Description of Work: They never showed up or called. I have been without AC for a week and made an appointment for today. When I hadn’t heard from anyone and it was nearing dinner time, I called to ask the status. I was told that “membership subscribers” have priority and they have to take care of them first. Then they would get to me. I was never told this when I made the appointment. When I asked what would happen if they don’t get to me today, I was told it’ll have to be Monday. So, basically, if you have a job and have not paid for VIP membership, you better be prepared to miss 2 days of work without any idea when they might show up, an estimated time slot, or even a call to let you know what’s happening. It’s deplorable! I will tell everyone I know never to hire this company. I used them 2 years ago and had no problem. I guess now they’re too big for their britches and don’t care about returning customers unless you pay extra membership fees. Shame on them!

Description of Work: Appointment was made and tech was supposed to come out next day. Scheduler called but didn't leave message the day of appointment, and did not send tech. when I called to ask where tech was they said the would have to reschedule because no one answered phone. Appointment needed to be rescheduled for next day. Tech came out and quickly diagnosed problem. Damaged part was replaced, however I question whether or not the replacement part was new or used. Tech told me part was new, but appeared old because it was sitting in his truck out of box for about eight months. I had to take his word for it. AC Compressor seems to be working fine since service.

Description of Work: I accepted this deal because they set the date that I wanted to do the work (Friday 7/31/15). In fact I paid twice as much because the original company could not schedule the date I wanted. As it turned out, THEY (Smiley) couldn't keep the date either, they said because of another emergency, and they ended up doing It the day the 1st company said they could do it (the following Monday 8/3/15), only it cost me TWICE as much. "such a deal". | |As for the work, snake a drain, the drain was only being used for the furnace (drainage for the evaporator coil), they snaked it out and when I asked how it could get clogged, the plumber said algae builds up and causes the blockage. | |A couple days later I had water on the floor around the furnace but it was just starting to head towards the drain. I called an AC Tech and he solved the issue. I question whether the drain was the issue in the first place. | |I hesitated to do this review, since all except 1 of my reviews have been positive, but I finally decided to report the good & the not so good experiences. |
