Description of Work: Install vent tube through slab of living space, installed fan in attic and vented through the roof.

Description of Work: Stacey was great! They came in one week for the estimate and planning for the job. The next week they came and installed the mitigation system. Radon-X came at the time promised, completed the job at the time promised, and tested as promised! Our system is working as promised. We tested our home with a self-test kit from Lowes before and after Radon-X installed our system. After the installation, our radon levels dropped below the recommended amount!

Description of Work: radon gas was very high in our basement.18 by a independent tester. randonx installed 3"pipe through the basement floor up through the roof.ran test again and was 3.4!

Description of Work: This company is a husband and wife operation. Even being a small company, they have all the equipment and knowledge to reduce the level of radon to safe levels in the home. I purchased a house that had readings in the 9.6 area and this company installed a radon reduction system. The levels of radon were reduced to a level of about 2.1. The quality of work was excellent and the cleanup was fine. Their price was just a bit higher that some of the other quotes that I had gotten, but the quality of materials and workmanship was worth the price. I would use them again it I needed such services.

Description of Work: Stacy did a wonderful job and made everything blend in to the exterior perfectly! I couldn't have asked for a better job.

Description of Work: Radon Test was $125.00, additional fee of $50.00( don't remember what is was for). Recommendation was to replace current system. Gave numerous reasons as to why, i.e. fan did not work, problems with current installion, etc. which resulted in an estimate of approximately $800.00. I had a second test and opinion, cost for test $125.00, no additional fees. Result, he started the fan, stated there was no need for a new system and encouraged homeowners to have system retested about every 24 months. I spent an additional $125.00 for a second opinion which was a small price to pay considering I would have replaced a system that was in perfect working order and this company instructed me on how to detect problems with the system fan. Although RadonX was quick to respond and performed the test in a timely fashion, I can not recommend them due that they gave me incorrect information. I called them because they were on Angie's list and had a high rating.

Description of Work: Hidden Dangers have installed a Radon Reduction System in our last two homes. One in '07 and another one in our new home in Sep '08. The price was comparable to other service providers, but the professionalism, timeliness and attention to detail is what makes Hidden Dangers stand apart from their competitors. We recently had a minor issue with or motor and they came out the next day and repaired the issue. We will continue to use Hidden Dangers for our Radon detection and reduction.
