Exceptionally pleased with service. We've used another well-known company for years, but the quality of their service had been in steady decline. I met Steve Smylie about 18 months ago (his firm was a subcontractor on a project at our home). We were very impressed with his attitude and the quality of the work his firm did. We have subsequently used them for some plumbing repairs and semiannual ac/furnace seasonal checkup. One of best decisions we've made.

It went extremely well. During the winter our furnace stopped working and we had to call at 24-hour furnace repair company, who came out and replaced a motor and said that we would need a new furnace before the next winter, and that the fan would not make it through the summer with the air conditioning unit. I called Smylie for a second opinion, as well as routine maintenance. I explained what the previous company had told me. They examined the furnace and showed me 2 parts of the furnace that should be replaced. The cost for the service, parts, and service agreement was $640. Much better than the cost for a new furnace!! I was very happy with the two technicians who came out!

We have been working with Steve Smylie and Smylie One since buying a 1927 house 25 years ago. They installed two AC systems in a house with a steam boiler and no ducts which are able to maintain temperatures of 71-72 degrees even when the outdoor temperatures are in the mid 90s. 19 years later they proactively upgraded the AC systems to improve efficiency. They have replaced our steam boiler and have performed routine maintenance and repair.Their technicians are knowledgeable and always communicate what they are proposing to do and why. They show up on time for appointments, and call anytime they are running late.

Kevin got to my home within 75 minutes after I called and fixed the problem in 10 minutes. I highly recommend the inexpensive service agreement(which I've had for years), which puts you at the top of the list for a service call if you have an issue.

All the places that I went to see about the work had no idea how to attach the new seat without removing the whole toilet our getting a new one. This included Home Depot where I purchased the product and Active Plumbing. The toilet was over 30 years old and had a full skirt' They were able to work around the back and into the system to place the new seat onto and fasten to the toilet.

Owners are great and all of the field technicians are professional and nice. Highly recommend Smylie One for and installation and general system maintenance.
