Owner called back promptly, scheduling was quick and painless, although we did miss an initial install due to an illness in their office staff, but the work was performed the next day. Employee who did the install was friendly and very professional. I was pleased with the work and the results.

Do not use Patriot Air, stay as far away from them as you can! The owner Bill is the most dishonest person with absolutely no integrity at all that I have ever met or dealt with! He may be very nice while selling you something, but he will not back it up, ever! Patriot Air installed all most of the AC/Furnace units on our street and everyone that I know of has fired him, and has had absolutely horrible experiences with him, all based on the same issue the owner Bill is extremely dishonest and lacks any integrity at all! They do terrible work and make lots of money fixing their terrible work every single year. I have had 4 long difficult years dealing with him and have learned firsthand what the saying means that a “leopard doesn’t change its spots”. This guy is bad news stay away! His company Patriot Air originally installed the AC/Furnace unit in my new home in Oct 2007. From the very first time I turned on my AC system the first spring of 2008, so about 4-5 months after I moved into my new home my AC system did not work. His company came out to fix it, said there was a leak but could not find it so they had to go through the steps of putting die in etc. which is a multi visit and Very Expensive Process. Bill then tried to charge me for this repair (Several Hundreds of dollars) even though the system was brand new and did not work since day one when he installed the system only a few months earlier. It also obviously fully under my 2 year warranty with the builder, that Bill obviously knew about for crying out loud he is the owner of the company he had to be involved in making this deal with the builder! Believe it or not we had to fight with Bill over and over again about this being under warranty. Finally had to get the builder involved to end his lying scamming escapade! I have learned that everything I do with Bill needs to be very well documented because he is so dishonest and without any integrity at all! The system made it through the summer, and then the following spring (spring of 2009) I go to turn on my AC and it doesn't work again! Keep in mind this is a one year old system that he installed and repaired a few months later and now a one year old system I have to go through major repairs again. Called Patriot Air up tell them that the system they installed and repaired less than one year ago is not working, and make sure I state it is fully under warranty by the home builder and further more that the repairs that they did the previous year also carry a one year warranty. And I could not believe what happened next, Bill calls me back and says that there is no home warranty the home warranty was for only 1 year and that his company has never been to my home and never did any work here so therefore there is no warranty on that either. I could not believe what I was hearing, what a crazy psycho liar!!! So I tell him lets worry about that latter I need his company to come out and fix my AC. Which they do and discover that there is a leak again and go through the exact same exercise die etc.. and give me another several hundred dollar bill. So I call my home builder up who told me not to worry that of course there is a full 2 year warranty on the AC/Furnace and that besides that Patriot Air just made these repairs less than a year ago and that they should be covered under that warranty as well. So then I call Bill up and tell him and he explodes and goes absolutely crazy, yelling and screaming there is no home warranty and we have never did any repairs at your home, ever! Which now has pushed me over the top, I say to him I cannot believe you are saying this we talked at great length, even argued about the new home warranty last year, and his response really told volumes about is character, "If you can’t find the paper work that we were there last year then it didn't happen". So I called my home builder and Thank God my home builder had everything recorded and documented, they were very sick of Patriot Air and Bill as well! They sent Patriot Air everything, and finally shut him up, at least for that year. I have learned that everything I do with Bill needs to be very well documented because he is so dishonest and without any integrity at all! So now it's Spring of 2011 and for the 4th consecutive year I turn on my AC and it doesn't work again, and it's the same exact same story. Every spring for the last 4 years I turn on my AC and it doesn’t work, I have to call Patriot Air out to fix it and they charge me hundreds of dollars to fix it every time. Bill has never one time taking any ownership of the fact that his company is the original installers of this brand new unit that has never worked since day one, Bill has never backed up his work from the previous year’s several hundred dollar repair, every year he charges me several hundred dollars and again claims it is a new leak etc.., Bill has persistently tried to charge me directly the first two years even though the new unit was fully under warranty from the builder and Bill knew it! Bill has even stooped to the low (Every Single Year) of claiming that his company has never been to our home and has never did any repairs, in an attempt to not have to stand behind and back up the work he did the previous year! He said if we couldn’t find the paper work that he would not back up the repairs that his company did. I have had to get our builder involved every single year to shut him up and make him back up the work he did the previous year! I have learned that everything I do with Bill needs to be very well documented because he is so dishonest and without any integrity at all! Stay away from Patriot Air it will no doubt bite you at some point down the road! Bill is by far the most dishonest person I have ever worked with or even meet for that matter; he has absolutely no integrity and will stoop to any low to save him some money! And you know what they say a tiger does not change his spots! Sure he may be very nice while selling you something or doing the first service but he will not back it up and will go to any low to not have to back it up!

Patriot Air is an excellent company to work with because they are reliable and have a knowledgeable staff. We continually use them and highly recommend Bill and his team for any HVAC needs!

We called on our hot water tank problem and they came out the next day to install a new one. We were pleased with the responce time and didn't mind paying a little more due to the quick fix. definitely will use again in the future.

Called and left a message last weekend. Bill called me back within 15 minutes and gave me the estimate. I told him I was waiting on a few others. Bill called me back on Tuesday and I arranged for the install for Friday morning. Installer arrived Friday morning as promised, went right to work. He was very efficient and answered my questions. Explained how the humidifier worked and the small amount of maintenance required. He cleaned everything up. Did a great job. I will use Patriot Air in the future for any heating/cooling needs.

