This job went much faster and more complete then i expected.  We ware thrilled with the outcome.  Our back yard resembles a park now.  Before it was tall weeds, overgrown and dead woods area and very unattractive.

Hand down the best landscaping company I have ever used.  From the initial contact, design of project, estimates, time frame, and completion of project the service and professionalism were outstanding.  I have already asked them to add me to their annual contract list.

They referred me to the carpentry man and they did an amazing job.  I don't know if he works for them or with them.  Subnick is the carpenter.  My trellises are amazing and so beautiful.  I have a birdfeeder in the middle of each trellis and they are built with wood.  He also attached some hooks for my flowers and ferns, it's beautiful.  It was worth every bit of it.  He came out and built it right on site in one day.  If I did need some landscaping I would go back to them.  Next year when it is time for me to have mulch and all of that I'm going to them instead of the company I used this year.  I called them for the trellis and they are the ones that recommended Subnick but I give them the credit because the referral came through them.  I’m very pleased and anytime I need any carpentry I would use them.  Next year when it is time for my spring clean up, I'm going to see if that is something that they do.  Sometimes my neighbors have come across the street just to see the work.

They're wonderful. They are really good. Everything they did was really good. They come when they say they're gonna come. They do the job really good. They are reliable and everyone I talked to really likes the work that they do. They're  competitively priced. They're very, very professional.

Were some changes that were performed without our knowledge.  Resolved quickly and to satisfaction.  Good service and quality work.  Prompt and fast / clean .

What an incredibly positive experience we had with Landscape Creations Nursery.  We contacted Joanne and Peter, the owners, in the early spring and asked that they come to our house and discuss a backyard "renewal" project.  In other words, removing most of what was there and redesigning the beds with trees and plantings.
They came, took notes, then sent computer drawings of what it might look like.  In May when the weather was beginning to take on a spring appearance, we went to the nursery to look at the plant materials they had recommended.
Every step of the way was designd to give us an opportunity to let them know what we liked and did not like and what we could expect.  They were helpful in every segment of our discussions.  The weather finally improved enough so that they could plant and they came with their crew and oversaw the project.  Extra requests were met with positive replies and helpfulness.  Suggestions as to where things should be placed and then if we liked what they had done, were on-going.  The crew was professional and the work/clean-up was exceptional.  The yard looks beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the entire process.  If you want an imaginative design, excellent workmanship with wonderful people, you will want to contact LCN.

Oh my gosh! You have to hire these people! 
1. Pete and Joanne are master gardeners.Clearly, they are both extremely knowledgeable.
2. They care about their work product and customer service is very important to them. 

•      - They fixed some drain pipes from a prior landscaper because they were set too high. I did not ask them to do it. They did it because they felt it was the right thing to do as it was near some of the other work they did.
•      - They were very careful with the placement of each tree. 
•      - They used a special tractor with planks as to not tear-up our lawn. You can't even tell they were on our lawn. Amazing.
• 3. They have a seasoned and experienced crew. These are not guys they just picked-up for the summer. Everyone on their crew has been with them for many years. They each show the same pride of work that Pete and Joanne display.  Unlike some crews, these guys need very little direction because they are each so experienced themselves. I watched them through the entire process. To a person, they are very hard working and they are very dependable.

4. Nice, nice people. Pete, Joanne, and the entire crew. They worked on our home like it was their mother's house.

The Dautartases provide excellent work, and outstanding service and responsiveness.  They are higher-priced when compared to others who provide this service in my area.  But I hire them again and again and gladly pay a little more because 1) they respond when I call; 2) their crew is hard-working and respectful of my property; 3) they provide excellent design service; 4) they stand behind mistakes when they (very rarely) arise.

They did fabulous work.  We would use them again in the future and we would recommend them.  It was expensive but they were not the most expensive.  The price was fair as they did a lot of work.  They cleaned up all their mess.  They did exactly what they said they would do.  They did it well.  They were artists; they had an artistic vision and they were able to realize that.  They didn’t out price us and we got our money’s worth.

We were thrilled with Joanne, Peter, and the crew.  A pleasure from start to finish.  They were very willing to work within a budget we provided and we felt we got a lot of bang for our buck.  The crew was quick, efficient and kind even allowing our eager son to work alongside them for a short period of time.  We felt free to ask questions and make suggestions as the work progressed.

