Tech arrived quickly and preformed the job well also, gave us great advice.

They were very knowledgeable and helpful.

They try very hard to sell you services that you do not need.

I called them because I was a part of their Home gimmick. My AC circuit breaker kept popping on my panel. They sent a guy out and he hooked up to my AC unit outside and told me my compressor was no good. I needed to pay $5000-$8000 to get another AC unit. Then I looked up online what causes CB to pop on the AC. Top three were air filter dirty, AC unit dirty or CB is bad. (Not compressor) so I looked at all that and found that my CB wire going into the CB was not tight. Works like a champ now. Do not allow them into your house. They give you that free easy feeling of wanting to help. Then they set it up to get a whole replacement system. You have been warned.

They installed 2 new lights on either side of my front door. Did a great job. Looks good!

*****Buyer Beware***** I learned the hard way that this company quotes extremely high prices up front and expects you to negotiate the price down. I paid $5800 for a water heater that I purchased from Apollo and later learned that I paid waaay too much. If I would have taken the time to get another quote I could have saved a couple thousand dollars. Don't make the same mistake I did!! Not only did I pay way too much for the water heater, but Apollo also quoted me $2100 to do a drain rebuild in my kitchen. Thank goodness I got another quote. I ended up paying around $500 for the same drain rebuild through Dupps Plumbing. Dupps Plumbing is an honest company that does great work. Call Dupps instead and thank me later!!

They failed to arrive within the two hour time window and provided no communication.

First night and $19k system is throwing errors and doesn’t work. They want me to stay home from work and wait for a tech to come. Run from this company it is not family owned anymore and is a large corporation that does not care about anything but ripping people off.

The technician was very profesional and answer all my questions. But the quote was more than three times the price of the lowest competitor and more than twice to all other estimates from others companies.

Apollo Home attempts to price gouge for unnecessary work to the extreme with unsuspecting customers. I had a clog right in my main sewer line. I called them because they had a promotion for an $94 drain cleaning with a "free camera" inspection. 1st guy tried running his snake and claims he had trouble and almost got it stuck so they get their camera guy out. He puts his camera down there and they try to tell me that the 90 degree elbow to the sewer line is bad. They quoted me $3,175 to fix it. I also wanted to have a main line valve replaced and they wanted to charge over $1,200 for that. I told them no thanks, I'd get a second quote. I call another company and explain the situation and they agree to do the work for 1/3 of the price (I didn't give them Apollo's quote), which entailed breaking open the basement floor to replace a 90 degree elbow. The other company ends up breaking through the basement floor to try to replace the supposed bad elbow. They tell me this actually didn't need to be done after looking at the elbow. It was clogged up with some concrete pieces (how that got there is another story). He tells me it really just needed more heavy auguring / snaking. Bottom line, Apollo was just trying to get me to cough up over $3k just for unnecessary work instead of actually trying to simply clean it out.

So disappointed found problem too expensive to fix we are senior citizens. Left behind a mess for us saying “Not our Job!”

