Rain One Irrigation & Drainage Systems

They were friendly and professional.  They performed the inspection when they said they would.  They arrived on time and completed everything needed to sell the home.

We used RainOne because we have had good experiences with them in the past and we knew that it would be a good and reliable job. They also checked all of our piping to make sure that there wasn't any further damage.

Having had previous positive experiences with Rain One?s drain repair team I thought I would use them to add a zone to my irrigation.  When I called and asked for an estimate they passed me to sales guy named Jeff and we agreed upon a time and date to meet. 
2 or 3 days before the scheduled appointment (which was originally scheduled 2 weeks before) Jeff rescheduled because he had to pick his daughter up from cheerleading practice.  The next day Jeff called to reschedule again which forced me to take time off work for the new appointment time. The day of the appointment he called (after I left work) to reschedule for 5pm. This I did not know until returning to work the following day.
Long story short he showed up at 5:35 (35 minutes late) for an appointment he rescheduled 3 times. The very brief meeting consisted of Jeff informed us he could not give us an estimate until his technician could look over our current system. Jeff said someone from his office would call us and arrange a time for the technician.  His office never called and Jeff was unresponsive to email inquiries over the next 5 weeks.

Rob adjusted several irrigation heads; a few valves were fixed; and a major leak was repaired (with special care taken to not damage any landscaping).

All good.

They saw the problem and went straight to work.  Am very satisfied and would recommend......

We had a water problem in our yard and it was causing a water problem in our next-door neighbors' yard.  Both of our yards would remain soggy, even several days after it would rain.  I knew our drains had to be the problem because I ran out to the street one day when I heard our sump pump run.  Nothing came out of the drain hole into the curb.  Rain One gave me the best price in their estimate to remove all the old drain pipe and replace it with a more durable drain pipe and replace our old sump pump.  They even let me view the screen as their camera showed all the cracks in our old drain pipe.  They told me, in detail, what they were going to do and how they were going to do it.  They reassured me that they would be very careful not to cut any irrigation lines, or our utility lines, which were running through the area they needed to dig.  They also reassured me that they would put everything back in place so it would not look obvious that our lawn had been dug up. 
   They showed up on time the day they were to begin the work.  They had a large crew and lots of equipment.  They used a sod cutter and peeled away the sod before they started to dig.  They also had marked all the irrigation lines that were in the area.  I had to leave to go to an appointment at 1:50 p.m. and things were still pretty torn up.   When I returned home at 4:30 p.m., the sod was back in place, the crew and trucks were gone and I was amazed at how nice our lawn looked.  I know they told me everything would look good when they were done but it looked much better than I had imagined.  
   It rained the next day and the drain worked!  Our sump pump water goes to the street again and our yard is no longer soggy.  We are able to mow that part of our yard with our lawn mower again, even the day after a rain.  A supervisor from Rain One came out a couple of days later and took a look around to inspect the work that had been done and make sure everything looked good. 
   We were very happy with the whole experience in dealing with Rain One.

I have used Rain 1 for about 4 years for startup, winterization, and some valve repairs and have always had a good experience with them.

They were very experienced and professional.  We were pleased with the work, but when they returned in the fall to shut off the system, they made some recommendations for additional changes that weren't done earlier. We will use them again.

They did a fantastic job, and they made sure that everything was perfect. I would highly recommend them. They were a little pricey, but they did a good job.

Workers arrived on the day scheduled. All work was completed in one day except for the water hook up, had to be done by a plumber (separate contractor). Everyone was very professional and property was cleaned up when they left. They were back as scheduled to test and set up an irrigation schedule.
I would certainly recommend Rain One to any of my friends and neighbors. As a matter of fact my next door neighbor is planning to have them install a system this year for him.

They did pretty good. They missed some stuff so I called them again and they came right out and fixed it. They did a pretty good job. I would use them again.

They are very responsive and they do a very good job. We have never had any problems with them. They are always on time.  

we had just installed a new sump pump system but something was still not allowing the water to flow to the street.  Called RainOne, they came, used their drain inspeciton camera.  This provided the location of the clog, it was a tree root.  The replaced 25ft of pipe..did an excellent job.  Clean up was wonderful...and you can not tell the dug in our yard.  I highly recommend this company.

There was a little back and forth to get the routing of the drains completed, but after working with customer service, the problem was resolved.  Once the planning was done, everything went well.  I was very impressed with the replacement of the landscaping/grass.

After this extensive work, we could not even find a muddy place to give away all of the work done !  The crew was prompt, professional, and did this job in a few hours  that I had had 3 other recommended providers out to estimate over the last 18 months (none had even responded with a quote; I think the project and equipment required may have been too specialized for them.).  We will use this company again!

They were punctual, courteous, responsive to questions/suggestions, and helpful in installing other conduit that we needed for the garden.  I would definitely use this company again.

We have had problems with our sump pump since 2010. We've had three plumbers out and have spoken with several other plumbers, none of whom could fix the problem. Rain One came and quickly fixed the problem. They ran a camera through our pipes and found that one was smashed and another was not connected properly. This caused the water to come back in and the pump to run continuously. Everyone else said we needed to replace the sump pump or that the frequent running of the pump was normal. David from Rain One new immediately that the water was running back to the sump pump and that there was a problem with the pipe outside. They fixed the piping and replaced the sump pump and installed a backup sump pump and battery. David said that fixing the pipe would keep it from running continuously. He fixed it at 10 this morning and came back at two to install the new sump pump and it hadn't run at all in that time. Roto Rooter wanted to replace the sump pump and for that and the backup battery they would have charged between $3800 and $6200 when Rain One fixed the problem for $1250. I will highly recommend them to anyone I know.

I was out of town and got a notice from the city that I needed a backflow test done. Lawn One irrigation came out the same day I called so I could get this taken care of.

The system was meant to pump excess rain water out to the curb on the street. The system has worked great since it has been installed and it has managed to handle many severe downpours without issue. For that we are very thankful. We did have a few issues with Rain One with regard to responsiveness to our phone calls and questions regarding payments, estimates and installation time periods. We were often promised phone call returns that we did not always receive. When we were able to get hold of them they were very professional and very happy to talk with us and answer our questions but we would have preferred a little more punctuality on their part. If their services are required in the future we would not hesitate to use them again.
