The proprietor quoted me a price for the fence repair that I needed and said that he would schedule the repair the following week. I never received a phone call from him.

I paid $2800 on that work. Overall it was a good experience. I believe it was the owner came out and asked what I wanted and it was difficult because my yard slopes down. At the back I put a jog inside with an extra gate at the back, so it wasn’t like a square plan. When the workers came out that day they did not have the same plan, so it was a good thing I was here. I told them exactly where I wanted things and luckily the owner gave me a copy of the plan, but as far the quality it was great. It did not take a lot, but it was good that I was working from home that day. They did a very good job and my neighbors owned the chain link next to me and he did wait till I got permission from them to remove it. They matched it up very well and there not any space in-between their existing chain link and my privacy, so they did a very good job at that. I think the price was right. They did push me back, but that was because it rained a lot and I did also have to call them to get the time line. If they called me back it would be good.

The Fence Specialists did a great job. Their attention to details were clearly exhibited in the construction of the fence, the quality of the hinges / hardware and the clean-up work afterwards. In addition, barring the weather-related delays, Fence Specialists completed the project on schedule and on budget. We were very pleased with the end product and would not hesitate to refer them to our family and friends.

It was very difficult to speak with someone at this company. When they first showed up to give me an estimate, their representative didn't have any of the equipment needed to measure how much fence needed to be installed. It took probably 5-6 phone calls to actually get the quote to do the work. It also took about 5 phone calls to get an invoice. This contractor is not recommended.

After finding the company on Angie's list, we called Fencing Solutions for an estimate. Brent came out within a few days for that estimate, answered all of our questions, and discussed our options. We had researched and received several estimates from other companies, but Fencing Solutions provided the best product and price, overall. His crew came out and installed our fence, including 2 single gates, and 1 double gate. They worked extremely hard at leveling the fence and making it look perfect. They were not happy with the way one of the gates looked and so Brent had a special gate made to go along with the slope of our yard. All of their extra time and dilligence paid off and we are thrilled with the final product. Fencing Solutions wants to please their customers and they certainly exceeded our expectations.

Brent Downing is the owner of the business. The ladder that he put for climbing roses is of the red wood. The fence has a two single and one double gate. I had a good experience with them.

We were very happy with our experience with this company. Although the office was sometimes a bit slow to respond to phone calls, the quality of the work and the friendly and professional staff outweighed that minor issue. Brent's estimate was very reasonable compared to others we received, and we liked his ideas on working around a tree/obstacle near the property line. The building crew came out within a week to start building and then completed the project in only 2 days. The builders, Kyle and Mike, were very professional and helpful in answering questions and considering options. The fence looks so nice and seems sturdy--the builders really did a great job and were careful in considering how to make the finished product look its best and to provide us with what we were asking for. We would hire this company again.

Brent and his crew did an excellent job. The finished product looks great, and they were very willing to work around several obstacles along the fence line (an existing chain link fence, a few bushes, and a tree limb), in contrast to another company that had insisted all of the above would have to be removed before the work could proceed. The cost was very reasonable compared to other estimates we received. All of the staff, including Melissa in the office, were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that they were sometimes a little slow to respond to phone calls, and the last part of the job (replacement of the gate) was a finished a few days later than originally stated. Nevertheless, they always responded eventually, and they met the agreed upon deadline for the first (and larger) part of the job (the cedar fence).

The actual fence is fantastic. Very good quality and very sturdy. Brent and his crew took the time to make sure every rail and picket were level/plumb. They did a great job of following the slope of my yard. The bad part about this experience was they came out about two weeks after promised and their office is hard to get a hold of. They apologized for the delays and for having to leave messages. Just be prepared to be patient if you decide to use them.

Estimate appointment went well and Brent was thorough. Very pleased and good customer service. Work was not completed to our satisfaction per our original plans/estimate. Was told we did not have to be present during work- luckily my husband was at home and was able to express what we wanted as the guy who came had no information previously provided to him. I try to be fair and understanding- I am not hard to please. However, I have had to make several phone contacts to try to straighten things out. While I like Brent, I am not thrilled with how this project was handled. Still waiting for fence toppers to be installed which he thought he already had done.

They came on a Monday and were done like Wed. or Thurs. They were very good with the price. I liked the guy they used to put up the fence, he was so nice and sweet and helpful. He was very easy to work with we loved him. I would recommend using these guys to install any fencing you may need. Brent is very nice too we liked dealing with him.

