Excellent! Stacey is very knowledgeable about his business and all it entails. There were no surprises and the cost was what he quoted. I liked that it was him and his wife that did the install, and not subcontracted. Took about 3 hours for the install. He explained everything after they were finished. The system looks neat and clean, and radon levels are now below acceptable levels. If you are thinking about checking your home for radon, give RadonX a call. They do a great job.

Stacy and his wife installed a radon mitigation system which has reduced our radon levels to .8 or below. Stacy and his wife sealed the sump pits and installed a pipe from the basement through the attic where they installed a fan to release the radon. They did an outstanding job and completed the work with little disruption. All of the work exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be happier with the results. Their professionalism and integrity was clearly evident throughout the process. Would definitely recommend them without hesitation.

This service provider did an outstanding job! Stacy and his wife (the installers) took the time to explain everything before the installation started so I knew exactly what the finished product would look like. I was not familiar with Radon mitigation (the only reason I knew I needed the system was because the radon levels were tested in the home during the inspection period before I purchased the home just a few weeks before the system installation). They were on time and completed the job in a timely manner. They worked with me to determine the best place for the vent pipe to come out of the back of the home and discussed my options with me before they started. They took great care to clean up all messes and leave the area as clean as or cleaner than it was when they arrived. After the installation, they explained the system thoroughly and discussed with me the maintenance needs for the system. They then placed another radon testing device in the basement that tested the radon levels over a couple of days to verify the radon levels had decreased to safe levels after the system installation. Stacy worked with me to find a good time to come back and pick up the monitor. When he returned to pick up the monitor, he showed me the results right then and there and confirmed that the radon levels had significantly decreased to safe levels with the system installation. My experience with this service provider was perfect, start to finish. I highly recommend this service provider.

baI was very impressed with Radon X. Not only did he install a radon mitigation system in my home, he was able to work with me and hide the pipes in my crawl space and attic. Take a look at your neighbors mitigation systems. If you see a white PVC pipe climbing up the side of their house, you can bet that it was not a system that Radon X installed. Radon X installed the system exceeding all codes and the radon reading after the install was barley readable. The reading was so low that had a second company test it and it is true, Radon X mitigated my radon to a tenth of what it was before.

Great results, better than expectedn

Stacy and his wife arrived exactly on time and explained everything that they needed to do. they showed us pictures of radon systems that they previously installed on other homes. They went about their business in a very professional manner and cleaned up every thing that was disturbed. When they were finished the operation of the system was explained to us in a manner which was easy to understand. Before they left they put a radon monitor in the basement to be picked up in two days. When they returned to pick up monitor radon level went from 9.0 to 0.6. I would recommend the Radon-x company to anyone who needs a radon system.

Radon X installed our Radon mitigation system. They were competitive on price and provided a superior product. The crew was professional and took the extra time to pick the best location for the install. I would highly recommend Radon X for installation of a new system or an evaluation of an older system.

Stacy and Ann did a great job and installed all of the pipes, fan and plastic sheeting with minimal mess and noise, leaving a clean, functional installation when they left. The result was a reduction to 0.9 pCi/l after the mitigation was completed - down from 10.4! I would highly recommend Radon-X to anyone needing Radon mitigation, and the other benefit has been a significant reduction in the basement moisture by covering and exhausting the moist air.

They called on the 7th in the morning as they had two other jobs that day and rescheduled for 3:30, they then called again around that time to say they would not be able to get there until 4:30. I waited until then for them to show and left my house at 4:50 as I had previous obligations and he called after I left to say he would be there in 15 minutes. I told him I had left the house already and would not be able to come back, we had already rescheduled the time twice that day and they did not make it for either of their previous arrangements.

