Ace Exterminating

I brought in a plantar that had a birds nest in it over the winter. I had good intentions? but low and behold come May when I placed the plantar back outside, I was receiving bug bites. I had been working on clearing up various bugs for 5 months or so. 
My situation was really strange because the behavior of the bug was like a bed bug? however, I never saw signs of bed bugs! I contacted Ace Exterminating via Angie's List because of their great reviews. 
Rich read my details and right away saw that I didn't have bed bugs at all, he said I likely had bird mites.
He went on to tell me that pest control companies couldn't offer an effective solution. He told me how I could best work on it daily myself? (which is still a tall task!) He continued to answer my questions and requests for his opinion for over a month.
This is a knowledgeable and dedicated company! Very trustworthy, I so appreciate it!

I had a problem with ants and they sprayed the interior of the house. The service went well. I was very pleased with them.

They do a good job and respond quickly. We’ve had a couple issues and they would come out the next day. Response time is excellent. Their technicians are very good and friendly. They come in, do the job, and ask questions.

The specialist was prompt, courteous and professional. I'll use Ace again.

He came when scheduled, was very nice and informative. Returned in August for quarterly treatment outside of house. Pretty much eliminated carpenter ants.  Did not require a signed contract to return quarterly for approximately $98 visit.

I called and used an Angie's List Deal to have Ace Exterminating come out and get rid of the small black ants in our kitchen.  We were having company over on Friday and the ants were climbing all over the kitchen counters and cabinets and I couldn't get rid of them with the home remedies that I had read about on the web.  I had tried lemon and cinnamon, but they were still trooping in.  
I called Ace on Thursday July 10 and the person on the phone was really helpful, professional and understanding of my need for a quick solution.   First thing Friday morning, July 11, Lonnie came and explained everything very clearly.  With his flashlight he showed me how to trace the line of ants back to the nest which was on our neighbor's property, not ours.  He then applied Maxforce Quantum Ant Bait in our kitchen in one small drop on the window sill and around the back door and then out by the garage.  The ants are attracted to it and take it back to the nest to the queen and she dies and then the ant colony dies or moves or whatever. Sure enough within a day or two no more ants.
 To this day, August 20, still no small black ants.
But now we have mice !!!

It went fine. I had ants. The tech was very nice but I didn’t feel like I got a lot of information about what was causing the problem, and what I could do to get rid of the issue in the future. They had a great turnaround in getting me on the schedule and I do believe they temporarily fixed my issue.

They did a great job it will be an on going job as we live near a wooded area

The technician, Mark, was professional, prompt, and efficient.  He did a thorough assessment of our home, sprayed and put out ant traps, and told us some ways for us to take care of pests ourselves.  We were still having persistent ant problems over the next couple of weeks, and the company came back out and sprayed again, as included in their guarantee.  I would use this company again for any other problems we have.

They did a good job on the service. He even left me a bottle of spray that I could use if any pest show back up. I thought I paid them and then all of a sudden they charged me again. When I called them to inquire about it, the man I spoke with said that when someone works over time the customer has to pay for it. I spoke with someone else that was in charge about this afterwards and he said no they do not do that. They never gave me my money back and never really explained the charge either.

Excellent.  Have not seen paper wasps around my deck or mud dobbers since the treatment.

Initially had treatment done inside and outside. General treatment for spiders, ant, etc.. was done. For the inside initial treatment they were prompt and did a little extra outside for us - sprayed for wasps. Now they do treatments throughout the Spring thru Fall. Haven't had any issues.

I feel like it is working well so far.  The ants seem to be gone and the exterminator was quick and courteous.  They also gave me some free tips on getting rid of carpenter bees (which worked great).  Hopefully, the yearly package will help to continue to keep our bug problems at bay (especially during boxelder season).

Originally had scheduled the appointment for a week earlier, but it was very, very stormy that day.  Was able to call an hour before the appointment and change the day of service to a later date.  All services were provided as expected and seem to be bug free inside the house.
