Service went very well. I had bids from several companies, and they were the lowest. I did my homework to make sure I was getting apples to apples bids, as I was warned by some other companies that cheaper priced companies don't do it right. I didn't see that here. Plus, this company carried $1,000,000 liability insurance, which the others did not and this company guaranteed the radon levels would drop to below 4 or they would work until it was below 4 without further expense. The other companies did not make this guarantee. Also, this company did not try to earn business by putting the competition down like the other companies did. I was home all day for the installation and the owner came out to make sure the job was going ok and then came out later to make sure the job was done right. The company is state licensed and had a licensed person there to look at the install during and after. I am an engineer and a very picky person, and the work was done to my satisfaction. The radon levels fell to 0.7, which is about as low as they can go. That was good! The other benefit is that the radon system should make my basement drier, reducing the energy I need to use to run a dehumidifier there.

RadonX is a great company! It's a small company that prides itself on high-quality service and products. Before we installed the system, out radon levels were around 16 CpL. Once installed, the levels dropped to an average of 2.0 CpL. However, on a very cold evening (-5 degrees) the levels briefly moved to 3.9 CpL. Under the contract, if the retest indicated levels above 4.0 CpL, an additional retest will occur and/or adjustments to the mitigation system will be made. Even though RadonX met their obligations of the contract (they were below 4.0 CpL), they still came out and accomplished another restest. Those results were much lower (average of ~1.2 CpL). You will not be disappointed going with RadonX

Stacy was excellent. He called, he emailed, he kept us informed and was responsive. When he said he'd do something and said he'd do it on such and such a date, that's what he did.

Great - Stacy was able to come into the house before we were moved in and installed the mitigation system (between Christmas and New Years) so we wouldn't have to worry about high Radon levels when we moved in on January 1st. Great service and responsiveness.

Went great. Stacy and Brian went above and beyond the call of duty and repaired shoddy work performed by previous radon mediation installer as well as shoddy work provided by plumbers who installed new sump pump and back-up sump pump systems.

I had initially contacted Radon-X for a radon mitigation system estimate in Dec. 2012 for the historic house we are renovating. Stacy came promptly at the scheduled time, and provided an estimate. His estimate was comparable with another company I had also contacted, but Stacy was obviously much more conversant with the code requirements and more experienced and licensed in regard to the associated electrical work. Unfortunately my renovation work took longer that I planned, and I was not able to follow up with Stacy again until late September, 2013. I asked him to come to the house again to verify that none of the completed renovations would impact the planned radon mitigation scheme, and to confirm/update his estimate for the work. He again came to the house as scheduled, reviewed the mitigation plan with me, and verified that even with the 9 month delay there was no change to the original estimate. We agreed to proceed with the work, and Amy and Stacy arrived promptly on the scheduled installation day. They brought all the necessary supplies and tools with them so that there was no time wasted running for parts or tools. They worked well together and were careful to keep the disruption and dirt to an absolute minimum. They completed the installation in a timely manner within the day, and installed their radon monitor. Stacy returned at the scheduled time the following week to pick up the monitor and to review the results with me. The radon levels in the basement were reduced below the action level. My wife and I are very pleased with the work that Stacy and Amy performed, and would recommend them to others for radon mitigation work.

Excellent. Very quick response to initial inquiry. Followed up with in home survey and recommended solutions. Quickly ordered needed parts and scheduled an installation appointment. Work was professionally completed -- on time and within quoted cost. A very pleasant business experience.

They arrived on time, worked diligently the entire time, and I was very impressed with the quality of the installation. The system is essentially silent. They explained clearly what they would do during the install prior to starting. They also made sure I understood how to ensure the system was working properly. The system looked better than I thought it would. It isn't an eye-sore whatsoever. I would definitely recommend Radon X for any radon mitigation system. I have already referred 2 family members to them if they decide to have a mitigation system installed in their homes. My home averaged 17.8 pCi/L prior to the system being installed. The 4 day average after the installation was 1.3 pCi/L. Thanks for a job well done!