I was asked by customer service to delete my original review but I’m reposting it because people deserve to understand what value (or lack thereof) they get for their money. I called Apollo last month when a drain in my basement backed up. Before they came over, I spent about 2 hours cleaning it up. When they showed up, they told me to empty the tub, run my bathroom sink and flush the toilet. I told them I was worried about doing so because if there was a clog, it would back the drain up again, but they told me it should be fine, and, of course, it flooded again, making the cleaning I did that morning completely pointless. They asked to use my shopvac to clean it up and I allowed them to because I figured they must not have one of their own, and I wanted my basement clean again. That shopvac won’t run properly now. When they ran a camera through my sewage line, I learned I needed to get it replaced because it was collapsing in my front yard. I made an appointment to have it excavated/replaced. I was working the day of the appointment and when I got home I found that my basement had been flooded with muddy brown water, far worse than the 2 previous times. Come to find out, they hit my WATER line when excavating my sewage line, and no one from Apollo bothered to tell me about it. They did send a restoration crew to clean it though. I only found out because of the flood and because I called to complain. Last year, I got the bushes ripped out on the front of my house and had them completely replaced with mulch beds and landscape stones. A large potion of the mulch bed was destroyed. I understand that was unavoidable, but you can see in the pictures what my entire yard looked like afterward even though I was told I would only have a mound of dirt directly over where the sewage line was that I’d have to worry about leveling out. I did call and complain about all this and the person I spoke to on the phone said they were going to have a landscaper come out and fix it around the end of March/beginning of April. I called a few days ago to ask why it hadn’t been fixed yet and they said they had someone scheduled to come out in MAY... I also complained that I could still hear my pipes making gurgling noises which I was told was an indication of the collapsing sewage line that I already had completely replaced. They were trying to schedule a time to come back out and look at it AGAIN, but I chose to ignore them after a day because at this point, I am seriously traumatized by the stress this company has caused me. After dealing with them this most recent time, it threw me into a panic attack where I couldn’t function. I just want all of this to be over with and I can’t handle it anymore. On top of that, I decided to go out to my yard today to try to level down the mound of dirt to little avail, although I did find massive pieces of my old broken pipe strewn throughout all the dirt. I know they’re offering to fix this, but at this point, like I said, I am so upset with them that I do not even want to talk to them on the phone or see them because it stresses me out to deal with them so badly. I live alone and work long hours and trying to undo what they did is going to use the majority of my free time this spring. So if you have any respect for your property and your home, do not hire Apollo.Thanks for offering to fix these issues but it’s too little too late. EDIT: After posting this, I went back outside and my neighbors came out to help. 3 adults, a total of about 3 hours of work with a tiller, shovels and iron rakes and we barely put a dent in it. They said they were home watching during the excavation and asked themselves why Apollo wasn’t hauling any of this dirt away. Good question! You know the work is beyond unacceptable when people who weren’t even involved can look at my yard and tell me to my face that it looks horrible and that they can’t believe it was left in such horrible condition. If you’re gonna fix my yard, just show up and do it because I can’t handle speaking to you all anymore. I’ll take this down if it gets done.

Went great

This company has pre-defined estimates for any given service, irrespective of complexity or simplicity of the actual work. They quoted us nearly $9,000 for a water heater replacement. When I balked at the estimate, they actually got defensive and downright rude about it. I would never recommend this company to anyone for any kind of work. They overcharge by 3x what we ultimately paid. Our actual water heater replacement, including a high quality water heater AND labor, was just under $3,000 through another service and it was done with fantastic service and quality of work.

My very elderly mother called for a cleaning of her heater. She has previously used another company that treated her well and I could not say why she called Apollo this time. She has no problems with her furnace, this is only a cleaning. The man who came told her she had a gas leak! He went on to say that it is urgent that she get a new unit quickly and would have someone come out in the morning to take care of that. She said he was very pushy and did not answer her questions. She has all this written in her bill. She did not feel good about this, and called her usual company (Adams), she explained what was said, and they said they placed her furnace and wanted to know if they shut off her gas since they claimed she has a leak. NO they did NOT! IF she truly had a gas leak, they would have to cut off her gas for her safety. Adams technician came out the same day, and said no she does not have a gas leak, and her unit has about 10-15 years life in i!. In addition, he had to clean her furnace again, as it was done so poorly a few hours earlier by the Apollo technician. Who treats the elderly like this? Who tries to scam with fear of an explosion? Apollo does! Do not use this company unless you want to be taken on a ride. 1 star is too many.

Don’t do it!! Horrible company. I had my ac just stop out of nowhere a fews months ago. They had a tech come out real quick. He said his first instinct was a fuse was out. He came back to me after 20 minutes saying that I needed a whole replacement. That the system was failing. Blah blah blah Did a switch to show me the fuse is kicking off. But seemed off. He set me up for next day salesmen meetup. Super quick. Salesman comes the next day. Very nice. But starts checking everything out but just giving me car salesman vibes. Looking at the furnace. “Oh yeah. She’s had a good life” Tries to then sell me a whole system for $13,000!!! My father had just gotten one for $6000 recently. I told home I’d think about it and that I don’t make decisions like that without doing research. He didn’t like that at all. After he left. I went to the store and bought fuses for my ac unit. $20. $20. Worth a shot right?!! Trust your gut. Well it worked. And kept working. Haven’t had an issue since. Don’t use Apollo. Please. I beg you. Don’t. Use Apollo.