Very smooth process. Bill and his entire staff are polite, friendly and very professional. Bill?s quote was a little higher than others I had received, however there were value added services he was providing that others were not. At the end of my comparison, I believe although a paid a little more but, I got the best value for my dollars from Bill and Patriot Air. The Technicians that showed up to do the work were great, they were friendly, but not too friendly, and busy all day working to get the job done. The team worked quickly and cleanly, leaving no mess behind. I would definitely use Patriot Air in the future and will recommend Bill and his staff to my friends.

The furnace went out on Thanksgiving Day and they were out right away and both times I was very pleased with the service.

All in all it was a very good experience, and we are very happy with the result. We would certainly use Patriot Air again and would recommend this company to our family and friends. We paid for a high quality system and installation and that is exactly what we got.

They were great. They gave me a reasonable bid, were professional and put in the system without delay. They made sure I knew how to use the system. The factory sent a heat pump with a higher seer rating than the original quote, and they installed it without additional cost, which impressed me a great deal. I would highly recommend this company.

John answered the call Friday night after the advertised hours of operation, Temperatures were cool so the airconditioner repair wasn't urgent. He scheduled the appointment for Monday between 8:00 and 9:00. Jeff arrived at 8:15. He tested the system and found that the capacitor had failed. He replace it in a few minutes. Warme weather returned last week and the air conditioner has been working well.

They scheduled to come out one week after we called to schedule the work done. We were told they would be there at 8am and the work would be completed in one day with a two-man team. The day the work was the work was to begin I recieved a call at 7:30am saying they would be late and would call when they were to arrive. I recieved no call and Bill showed up at 10am with the new furnace and ac unit. Finally, one person showed up at 11am. He left at 1pm when two other men showed up. They left at 3:30pm and said they would return the next day to complete the work. The next day they showed up at 8:30am and left at 3pm. Bill stopped by to say the work would not be completed by the end of the day and they would return sometime next week. They are scheduled to come back 5 days later to finish the work.

On Friday evening I realized that the AC was not running properly. Upon further inspection I discovered that the fan on the outside unit was not running; however, the compressor was running. I immediately shut down the system and called Patriot Air because I had used them previously for system check-up. Since it was after hours I expected to leave a message but Bill answered the phone. I explained to him what was going on with the system. He suggested a couple of steps that I could possibly do to get the fan running to at least cool down the house. However, upon restart of the system the compressor would not run but the fan started working when I turn it the way he had suggested. Since the compressor did not start he suggested trying again after the system had cooled down, maybe the compressor's thermal overload had disabled the compressor, and to contact him if it did not restart. I re-contacted him on Saturday morning and we set up a time, to be confirmed on Monday, for Tuesday morning since the technicians were already fully booked for Saturday and Monday was a Holiday. I was a bit concerned when I did not receive a call back on Monday; however, early Tuesday morning they contacted me and 20 min. later the technician arrived. Right away he realized that the problem was being caused by a bad capacitor. He replaced the capacitor and everything started working.

I quoted this job to 6 different local angles list rated installers. Bill won the job because of his excellent communication skills, taking time to ask about my goals, and walking the site and give some constructive advice to my preconceived notions on the HVAC system that I wanted. His pricing wasn?t necessarily the cheapest, but he sold me on the Lennox products and solid cost estimates. I began this engagement looking just to replace my AC unit, with a vague idea of replacing my furnace. Bill discussed different options and their ROI. Ultimately, we decided to also add HVAC Zones to our house to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the new system. Bill worked with me on pricing and I certainly felt like I understood where the value and price originated for each of the installation aspects. His team arrived and worked 4 days to do all of the new installations and zoning retrofit. The guys were very professional, courteous and did an excellent installation. All work was neatly installed with an approach that ensured all of their work would not interfere with my basement remodel plans. As for cleanliness, they made sure to use tarps to protect the floors in finished areas, and were excellent in cleanup. Overall, the team was very personable and you could tell that they genuinely cared about doing things the right way, and I couldn?t be happier, which is important when you are replacing everything except the original in-wall venting. Even when I asked them to change the location of a vent or damper, in preparation for other finishing that they were not aware of, they made changes without a single complaint or issue. Top quality people and a strong work ethic. I would highly recommend Bill Kanipe and Patriot Air for your next project. I?m certainly very happy with my houses? uniform temperature and ability to heat and cool areas by need instead of running AC or heat at full speed everywhere just to cool the upstairs or downstairs. Beyond the excellent technology that they installed, I know it was done well -- and that?s worth your time and money in this economy. Thanks Guys!

They were very compasionate with me. They came out as soon as they could on Friday, after Thanksgiving, to make sure I had heat. They helped give a part so I could have heat until my new one came in. They owner came out on site and was very professional. They laid down cardboard and paper as well as cleaning up after themselves. When I came home from work, I could not tell they were here. I would highly recommend them. Their price was very competitive and gave me a great deal. I just can't say enough about them; they are a great company.

Friendly and courteous over the phone. A tech responded as quickly as possible to my urgent 'no heat' service request. The tech that came to my house listened to my input and explained what he was doing as he inspected and repaired the furnace.

We were without heat for a day and a half before we could reach someone that could fit us in on a Saturday. Bill returned our call and was actually able to fit us in within a half hour of the call. Other companies we tried to reach, either didn't return our calls or didn't know if they could get to us until Monday (24 hour emergency). Bill did a survey on the problem and said he couldn't get a new igniter until Monday morning, but did show us how to light the furnace should we get cold. We only had to do that twice since the temps were not to bad this weekend. Monday morning he was back, replaced the igniter and did a tune up since we didn't know when the last time it was done. We've only been in the home for 2 months. All the work was completed within 45 minutes.
