Their work was very professional and the job looks wonderful.

The job took about three hours. The repairmen were very nice, personable and professional. They did a beautiful job of repairing the fence and building/fixing the two gates. They asked for my opinion on the gate closures, explained things very well and even found a handle for the outside of the back gate to make it easier to use. I am very pleased with the work that was done and will consider using this company in the future.

I called several companies, but FENCE SPECIALIST is one out of two that showed up to give an estimate. Got an estimate on the spot and he mailed out an additional estimate that I asked about...different fencing options, other than simply replacing what blew down. He seemed very knowledgeable. He also offer galvanized holders that would keep the fence from heaving and protect the wood supports better than concrete or using nothing at all. The other fence company didn't mention this to me. I feel comfortable with this company and plan to hire them.

Due to our homeowners policy we are only allowed one type of fence, so I had to find someone to do a 3 rail split fence for my whole backyard. I have seen their sign on a few other fences around the neighborhood and I checked Angie's list and they had a good rating. I called to get the estimate and they were out the same day to do the measurements. They were the only company I called to do an actual estimate, but I called a few others to see how much they charge per linear feet, and Fence Specialist was the best. I went ahead and scheduled for them to do the install and they called all the utility companies out to mark the lines. They installed the fence in two days and it looks great.

I contacted Brent Downing to make an appointment to get an estimate on a fence. We scheduled a date and time and he never arrived. I called him the next morning and he apologized and scheduled another appointment. That date came and went and he never arrived. He never called me on either occasion to advise that he couldn't make the appointment. I would think twice before using this company since they can't so something as simple as keep an appointment for an estimate.

They did not return my call, but later called to explain why.

They did a good job. They got everything done when they said they would. The fence is holding up and looks very good. They showed up when they said. The final price matched the estimate. They got the job done in a timely manner.

The worker was very friendly, even asked if he could back his truck up to where the jobsite was (on parking space). He promptly went to work and was done in about an hour. After finishing he straightened up a double gate as a courtesy.

The work was done fairly quickly & it looked really nice. They even made it a little bit 'custom' for me by sloping it down in the middle so it was 4 feet in certain spots and 6 feet in the rest. I wasn't sure which way I wanted the fence to face (side beams in or out) and was told I could decide on site-whoops! That was sort of my fault, they ended up placing them the opposite of how I wanted it. I thought initially that staining of the fence was included in the price, again my fault for listening to the words and not reading the contract thoroughly enough, so we decided not to have it stained. There were several times I called about a piece of wood splitting down the middle on the hinge area of the door and it was very difficult for me to get an answer. I kept getting a message back saying "it's two pieces" and that was the reason I was calling them. I had another question about a beam splitting and didn't hear back either. If I had gotten more timely responses, I would have considered them to do the other side of the yard next year but I think I'll look elsewhere. A decent company though.

I called the company to get an estimate. We set an appointment. I also asked them to bring us some samples of different fences or catalogs. The contractor was late for his appointment, apologized, said that he forgot his cell phone and couldn t call us. He also forgot the samples and catalogs. He apologized, which was nice. The contractor measured our lot, gave us an estimate and promised to mail us some samples or catalogs. Well, the company or this particular individual never mailed us anything.

The project went as planned, we didn't even have to home for them to do the work.

We have not decided yet whether to get the fence or not.

They did a fantastic job! Everything was done very professionally, as were the two workers, Kyle and Mike. Kyle was a perfectionist and everything was as top grade as I could imagine it to be. I couldn't be more pleased and I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking to have fence work done.

The experience was very good. They were here on time, even on a holiday weekend. They finished the job and came back to make sure everything was ok.

The end product exceeded my expectations. They were the lowest price quote we received. One guy did the entire job and cleaned up the work site. This was the only company we talked to that used concrete to set every post. Other companies we spoke with only used concrete on the corner posts or none at all. They even took care of the township permit/approval process. Only ding - they are slow to return calls but I would hire again if I needed another fence.

The company was initially very responsive to request for estimate. An individual came to our home, provided a verbal estimate and stated he would followup with a written statement by mail. The statement was not received within one week. Email was sent to company requesting written statement. No response. A month later the company contacted me by phone to followup to estimate. Informed company that no written statement was received, Melissa apologized profusely and stated that a statement would be sent. No statement received. Telephoned company and Melissa stated that they were burglarized and records lost, that she would send individual back to the home for in-person estimate. Appointment scheduled and no show, despite Melissa stating that individual would be 2 streets away working on a job and assured estimate appointment would take place.

I got 4 estimates and chose Fence Specialists both because of price and because they were recommended to me by another fence company who couldn't do the work for me. It's a family-run business and I was especially pleased with Brent's brother Kyle, who oversaw and performed most of the work. He and his helpers (I don't know their names; sorry guys) all did a fantastic job and were very friendly. Brent and Melissa were a pleasure to work with and I'd highly recommend their company to anyone.

They were very unprofessional and I was disappointed because we were ready to do work. We had the time and the money set aside and by the time they got back to us we didn't have the money any more and timing was wrong. They told us they would get right back and they didn't get anything to us for two months. How are you going to trust them to start a job when they make such a bad impression at first.

He came out and we talked a long time about the different types of fences. I told him what I wanted and he told me what he could do. When we were done he mailed me an estimate that I got about a week and a half later. I'm waiting to have the work done for a future date.

They were prompt and showed up when they said. They had great workmanship. They were friendly, clean, neat, and left no residual. They quality of their work was excellent. I have no complaints.

I had originally obtained a quote from Fence Specialists last year, but had decided to postpone work. At the original appointment, Brent came out to draw up the estimate. He was very friendly and helpful as my wife and I made our decisions about the type of fence we wanted. Earlier this year, I called Fence Specialists and asked if the quote was still good. Aside from a *slight* increase, the quote was still honored. We had to play phone tag a bit before getting everything lined up. Once we were all on the same page, the work began on time. There was some miscommunication regarding what the crews needed to complete their work. The tools they had required an outside electrical outlet, which I don't have - this postponed work for a day. Had I know ahead of time, I could have provided the necessary connection. That aside, the crew did a superb job cleaning up the worksite and I am very happy with the result.

The project went great! The work was completed quickly and professionally with beautiful results! They also went to great lengths to get our permit and satisfy our city's building requirements. Employees were courteous and helpful. The workmanship and quality were of the highest standards. I highly recommend Fence Specialists and would use again without hesitation if need for additional fencing.

Entire experience was good and the fence looks great! Everyone in the company was great to work with. They arrived on time, were very professional and certainly knowledgeable about their products. I had a set time line for having the fence installed and they hit the time line. My fence has been installed now for three years and I've only had one problem with a couple of the rails coming loose. They came out as soon as I called them and tightened all the rails at no charge.

This company was not particularly responsive. I called 3 times before I finally got someone on the line. Eventually someone came to give me an estimate. I asked him to measure the backyard, just to see what he would come up with and he was about 8 feet longer than what I had measured, which is still in the ballpark. He gave me a verbal price of $2400. Eventually I did get three more estimates and they were all rather high. I finally decided on an invisible fence product with has less than half the cost of the chain link fence and allows the dog access to the entire yard and not just the backyard.
