The first spring broke on a Saturday and the technician was able to come out and fix it so I was able to go to work the next day.  The 2nd happened only 5 days later and they gave us a discount since they had just been out to the house.  They were quick and courteous and we couldn't be happier with the services provided.

The estimate process was fine. Easy and straightforward. When I called to schedule the work however it was a disaster getting my sales rep to respond and set things in motion. The installation itself went smoothly and the we are very pleased with the product, but the total lack of professionalism by our sales person was infuriating. I had to reach out to him 4 times to get things in motion. It was ridiculous. We have worked with AE previously, on a repair and it went flawlessly, so I have to think we just got a total dud sales person. "We have been really busy" is not an excuse to out returning my calls for weeks.

I was having problems with doors - they were noisy and one would not stay closed.  I had adjusted chain tension on doors myself and problems were still occuring.  Tech arrived on time and got everything in working order in about a half hour.  After he left I tried to open the door that previously would not stay closed and it got stuck half way up.  I immediately called A&E and Tech promptly returned to my house.  It turned out that the gears inside that opener were about to fail and were losing their settings whenever the door was opened or closed.  He replaced the gear assemblage and got the door in perfect working order

I placed an email message to them via Angie's List.  I determined I didn't need emergency service so just went this route (Saturday)  I received a call Monday morning and the service man was out to my house and had the door repaired by 10:30 AM.  They are GREAT!!!  I even thought I'd have them replace the garage door opener since it is 13 years old... they recommended I just wait until it broke.  Now that I see how prompt and what great service they give, I will order from them because I know they will be out immediately to fix/replace it when the time comes.  THANKS AE Door!!

Very pleasant experience overall.  Salesman in showroom was very knowledgeable.  We got a 10% discount for paying cash but their prices are pretty high.  The front door installer was on time but he worked alone so he had to wait for someone to come and help him unload the door from his truck.  While he waited, he removed old door and did all the necessary prep work.  The garage door installer was a little late but still finished in good time.  Very satisfied with the product and the installations.
