Description of Work: Replaced rear double patio door. They found rotted floor but did not alert us. Instead installed the door on top. Had to come out numerous times to fix. Once "done", you could still see light under the door from in the basement. Ended up fixing myself. For the price good product, but horrible installation. Felt lied to and cheated.

Description of Work: All windows replaced, inside garage door and front entry door. We informed them upfront if they tried hardsell we would not use them, they sent Camille who is a supervisor and was wonderful to work with. We requested flush sills sinse we wanted to frame out windows and they did a great job. All done in one day.

Description of Work: Dear Customer Service, I scheduled an in-home consultation to potentially get my front exterior door replaced. The representative did arrive at 7PM. When he arrived, I asked since this is a non-Champion door, can the damaged frame just be repaired? He said no and walked away and got inside his car. I thought he was going to explain why or offer different options. I tried to wave him down to ask if the door can be replaced but he kept driving. I was surprised and shocked. He did not give me his name or business card. I hope this not how Champion does business.

Description of Work: Champion installed a beautiful patio room on our existing deck. The deck was almost UN-usable before we got the room due to high winds and other weather conditions. Our room is comfortable year-round, even on the coldest winter days. It's a great place to relax without weather worries. Our home is much more energy efficient to as it protects the back of our home too. Other than washing the windows and cleaning, there is no maintenance. This is our second patio room installation and we know Champion will be around for any warranty work in the future.

Description of Work: Had a 3-season patio room added to the back of our house on top of an existing wood deck. Had it installed a good 10+ years ago.

Description of Work: Tore off and replaced my roof. Most expensive of the three quotes I got but the transferrable lifetime (pro-rated after 50 years) warranty on materials and labor was worth it to me. Salesperson was very professional and educational, I liked the demonstrations and being able to see what you are paying for. If you aren't planning to stay in your house for a very long time you may be fine with a less expensive roof.

Description of Work: They replaced a side door with a high end door with internal blinds. This is our 3rd set of doors Champion has installed. They are a bit pricy when you compare other brands, but do offer lifetime warranty which has paid off on the other doors. Their communication can be better and it took a number of tries to get appointment date/time confirmations. They did show up on time, were very professional and did a quality job.

Description of Work: They installed 3 glass block windows and a double pane French Door with inner blinds in the basement.They also installed a solarium storm door.They did an excellent job and corrected minor issues promptly and courteously.

Description of Work: We purchased screen/storm doors and had Champion install them. Initially, a representative came out to the house to measure the door frames to ensure the doors were made to the correct dimensions. It took a little longer than expected for the doors to come in, but once they were in, they were installed almost immediately. Unfortunately, we realized, after installation, that the screen door for our front door was the wrong model and did not include the upper vent that we had requested and paid for. Instead of replacing the door, a different representative came out, cut the door and installed a vent. While I was disappointed that the door was not originally installed as we had requested, I was pleased with the work around.

Description of Work: Installed 13 windows. It was great. They arrived when they said they would, took down and rehung my window treatments, put down tarps to protect the floors, cleaned up when through and all worked fine.

Description of Work: We received an estimate from Champion, prior to having the work done. Their estimate was accurate, and they were very good about scheduling the work and showing up when scheduled. We had a Patio Room put on. The work was performed about April 2010. I would definitely give the company and A, and have recommended them to many people. We were initially very happy with the room (and still are), but it's the aftercare that really stood out. At about the 6 month mark we noticed holes in two of the screens, that looked like the roll of screening had laid in something caustic - there were a line of holes developing. We called, and it was no questions asked, they replaced them for free. At the one year mark there was a problem with the joint on the roof, and again they came out (there was a piece of caulking missing) and fixed the whole thing for free and there was no insinuation that it wasn't there fault but something we did. It just made the whole thing a good experience. Because of this (the service), we have had them do other work on the house, and the level of service has been the same.

Description of Work: Installed a gabled roof over my deck. Squared off the deck and installed posts to support the gabled roof. Installed 4 sky lights in the new roof and installed gutters and downspouts on the new roof over. |I am very happy with my shingled gable roof/deck cover. It allows so much more use of the deck which got afternoon sun.

Description of Work: Complete tear off and replaced roof in less than a day. Still waiting for other half of job to be completed (new soffit, gutters w/guards, siding, and shutters) Job scheduled for early fall.
