"We received a request from the customer to cancel service in July when his contract expired. Our mistake was that we failed to make sure that our system did not automatically send out a renewal invoice. We originally installed his termite control product in July of 2017 which successfully stopped his termite issues. The renewal of the annual contract was due in July of 2018 and the account was canceled for non-payment but then reinstalled after we received payment on August 30th, 2018. The customer called us in November 2018 after his regular inspection of the termite bait stations and told us to cancel service because he was getting too many invoices. The so-called "invoices" he was receiving were for $0.00 and it was simply a notice left at his door to show we had been on site and completed the inspection. We explained to him that he was paid up thru July of 2019. We received a letter from the customer dated January 30th to cancel service at the end of the current renewal term which is July 2019. An Invoice was mailed June 2nd for his July 2019 contract renewal. The renewal invoice was mailed out prior to us canceling his account. We solved his termite issue as promised and notified him every time we stepped on his property. His misunderstanding of the $0.00 "invoice" hardly deserves an "F" rating."
"We did our best to help Mrs. [Member Name Removed]. She insisted we had only visited her home once, but on our second visit she even told the service specialist how unhappy she was with the work done by the first service specialist that visited her home and she even mentioned that service specialist by name. On our second visit our representative even went inside her house to check the rodent traps. Plus, our GPS system showed we were on her street on the service dates in our records. On the scheduled third visit we attempted to contact Mrs. [Member Name Removed] nearly a dozen times with no luck. We were not able to perform the third visit. It wasn't until many months later that Mrs. [Member Name Removed] recontacted our company asking for additional service. Most businesses do not provide an "open" agreement that allows a former customer to call back well after the initial treatments to request additional "free" services."
"Thank you for choosing us, [Member Name Removed]! It's so important to us we are there through every job. Please let us know if you need anything else!"