From the first call to the end of the job everything went flawlessly.  Joanne and Peter were able to view my property within a few days of my first call and spent a good 45 minutes walking the property and evaluating the work to be done.  They also made many great suggestions for plants to remove, thin, or add as time goes by.  They developed a plan for weeding, edging, trimming, pruning, and mulching that was well thought out and cognizant of both my budget and my desire to do at least some of the work myself (though once I saw how amazing well their crew worked I ended up leaving most of the work to them!).  
They invited me out to their nursery to review and discuss the estimate and, although I was hesitant at making the drive when they could have sent it via email, I am so glad I went.  I had the great fortune to view their personal gardens and professional nursery - and wow, was I amazed.  On the tour of their gardens (there must be about 8 different "garden rooms" each with amazing layouts, walkways, and design ideas) I had to stop myself from taking notes on everything I saw!  They truly bring gardening and landscaping to the level of high art - it is inspirational. 
Needless to say, I accepted their proposal.
The very laborious project was carried out well by the 5 man crew who worked hard for two days straight.  They hauled away two huge trailers and one dump truck of debris (weeds, grass/dirt from where the beds were edged, branches and other plant parts that were thinned or pruned).  They laid 20 yards of mulch expertly around plantings and restored multiple pea gravel paths through the property.  The crew was friendly, hard-working and led by a very knowledgeable crew chief who was able to make really great suggestions about all aspects of the job.  He recommended removing some plants and shrubs that weren't strong enough for the severe pruning they needed or that were competing with other better established plants.  He worked hard to save other trees and plants that were important to me but needed a lot of help to be restored to good health.
I've been back to the Landscape Creations nursery perhaps 3 or 4 times since the job was done, and every time I end up leaving with some amazing plant I saw in their gardens and want to add to mine.  Their nursery stock is so much better than what you will find at any home improvement store and even at other nurseries, and their plant prices are excellent.  I've bought tons of iris, an amazingly well established lilac, ligularia, roses and even some gorgeous annuals and hanging baskets.
I'll absolutely have Landscape Creations out again, in fact I'm working with them now on an estimate to plant approximately 8-10 evergreens and other trees throughout the property. 

Joanne & Peter were a delight to work with.  They were super knowledgeable and spent a lot of time helping us figure out how to do what we wanted and stay close to budget.  We really appreciated that they understood the potential issues with drainage, plantings, trees, etc.  Peter had a really good sense for aesthetics and provided a lot of good suggestions and input.  Joanne made sure that all the decisions that needed to be made were made and communicated with us every step of the way.  We always felt that they were treating us fairly and looking for ways to pass savings on to us when they could.
The team that installed our patio, led by Jose, was top notch -- extremely hard-working, polite, trustworthy, etc.  We have never felt so comfortable having people working on our house day after day.  They also clearly took a lot of pride in their work.  We would not hesitate to recommend them to family & friends and to use them again. 
Following this project, we hired them again to design & install the landscaping around the new patio and to address other landscaping needs around the property.  Chaio led this project and was similarly easy to work with.

They did everything they said they would do just like we requested, provided advice on how to maintain everything, and proved themselves as our landscape solution for years to come.

This was probably one of the best experiences I have ever had with a hired service provider. Joanne and Peter Dautartas came to our home and looked over all of our landscaping to determine what we needed and what we wanted making suggestions as to what might best address our needs including  including moving and reincorporating  some of our existing plantings into new design. One area in particular in which we have a wind sculpture is really strikingly beautiful now and it is a pleasure to just go look at it! Joanne paid amazing attention to every detail of our landscape even noting beautiful plantings that had been obscured by overgrowth and, in the end, those plantings were maintained and enhanced by the work done. The  estimated price of the work was well within reason considering the scope of the work to be done. The work crew arrived on schedule and went to work immediately. They were well organized, hard working and paid meticulous attention to every detail, (even remembering little details about  some of the small plants that Joanne thought should be maintained and given new focus.) The work crew foreman checked with me frequently to make sure that everything was being done to my satisfaction and to see what else I might want done. The work crew seemed very invested in doing the best job possible for me ; making every effort to see that I was pleased with the work. With the exception of a short lunch break they worked non stop from the time they arrived until they left. They were wonderful! Joanne maintained telephone contact with me from time to time making sure that all was going well. My overcrowded landscape has been completely transformed into something beautiful. Most of the work done involved using plantings that I already had and I experienced no pressure to purchase additional nursery stock although I did choose to purchase a few of their beautiful, healthy plants on my own and will certainly return to their nursery to purchase anything I need in the future. Just touring their beautiful property is well worth the trip. The two dead trees I wanted taken down came down quickly and efficiently. It seems that there is probably nothing regarding landscaping and design that these people can't do.and don't do well. For me, what sets these professional aside from many I have experienced in the past is that they REALLY CARE about the customer and the quality of work that they provide. Outstanding experience all around!!

They were absolutely wonderful. They did a beautiful job. They worked with me and helped me lay out a plan to do the work that I wanted to complete myself. The price was comparable to other people and they did a wonderful job.

The trees and plants we purchased are unique and in impeccable condition. The team that installed the patio arranged and installed each piece were Joann and Peter who are with perfection, creative and responsive.

    The project went very well.  The overall experience went better than I anticipated.  
    I met with Peter and Joanne and found them both to be knowledgeable and creative.
    Joanne selected plant material that I would be able to maintain and was appropriate for the location.  She kept in mind that low maintenance and easy trimming were just as important to me as the overall appearance.

     The Landscape Creations crew arrived on schedule and on time.  Everyone seemed to work well together.  Peter and Joanne were there as well to supervise the project.  Although the weather prevented the crew from completing the project as scheduled, they arrived the next day to complete the job.
    All things considered, I'm very satisfied.  It's enough to add that I would use Landscape Creations again. 

