions on prepping the bathroom.
Doug arrived promptly on the date we selected, and very meticulously taped off the rest of the bathroom so as not to get it dirty, get overspray, or otherwise harm it. He was even able to strip the tub without removing the fixtures, which we had decided to keep. We checked in on Doug from time to time and it was apparent his attention to detail was amazing.
The entire process took about six hours, start to finish, for the tub. The sink top he took back to his shop to reglaze there, which he returned the following week. The finished product was simply amazing compared to what it was before - it looks like a brand new tub and sink.
Needless to say we were very pleased to have a brand new looking bathroom for far, far less than it would have cost us had we purchased a new clawfoot tub and a new pedastal sink. We highly recommend this company and its services. Rarely does one run across a contractor who is this up-front, honest, and dedicated to quality work.
