Bill Conti Plumbing

Bill arrived promptly this morning and within one hour he had snaked out the drain. He charged us only $135 and waived his normal $35 service charge. Bill is totally competent, efficient and a pleasure to work with. From now on he is definitely our plumber.

Bill was over to look at a slow leak that was causing damage to the drywall in our utility room. Showed up at the door within 30 minutes of talking to him and identified the cause to be the indoor water meter and told us the the city water dept needs to come out and replace it. Didn't charge us a dime since his estimates are free, and offered free advice on how we could prolong the life of the older valves. Was extremely personable and pleasant to work with, would definitely recommend him!

UPDATE: About a month after Bill was out we had another issue, our hot water heater went out (in the middle of the night). Contacted Bill at 7:00 that morning and he was there within an hour with a new tank. Replaced it very quickly and hauled the old one away. Consistently impressed with his level of customer service!

Overall the experience was positive and I will use Mr. Conti in the future.

It was wonderful.  He came in, set up did the job, cleaned up and left.  Charged me what was quoted. Was very pleased with it all.  He was very pleasant, no ego or attitude was displayed in my dealings with him.

I knew I had to get this toliet fixed.  I called a few people, the price ranged from 450, 425, 135 for the repair.The first guy was the expensive one, he only gave me the quote when he was on site.  I told him it was too much he said he is the lowest plumber in the area.  I had him leave... he left so fast he forgot some of his tools behind.    Then I called Bill.  He told me over the phone a quote, and came the next morning.   He kept to his quote of 135.00, and repaired toliet fast.  I will use him from now on.

He was very honest and his pricing was fair. He was very thorough. He even offered a 5% discount for seniors if he did the work.

Bill arrived as scheduled. He was very professional and attentive to my concerns. I knew that would be the case, because a few months beforehand, during a renovation at my place, he had come promptly to deal with a plumbing leak. (My contractor had recommended him.)

Bill came out and replaced the entire drain assembly underneath my kitchen sink. I had noticed water leaking onto the floor for weeks which was damaging the hardwood and called him thinking it could take a week to get him out. When I explained the nature of the problem he came out the same day. Once Bill arrived he determined he did not have all the parts he would need so he went to the store and returned quickly to start the job. He was there for three hours and only charge me for 2+ his $35 service fee. Less than 24 hours later my basement had water on the floor as a result of a broken valve on the hot water tank. I called Bill back and asked him if he would come out for emergency service to which he agreed. Bill showed up within a few hours and fixed my problem for $90. Amazingly, he didn't charge me any additional fee for the emergency call. Bill is an actual craftsman and as long as he is practicing his trade I will always use him for both residential and commercial plumbing needs.

I have used him several times. Each time I have used him, he has done the work well and there has not been any problem. I like his work and I feel that he is reasonable, honest, and he does not fool around. I spent $156 on the job. He usually comes within a reasonable amount of time. I feel he is very straightforward when he tells me what he can do. He will give options if there is more than one way of doing something. He gets the work completed within a reasonable amount of time. When he comes out, he comes ready to work. I like to use him because he comes out on the appointed day. If he is going to be late, he will call me. I will definitely use his services in the future.

I felt bad about him coming out on New Years eve, so i told him not to come. He was not even going to charge me extra. He did come out an fix it on another day. Another time I dropped candle wax down the sink and clogged it. He came out and fixed that also. He is a wonderful person and man.

Mr. Conti arrived exactly on time. He worked for 3 solid hours and everything is now working correctly. He charged us the price he quoted on the drain back in April. It was no surprise for us. The other work added up to the total. Another excellent job, thanks.

It went very well. Mr. Conti showed up exactly on time. Fixed problems and explained what he did and what we could expect. He also gave us an estimate on some fairly extensive drain repairs which we will have done at another time.

The experience was fantastic. He is professional in every sense of the word. He is very thorough, and does what he says he is going to do. He shows up on time. He was very courteous, and very clean. The price was as estimated. He got to me quickly. I am very happy with the work he did. I would use him again in the future.

Bill Conti was very polite and professional. He took the trouble to point out where we were getting corrosion on our water pipes and applied a treatment to stop the corrosion. He suggested we check at times and re-apply to save us from future problems. This was unlike another plumber we had who put some new pipes in, but failed to mention how to stop the corrosion. Thank you Mr. Conti.

I have never met someone as honest as Bill. Bill is always on time, returns calls promptly, and is such a polite guy. I usually leave the door open for him to come in and work and I can only tell he's been there by the bill on the counter. He cleans up well and doesn't leave fingerprint smudges everywhere. His prices are fair. Unlike other plumbers he doesn't charge for time he's not at the house. He is our little plumbing angel!

He did great! He came when he said he would come. We had a problem with the kitchen faucet after he fixed it, and he came back to fix it free of charge. He also always lets us know if he will be late.

Always professional, punctual, and pleasant. He's a real mensch! He is just great - he has even showed up on weekends for us!

He came out to do the furnace and offered to help my son loosen his license plate!! He went out of the way for that!! He did our furnace great!!

Bill was certainly on time, very polite, courteous, responsive, professional, reasonably priced and got the job done. But even more so, he stood by his work and seems to take great pride in his reputation. He came back to fix our shower drain a second time and gave us helpful advice for preventing future back-ups. We were really impressed with the way he handled it, and even more so when he said he would not charge us for the second visit. It was really important to him that we were pleased with his work and would be comfortable recommending him to others. We certainly were pleased and will recommend him highly. We are going to have him come back for another, bigger plumbing job in our house. We really appreciated his honesty and integrity.

Bill Conti is a wonderful plumber and person. He worked for Vanderwist for awhile and we were always happy to have him. He always did excellent work and was efficient. When he left Vanderwist to start his own business, we were happy to follow him. He never called us but when we found out he was no longer working at Vanderwist, we found him and are delighted he is still in the plumbing business. He is a licensed master plumber, state certified, licensed, bonded and insured. I am happy to say that many of his former customers have followed him and he is gaining new ones every day. No wonder.