Four hours of hard work by Stacey and wife. Brought own equipment and ladder, cleaned up afterwards. Returned in 3 days to pick up testing equipment. Radon went done from 5.9 to .o4-1.0

I did the right thing and contacted several other companies in the area for quotes. Radon X was in the list of companies that I asked for a quote. Stacey told me what to look for in all the quotes and what was right and what was wrong that he had personally seen in other installations. After all the quotes were in I chose Radon X because: I felt like I was valued as a customer I felt more prepared to make a educated decision. I felt like Radon X would be there for me after the sale. Installation Day arrives and Stacey calls about 2 hours before our appointment and tells me they are running a little ahead and could they come over. I agreed and they arrived about an hour and a half early. They started to work right away and we discussed exactly where everything would be placed. They completed the job in around three hours and they showed me all their work. Then they started clean up of the work site, they thoroughly swept the job site and used a shop vac where needed to clean up after themselves and even helped replacing the items that needed to be moved in the garage to accomplish the installation. Bottom line, My Radon reading was a 34.9 (severe) and was reduced to an average of 1.0 well below the required level of 4.0. I'd hire them again in a minute. Its been a while since someone did what they said and then cleaned up after themselves and delivered what they promised. Highly Rated A+++++

Their professionalism from the beginning gave me the distinct impression that the work would be performed well. Stacy and Amy Busch are a husband and wife team that came to my home to install a Radon vent/mitigation system. Stacy walked me through exactly what they planned to do and confirmed with me that the location of the vent pipe would work for us. The installation took just a few hours. The slab was drilled out and a 4" PVC pipe was inserted into the opening. It was joined overhead to a roof-penetrating vent with a critter-guard. Somewhere in the middle a fan is installed (I didn't look at it, but I can hear it running). The installation was very clean and they cleaned up after themselves. I'm happy to have a professionally installed system. Some unexpected details. 1. Stacy painted the roof penetration brown so it matched the other items and didn't stand out. 2. A cosmetic cap was added at the ceiling giving the installation a seamless appearance. 3. The fan was wired into an existing outlet and a labeled switch was added in the attic above the garage. Additionally, the circuit breaker was labeled to caution someone from inadvertently turning it off. 4. Amy took time to explain the operation of the manometer and what happens when I should call for service.

The installation was timely (almost a 12 hour day) and the quality of work performed was outstanding. Stacy and Amy are very personable, informative and hardworking. Overall value for services performed is excellent. In a time when customer service has mostly degenerated into a rude, uncaring, sloppily performed mediocre job, it is great to find a company like Radon-X that truly believes the customer is king.

Stacy provided a detailed written description of the work to be performed along with guaranteed radon mitigation results and warranties for the workmanship and materials ( fan, etc.). He was very knowledgeable and explained in detail how the system would be installed and how it would work. On the date the work was to be performed, Stacy was prompt and the worked was performed in the approximate 6 hrs. that Stacy had projected in his initial estimate. I was especially impressed that Stacy left monitoring equipment to collect a week of data to ensure that the work was effective. Stacy provided the data via email to confirm the effectiveness of the system. I followed up with an additional "First Alert" test kit that confirmed Stacy's data was "spot on". Stacy and Amy were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. If you have a radon issue, I highly recommend Stacy and Amy to take care of your problem.

The process went extremely well. Stacy was responsive and prompt from the first time I contacted him until the very end. He and his wife actually installed the system in our basement with the external fan and vent pipe attached to the north side of our house. I had conducted 3 separate radon tests using the First Alert tests carried by Lowes. All 3 tests came back showing very high radon levels in the house (over 20 pCi/L where the EPA recommended action level is anything over 4.0 pCi/L). I was concerned that the standard approach might not be adequate because we have about a half-inch space between the foundation and the block wall throughout our basement due to a basement waterproofing process we had accomplished several years ago. Since the sump had to be sealed, it was quite possible that the perimeter gap would also need to be sealed. Stacy said he could go ahead and do that but it may not be necessary depending on how well the fan expelled the radon. He indicated that if the results still showed too high a level then we'd need to seal that gap. That was good because I did not want to defeat part of the purpose for the waterproofing system. Stacy left a radon monitoring system in the basement to record the levels so we'd know if the process worked well enough or not. Stacy came back out the following week to pick up the monitor and was able to download the data on the spot. The results showed that our radon level had been reduced to 3.3 pCi/L. He said that normally he can get the level to below 1.0 and we could still get it lower if we sealed the gap and/or he could switch out a slightly stronger fan. I was pleased with the results given how high our levels were, so I'm standing pat for now. Stacy also said the monitor showed our levels were trending downward so that was also a good sign. I'll retest about 6 months from now to see what the levels are then which will dictate whether or not anything else needs done. I highly recommend Radon-X if you have any radon problems.

