Expert Basement Repair

The process went very well and we are extremely with happy. Jim Hise ( the owner ) came out to our home  shortly after we called his company to look at our basement problem. Jim explained what the problems were in a clear and easy to understand way.  After looking at 3 other companies in our area,  Jim represented the only company that had extensive experience with all the repair methods and had been in this specific repair business over 20 years.  We were given a thorough and comprehensive understanding of all the basement repair products and how they get used, and  how they perform in various circumstances. We were also shown how to do our own research on the companies we were considering. This was very interesting as I discovered, because  some companies had changed their names and ownership in the recent past. A few had lots of customer complaints...some under another name! Of course we checked out his company too! haha  
Jim said he only does one job at a time and he says he is always on the job with his men. I liked having the owner on site all day. He and his men were on time, courteous, very knowledgeable,  and were amazingly clean for the job they were doing and all the work and equipment they had to use.  I really liked that he answered his personal phone in the evening and weekends and was always in contact with me after we chose his company. I am also very happy that the carbon fiber brand he used had no odor and had an additional  transferable warranty from the manufacturer.

Jim Hise and his team did exactly what he promised. They were in and out with minimal disruption, completing the work timely. I interviewed a number of providers before selecting Jim Hise , dba Expert Basement Repair. In speaking with other providers, I found others I would also hire.. Basically Jim appeared to be the most knowledgeable and thorough in his approach. I did not fully see this until interviewing others and doing my own research. Jim's pricing was reasonable. I had one provider who offered to do the same job for twice the amount and then offered a 15% discount. I also noted the other providers appeared to have one person sell the job and another crew do the work. I appreciate that Jim helped me understand my problem and then he did the work with his team.

Our house had two minor horizontal cracks in opposing basement walls. Though we have seen no movement in the foundation since we've lived here (7 yrs), we wanted to address any potential concerns as our house is newly on the market. Jim Hise came out promptly, took a lot of time assessing the situation and providing us with a comprehensive explanation. After carefully reviewing the diagnosis and providing us with a detailed quote on the prescribed solution, Jim patiently answered our questions. When we decided to move forward with the repair, Jim and his team were prompt, professional and clean.
