I used Swirsky Roofing in the past and was satisfied with the service and the work done, but in my latest effort to get a quote, I did not receive a response to either my email or phone call so I would not hire again.

To be clear, I did not receive any services from this company. However, I feel it important to communicate my dissatisfaction with this company and their lack of professionalism. My neighbor received services from Swirsky Roofing, a new roof in Cleveland Heights. On November 4th, 2019, I came home on my lunch break and their team had power cords hooked up to my electrical outlet on my property. I was never asked if this was okay and that is completely unprofessional, not to mention illegal. It is illegal to go on someone else's private property and use their utilities. When I got out of my car, one of the guys knew that they were in the wrong and gave me some excuse about possibly blowing my neighbors fuse if they hooked up all their equipment to his house and that they were planning to give me $20 dollars for using my electricity. I sent a private message to the company about this illegal activity, but received no communication back. I simply wanted them to acknowledge it was wrong and make sure they don't do it to others in the future. Since they didn't feel it important to respond, I felt it important to warn potential clients of their un-professionalism. I have plenty of pictures and a Ring Door-bell video to show them illegally using my utilities but I am unable to attach to this review. I'm hoping they realize their mistake and take proper steps to ensure it doesn't happen to others in the future.

Barry came out an gave us an estimate and was able to complete the job within a week or two. Crew was efficient and cleaned up nicely after the job. They have completed two other jobs for us in the past. Very pleased!

The work was done promptly. Replacement of a small section of flat roofing was done fairly well. However, the quality of replacement of the flashing around a chimney was very poor.

Fast response! He gave us a quote that was lower than 3 other companies that we called! Very knowledgeable and the work was completed within a few days. Was very pleased with the work done on our roof. Will definitely hire again in the future.

New shingles on house and garage. This is the kind of company that you want to have in your life. The have years of experience and know exactly what needs to be done. I've owned a lot of houses, paid for a lot of roofs and these folks are at the top of my list. Price was good, they did exactly what they said they were going to do and they did it exactly when they said they would.

THey did a great job AND they left my property completely neat and clean.

They did such a great job!  Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, tidy and thorough.  Our roof looks beautiful, and everything he promised was delivered. I highly recommend their company, excellent job!

PERFECT, NO COMPLAINTS

The price is fairly good, but no free lunch, the quality is bad, responsibility is bad as well. 
The work is mess, left lots of unfinished job, leaking here and there.

We were very satisfied with the results and work of Swirsky. Our third floor, flat roof in Cleveland Heights had multiple layers of pebbles and tar under a rolled roofing material. A storm blew half of the roof off. Swirsky was one of about 5 quotes we received. Barry (of Swirsky) had the most reasonable quote and also came across as the person that best understood how to cleanly remove the old roofing material. Barry arranged for a crew to come quickly to get the work done.

Barry was very prompt and professional. The prices were very competative.

Recommendation from friend. When problems arose, Barry was willing to correct and work with us.
Good cleanup. I think we found only 5 nails, which were under bushes.
Overall good experience. Crew was friendly. Barry is honest.
We received 3 estimates and everyone wanted to do something a bit different. Barry's estimate made the most sense. We were looking for the job to be done correctly, not lowest price, but his price seemed on par with other estimates.
We had insulation blown in at the same time from insulation company. His crew was willing to work with the insulation people.

They were great.  I called them on Friday and he came out the same day.  We talked about everything and signed the contract. They called on Tuesday and delivered the materials.  The next day eight guys showed up and the roof was finished that night.

Showed up on time for estimate. Showed up on time for work. Workers did a great job on installation and clean up.

I did not realize until after they were hired for job that they were in the penalty box, but overall I was pleased--they came and did a good job. Everything was done in a timely manner. Nobody else could get to me in time, and they came right out. They did not look professional at all, but they did do good work. Mr. Swirsky himself looked professional, although his workers did not.

Overall service was good, however they did miss something the first time but after contacting them they came back and finished the job to my satisfaction. They are a reputable company, easy to work with and I would recommend them.

They came out right away and did the work. They did a good job and I would use them again. There were a few things that I wasn't totally satisfied with, but they came back out, within ten minutes, and fixed them.

The workers did not arrive as early in the day as I expected, but when they did get here, they worked really fast. It was dark on both days by the time they finished. Unfortunately one of the skylights was the wrong size, so another had to be ordered. Also I was a little disappointed by the standard of clean up. We had to wait a few days for them to come and finish up with the new skylight. They finished the clearing up really well and we are very happy with the way the roof looks. We have had heavy rain since and I am pleased to say that we have no leaks.

The work seemed fine, we ended up having terrible water damage, it was a "crisis" like moment. They tried to temp fix it, things got worse, took a long time to return phone calls. They charged me again to fix this portion. Wanted assurance the roof was in good home condition via phone call, they have yet to return my call.

They were prompt and professional. They are a little more expensive, but well worth it because they are professional, reliable, and efficient.

They put on a roof two years ago, and have been out this last year to reseal the gutters at no charge. They were great to work with and did an excellent job.