I contacted them after finding them on Angie’s List. They installed a mitigation system in my basement and routed it through my house up through my roof. They were very professional and responsive. They stand by their work as well. The first location they installed the system in did not work properly and they reinstalled it in a new location where it worked properly. They did a great job!

Radon X is a company that I would recommend without any hesitation. From the first call I made to obtain an estimate to the final email reporting a successful mitigation of radon gas, it was a flawless experience. I had an immediate sense that these owners could be trusted and demonstrated high integrity. I received the estimate in my email within 2 hours and the final bill was within a few dollars of the estimate. They helped educate me about Radon gas, explained the process, the equipment, the warranties and guarantees, expectations, etc. They were prompt on the day of the appointment and very professional. They went to great lengths to make sure the equipment was placed in the best spot and cleanup was immaculate. They even spray painted the white PVC pipe to match the shingles on the roof. You barely noticed it. My home is up for sale following a divorce and I was very nervous that when they were finished, it wouldn't work. I expressed this to Mr. Busch and he said...."Don't worry, it will work. If it didn't, I wouldn't be in business very long would I?" That eased my concerns and I trusted him. We had a high Radon gas level in the basement of 45.8. After installation of the mitigation system and retesting, the level was 2.0. It was refreshing to work with Mr. and Mrs. Busch.....clearly they are passionate and conscientious about their work. If you have a Radon Gas problem, don't waste your time and money on anybody else. You'll regret it.

I had requested a couple of quotes of area providers. Radon-X wasn't the cheapest, (15% higher than lowest bid). But Radon-X definitely seemed to be the more knowledgeable and gave me the confidence I was getting the right system. After installation the system was checked and results were within guaranteed limits.

Though I live far east of Xenia and had have trouble in the past finding someone who would service my area, they were willing to come out and give me an estimate and do the work. They arrived exactly (9am on the dot) when they said they would. They are a very nice family, a husband and wife and their son who was out of school for the summer and learning the trade. They did the work quickly, cleaned up completely and my radon tests were reduced to 0.4 I highly recommend Radon-X. After the first meetings I felt totally comfortable Stacy my key lock code so he could pick up the test machine while I was not home. Very friendly and professional.

From our initial meeting I knew Stacy was very professional and has a true passion for radon mitigation. He installed our system on Christmas Eve which shows his dedication. The system was installed quickly that morning and used quality materials. He came back several days later to test the system to ensure it was running properly and gave us the results. We were very pleased our radon readings went to almost zero. I highly recommend Radon X.

We had a radon concentration of 7.0 pCi/l in our home. I had determined that from getting 2 radon test kits from Lowes and putting them in places in our basement and followed the instructions in the kit to get the results back. I chose Radon-X because of the reviews here on Angie's List. Stacey is very knowledgeable about his craft, personable, and thorough. He gives you a PPT presentation of the process to include the hidden dangers of radon and explains exactly what he is going to do. Everything went very well. Stacey did have some problems drilling through the slab--had to use several different size drills until he was able to get through. He was unable to finish the pipe through the roof due to weather, but he finished the work about a week and a half later. I never had to call him to ask when he was returning. He would call me to inform me about the weather predictions and when he thought he could come back to do the work. After the work was finished, he set up a continuous radon monitor to run about 72 hrs to determine the final average radon concentration. It was determined to be 0.6pCi/l. He gave us a copy of the actual test. We feel safer and are very happy we found Radon-X.