They were great. They were able to knock it out really quickly and their price was very competitive with other people we talked to. They did an excellent job too.

Our old fence was badly in need of replacement and it was a little bit tricky since it wrapped around two large trees. They were able to put up a new one exactly in the place of the old one. It was a little more expensive than other quotes but they used the Oz Post that keeps the posts from ever making contact with the ground.

Pal was a true craftsman. he built a quality fence and was through, efficient and courteous in every way. The job site was a difficult one with many trees, shrubs, plants & even nesting birds to work around, all of which he carefully tried not to disturb. the owner, Brent, told me he realized that communication should have been better, which I appreciated. I believe this is a company dedicated to doing high quality work. What I liked the most about this company was the high quality of workmanship, the attention to detail, the efficiency of work progress and the courtesy shown to me at all times.

The overall experience was great. My neighbors had already fenced one side and the back of my property. I called Fence Specialists to finish the other side and the front including two gates. Brent came to discuss the project and gave me an estimate with three different prices depending on the type of materials he had available. I had a quote from a second company which was $200 cheaper, but the good impression I had from my conversation with Brent about the quality of their work and his company is so well recommended in this site that I decided to give them the job. After I applied for the permit to the association, they requested some changes to the original plan in order to grant the permit. Brent was very easy to accommodate the new changes. He took care of the city permit and made sure my property was well marked to avoid future problems with neighbors. Then my neighbor on the back wanted to have the option of moving his fence in the future. Again Brent accommodated the new changes without any problems and came up with a set up beneficial for me and my neighbor without additional charges. I decided for a cedar fence and they completed the job in two days. They did a superb job and some of my neighbors came to complement on the new fence. Some of them told me they observed the construction and were impressed with the quality of the work as well. As of today I am very happy with my fence and with my experience with Fence Specialists. They are really easy to work with, very professional and I would highly recommend them for fence jobs. I do not regret to have paid the extra $200 compared with the other company.

Fence specialists started the work on schedule and had a delay due to rain. As soon as the weather cleared up they brought in a double crew and finished up the job in no time. i couldn't be happier.

It went great and they did a fantastic job. They completed the job a lot quicker than we thought they would. I called for an appointment and they came within in 2 days and the fence was up within a week.We love the fence. Great Job!

The job went extremely well and we are totally satisfied with Fence Specialists. Phil did a fantastic job of setting the posts and building the fence. The two young men that tore down the old fence also were very competent.

Brent arrived on time for our estimate and patiently answered all questions about the new technique they use called Oz Posts. There was some confusion on arrival time on the start date but once arrived the guys were professional and courteous. They worked quickly with no downtime getting the fence up in 1 1/2 days. Everything was cleaned up when they left and the fence looks awesome and is very sturdy. We've recieved many compliments. Fence specialist was our 4th estimate. We chose them because we felt we could get a better quality fence (all cedar, even the posts) for the same money as others by using the Oz Post instead of holes filled with concrete. My only issue is with turn around time for phone calls and communication between what got discussed at the estimate vs what the office person and the workers knew. We have recommended this company to several friends/neighbors.

Owner came to give estimate. Workers were prompt and efficient. They left no mess. The quality of the fence is excellent.

I was very pleased with the fact that they had a dark brown composite fence in that color; which many other places never told me was an option. I was very pleased with the quality of work, it was great. They a few issues getting finished due to the weather, which is not their fault. Nice guys, cleaned up well. I did have a problem with them receiving payment which I am not sure if that was their fault or the post office.

They went over and above to get the fence put back up, in a timely manor.

Fence Specialists were the lower of 2 quotes I received. Another company had better preparation - brought a book with photos, etc - and I felt that it was reflected in their price which was higher by about 20%. With the other reviews for Fence Specialists in "the List" I felt that their quality would be good. They arrived at the agreed time and completed the fence in a reasonable length of time, a few days longer than originally estimated. They worked with us on the details of the lattice top to make sure that both my neighbor and I were satisfied. They even re-built both gates from a standard arched gate to one that matches the lattice top perfectly and the whole fence looks great. Everyone who sees it gives us compliments and the couple who moved in across the street wants them to build the same exact fence for them in the spring. The cedar posts cost extra but are well worth it in my opinion as they give the whole fence a consistent look, and no worry of warping as with pressure treated posts.