The project went superbly!  From the very start, Joanne and Pete impressed me.  They were the first to respond to inquiries I sent to several landscaping companies I found through Angie's List.  They came out to my home and spent an hour with me discussing my needs and getting a feel for what I wanted.  They proposed some ideas and sent me pictures of their proposed designs.  Over the next few weeks, I visited their nursery, selected plants, and fine-tuned the landscape design with them.  The installation itself went smoothly and very quickly.  The entire project - which included removing existing grass and installing an entirely new landscape, was done in less than 5 hours.  The project crew were efficient, courteous, and easy to work with.
One of the things I appreciated most about Landscape Creations Nursery was the consistency of service.  From start to finish, I dealt directly with Joanne.  Other companies I interviewed would have had 3 different people managing my project:  the sales rep, the account manager, and the project manager.  With Landscape Creations, I dealt with Joanne directly through the entire project, including post-installation follow-up.
Another really appealing aspect of working with Landscape Creations is that they grow all of their own plants at their nursery.  The plants are not shipped in from California or Costa Rica; they are grown locally.
I am so pleased with the service I received and the way the project turned out that I will be using Landscape Creations again next year for more work.  I highly recommend them!

The project went exactly as planned.  Joann & Peter came as scheduled, reveiwed the area, listened to my needs/plans and quickly provided a written estimate.  Reviewing thier estimate and picking the plants at their nursery was an enjoyable and educational experience. They both were open to providing a host of gardening information.  The crew came as scheduled, were professional and cleaned up after themselves.  The design was far better than I could have imagined and looked beautiful immediately.  In fact, Joann even picked out rocks around my property to use in the design, to save some funds.   I have had something blooming all season! Joann has remained available for gardening advise throughout the summer.  Again, I give this company all stars!

We were amazed. They brought a big crew and got everything done quickly and efficiently - clearing out a mess in our yard and making it look beautiful - leaving certain plantings and clearing out others. Next the fence went in. We were worried that it might not look nice and might block our view of the lake but it was expertly installed and it actually makes the yard feel bigger. The parking area is wonderful too and blends into the landscape just as Peter and Joanne said it would. We couldn't be more pleased. The attention to detail makes all the difference. We are very satisfied and happy with the result.

I would like to thank Joanne and Peter for driving the distance to Rootstown to give an estimate for a clean-up, resdesign and possible hardscape.  After making the drive, it was quickly determined that the distance to our house would not be time nor cost effective, (neither of us realized this at the time). Therefore, it would have been very easy for them to turn around and leave once this was determined (as they still had 4 other appointments to make and this was 5pm).  However, they still took time to give me advice, answer questions and even to suggest another possible company closer to my area. I have had bad experiences with other landscape companies, i.e. poor knowledge of products/plants and lack of integrity , but their expertise in their field was apparent, and I very much appreciated their honesty and feedback. I must admit disappointment that I was unable to use their services, but if you are fortunate enough to be in their service area, I feel you will be impressed as well, do not hesitate to call this company.

    Overall, this was a wonderful experience.  I had contacted other nurseriers as well as a couple of arborists and all recommended just removing our diseased Austrian pines and replacing with something else.  They all said, even though we had bugs and fungus, we didn't need to do any dirt remediation because a different type of plant would be put in.  I'm an old farmgirl and I know the importance of good soil.  Dick and JoAnne heard my concern and, after inspection,  said, yes, the dirt would need to be replaced.
    So, first problem solved,  Another issue I've always had is when you get landscaping, it just shows up and they plant it.  Done.  Not at Landscape Creations.  They grow their own stock so the plantings are already acclimated to the area.  YOU GET TO PICK YOUR OWN PLANTS!!  JoAnne walked their property with me in search of white spruce, grasses and flowers.  I loved that aspect.  She tagged them for me right then.
    At delivery, they want you there for your feedback on plant placement.  JoAnne placed everything in constant consultation with me.  We made several last minute changes that really enhanced the overall look.
     Landscape Creations' crews, equipment, trucks and operators were top notch all the way through the job. I really appreciated being kept abreast of everything by JoAnne and Rae, office manager.  I get so tired of working with companies/people that I'm constantly chasing down to find out what's going on.  That is not the case here.
    We are so happy with our experience with Landscape Creations, Pete and JoAnne, that we're having them do other work for us as well.  Finding the right people for the job is at least half of the battle.  I can't recommend this company highly enough.  We are completely satisfied with every aspect of the project.
      
  
 

Pete and Joanne did an EXCELLENT job designing and putting together ALL our landscaping, Our patio is beautiful, Pete had great vision and imagination as he designed our waterfall and pond. Joanne has a gift being able to envision what the yard would look like with various plants and trees. We just put the whole project in their hands and we couldn't be happier. We now have an OASIS to come home to, to get away from the hectic world out there.  We enjoy our coffee in our OASIS every night after work.