Stacy, the owner of Radon-X, is an extremely knowledgeable and professional representative of the radon mitigation business. He is polite, patient and very thorough in his work. I would strongly recommend him to everyone, and strongly suggest that everyone have their homes checked for radon.

They were very professional. As stated in another review, they are a husband and wife team. It took about five hours for them to seal the sump pit, drill the floor and install the piping and fan. The installation went very well and looks great. The price was slightly higher than a competitor; however, I visited Radon-X's website and saw the difference. You get what you pay for. The install looks great. They even painted the vent pipe on the roof to blend in with the roof. They use tripods to hold their monitoring device instead of finding a piece of furniture to place it on like the competition. Our reading went from 8.2 to 0.5 after the install. I highly recommend them and their service.

Outstanding service. The name makes you think this is a big chain company, but it is actually a husband/wife team, which means you get personal service and attention. Stacy (the husband) was friendly, helpful, and definitely went the extra mile to make sure everything was done just right. His wife was just as professional as him -- she did all of the drilling and inside work while he plumbed the outside pipes and ran the power. Don't go anywhere else -- these are the people to call for radon mitigation! so

We scheduled a day for Stacy to come out to our home. He came out as scheduled, on time, and set up the three day test. He was very personable, and explained everything about the test and gave the opportunity to ask questions. When the three day test was done, he was prompt to come out to pick up the equipment, and explained the results to us. We had a higher than recommended radon level in our basement, and it was recommended that we have a mitigation system put in. On the day of installation, Stacy and Amy were prompt and had everything they needed to complete the job. It took about 3-4 hours to complete the work. They installed a gas tight cover over the sump pit, put in a drain ran PVC up from the basement, through the wall and out to the garage, ending up in in the attic. A fan was installed in the attic which exhausts through a vent on top of the roof. Every part of the install was professionally finished, and in most cases, looks better than the original piping/plumbing that was already there! It was an extremely cold and bitter wind chill day, but they did everything wonderfully without a complaint. The continuous radon monitor is a in a very accessible place in the garage and is a wonderful reminder that the system is working. After the installation, Stacy showed us that our new radon level was showing an average of 0.6 which is well below what we started with. We were very impressed with the professionalism, promptness, workmanship, and willingness of Stacy and Amy to make sure we understood the process from testing to installation. They are wonderful people and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a radon test or mitigation system installed. It is so rare these days to find people who are truly proud of their work and who perform work in such a professional manner. It was a pleasant experience from beginning to end!

It went really well. He got everything installed discretely, neatly, and quickly!

We called Radon-X after our new neighbors had their house tested for Radon by Radon-X, at which time they found higher then acceptable level of Radon in their home. So we decided at to have ours checked. They were very prompt at getting in to check our home. They were very professional in their explanations of their testing, results and the system installed. The testing was done prior to installation and again after, at which times they explained the results. Our house also showed higher level then acceptable limit of Radon. Installation was done in one day, the work areas were cleaned up, explanation of how the system functions, do's & don'ts and everything was done by the owners of Radon-X. Final test showed the system was had brought the levels of Radon down to an average of 0.9pCi/I.

Overall the work was done to my satisfation and the job is very professional.

They made sure everything fit properly, they were quick and precise. Installed radon mitigation system with pvc running in the basement and across the crawl space, installed protective lining in crawl space to minimize radon. Then routed pvc into garage and up to attic where the fan was installed to pull radon out of the house through a flute in the roof.

The company's site was very informative and the owner seemed to know what he was talking about. I e-mailed them Sun. and was e-mailed back almost immediately and an appointment was set up for the next day to set up the equipment in the lower level. This'ttook only a few min. and we set up an appointment to review the results 2 days later. At that time Stacy hooked up to the computer and we saw the results. We didn/'t need mitigation, but if we did I would not hesitate using this husband/wife team and would recommend them highly.

Installation was done professionally and very conscientiously. Exercised great care to be clean and neat. On time for every appointment. System is quiet and has reduced radon levels below 4 pCi/L. Very knowledgeable company that actually cares about what they do.

They were thorough and easy to talk with. They answered all the questions I had. They did a neat job and cleaned up after themselves. I had gotten a couple of other quotes and they were not the cheapest.
