Yes, the person showed up and did a very good job ?

We called Mr. Electric to provide a quote for removal of existing and installation of a new light fixture in two-story foyer. They were very responsive and sent out a technician within a couple of hours to provide a quote. Once the technician arrived, he proceeded to complete a in-home survey of our electrical panel, exterior electric box and electric meter. He then reviewed the scope of work and came back inside within about 10 minutes. He went over the home inspection and then provided the quote that’s where things went sideways. The quote was $1169! 😳 Again, that is to remove an existing light fixture in a foyer and replace it with a more current contemporary styled one. We explained that the quote was excessive based on our estimates from other providers. He indicated that they had just revised their pricing and that their pricing was in line the other major electric service providers. Needless to say, we explained to the technician that we would not be going with their services due to the price point.

3/21/25 Tyler and Miles arrived promptly on Friday morning; were professional and patient with my questions. They were at my home for several hours, and did a vg cleanup job when done. Great to have my kitchen lights working again. Very happy with their efforts.

Awful. Don't use them. They scheduled me over a week out and then started calling me all day when they were supposed to arrive saying they were too busy. Waited until the afternoon, called again and said they had to move my appointment ANOTHER WEEK OUT. What a terrible way to do business.

TL;DR - Services are WAY overpriced. Company did not obtain a required permit. Company ghosted me when I tried to have them do as promised. Get all in writing. Confirm licenses and permits before work is done. I hired Mr. Electric to install a new power line and disconnect for an air conditioner I was having installed. For less than an hour's work, they charged me $1200. The only reason I agreed to the price was because I was having trouble finding an electrician willing to do this small job within my time frame. During my HVAC inspection, I discovered that they did not install a breaker in the disconnect, they did not install the correct breaker for the AC in the panel (amperage too high) AND they did not obtain a permit for their work as was promised. My inspection failed because of their lack of professionalism. When I called to complain, I was put in touch with Dion Troiano-Coe who supposedly is a manager for this franchise. He apologized and promised to take care of the panel breaker and permit issue. The tech never showed up on the day he was scheduled. I texted Dion, and he ended up coming out himself, saying the tech got caught up on another job. Dion corrected the breaker issue and confirmed he was getting the permit and would email me a copy. Almost 3 weeks later - no permit. I texted Dion and asked for an update. No response. After another week with no response, I had to go direct with the County, pay for the permit add-on ($75) and schedule the inspection. There is no easy way to contact someone who cares to complain. They are a national franchise operation that hides behind an answering service. BEWARE!

It was terrible. They charged me way too much, it should have been 300 or 400 dollars but he charged me $1200.00. And the technician stole some stuffs from me.

Damon J was the electrician. He was professional and friendly. Very knowledgeable. Arrived as scheduled. Explained pricing process and explained the work that needed to be done. He repaired the outlet and made necessary alterations. The outlet and garage door is now functioning properly. The coupon offer of $57.00 was very helpful.

They've all been good. I had a light in my closet. He had to put a box up there and re-wire it and now it's pretty good. They did my ceiling fan too and I really really love my ceiling fan. It was pricey for me but I was pleased.

Electrician had a bad attitude and was condescending. Would have kicked him out of the house if I wasn’t desperate to have the work done before the house closing.

We had a pleasant experience with this company, since we were first time customers in dealing with Mr. Electric. We feel the company customer service reps does an excellent job in communicating with contacting the customers on scheduling and re-scheduling appointments. This company is one of the few electric company which will perform a service to LED lighting projects. The cost of services are rather high, but they have a large team of electricians who a readily available including on weekends. Jonathon was our electrician/tech and he is extremely knowledgeable! Overall we feel Mr. Electric is a very good company!

Terrible. He claimed to fix outlets and they were not working by the next day. He said he fixed doorbell wiring and as it turns out, the wiring is still broken.

They have done things right. Removed the siling fan and installed a light fixture. The price was quite high. I got $56 discount for the angies list, and paid $142, which was ok. But, the original price was $198. They came the same day I called, which was great! But, I don't think I will pay for $200 for a light fixture installation next time.
