They were very reasonable. I have used them before. They are very professional and did a very good clean up job. They chopped up the wood we wanted to save and took away everything else. They were good. I rate them high overall.

Went very well and was accomplished swiftly, efficiently, professionally and with complete clean-up.

We started with them because we had some tree stumps we needed to remove and we just moved in with them doing our lawn care. Although we do not use them in the winter as we did in the first year, they do snow plowing and work in general like they do landscape work as well. They never came around for landscaping. We have talked numerous times about them doing some landscaping. They did some lawn care, cement work for us. They had a patch put in and they were great with that. They did some concrete pouring for us. Anything that has to do with landscaping and outdoor, they do it all. They are like a whole package. They are very friendly, very knowledgeable. Price is good. They know my kids. They actually look after our house. There has been times when we have had some people come in and do painting and other work inside. These people reported to me about them. They keep an eye around the house while they were around. They get very busy. They don't make it out here when they are supposed to. For mowing the lawn, they were great. They were always on time every week. There hasn't been an issue. I don't always get them here when I want them to. They have got a lot of customers. Their punctuality depends on the kind of service. When it is here for regular maintenance every week, they are on time. They do it every week, same day, around the same time, but when there is extra stuff that I call them to bring in and do, they sometimes take a little while. They are professional. I will use them again in the future.

Our large (about 50 ft) maple tree had a good deal of dead wood, particularly up in the top. Highland came in with a crane and lifted one of the workers into the tree on a harness where he used a chainsaw to cut out the highest dead wood. Other workers (5 altogether) used long-handled pruners, rakes, and a chipper to clean up lower branches. When they were finished, the lawn was clean, and all the wood and chips were taken away. We couldn't have been more pleased.

The job turned out fine. They did exactly what they said they would do. They did some additional work. They probably did a little more additional work than he planned. But he said he would hold to the price he gave me. They cleaned up. The job was exactly what they should have done. We have used them before as well and all in all we have been happy with their service. In fact, sometimes I might nick on a little bit for pricing, but the price this time seemed pretty aggressive. I suspect like a lot of people they are looking for work. I give them a strong report on every aspect of their service and work. They are just a good quality supplier.

I have used this company many times before and have always been completely satisfied. This time was no exception. Mike came to give us an estimate when he said that he would. The cost this time was quite a bit less that what I expected. Mike said that because of the current economic situation their prices are about what they were twenty years ago. Because of emergency storm cleanup Mike called to say that they wouldn't be able to come on the day that was originally scheduled. He then gave us a new date for the tree work, and they came when promised. Their work was completely satisfactory. At the neighbor's request they left logs that were suitable for firewood but hauled away everything else.

One tree at a time, one of the men was hoisted up next to a tree in a harness lifted by the crane. He attached a rope from the crane to one of the branches, cut the branch, and the crane lifted it to a spot where it could be run through the chipper. When all the branches were removed, this same worker then tied a rope around the upper half of the tree, and used a chain saw to cut the trunk below the rope. This man was then returned to the ground and the crane hoisted the upper-half of the trunk around the end of the house to a flatbed truck. A rope was then secured around the lower trunk, the trunk was cut with a chain saw, and the lower trunk was hoisted up and laid on the flatbed along with the upper trunk. This was repeated with each tree, in turn. All the tree trunks and larger branches were hauled away. Smaller branches were placed ground-up and the chips were blown into the back of the truck that towed it. The stump cutter was brought in and each stump was neatly ground to a level below the ground. These chips were left for us to use as we saw fit. The crew used blowers and rakes to clean the site. They raked the stump chips into neat piles. They were courteous and pleasant. We couldn't have asked for better service.

Other than the stump that we have now, you would never know that there was the huge, messy tree that was in our yard. They cleaned everything up, I highly recommend them. It was expensive, but it was a very,very large tree that was not easily reachable as part out if was hanging over a valley. Great company. T

They were really good and did an excellent job. The gentleman who came out to do the job spoke with me and answered my questions which were very helpful. They cleaned up after themselves well. Overall I was very impressed and the price was reasonable.

They came on time and worked straight through until the tree was gone. They kept the wood, but left me some anyway for my fireplace.

Overall they were timely, the price was extremely reasonable and they were helpful and friendly. They were very knowledgeable and we use them right now for landscaping.

I had to go to work and had to leave them at my house. When I got home there was no trace that they had been here, other than a missing tree! They are a little high priced, but I was desperate. The price did not include stump removal.

Highland had been recommended by both Angie's list and a friend who uses them. They showed up as promised to evaluate and got the work done weeks ahead of the promised time. Very knowledgeable and explained what we needed very well. They were very careful to do just what was needed (protect house, save other trees from disease, make the property look well) without over-expanding the scope of the job.

They were very good. Had used them before (l5 years ago). Their price included tax and stump grinding. We were very pleased and would use them again.

They did a fine job. The price was way lower compared to other quotes. It took a little bit of time for the stump to be grounded out but it wasn't a huge urgency.

Mike and Annette were very professional and accommodating, and they addressed questions in a timely manner. The workmen were a little careless with regard to my yard, but not significantly so. They cut down a sapling that I liked and some blackberry bushes, pushed tall weeds over the path to the house, and left some bark on the ground. When Mike and I discussed the work to be done, Mike seemed very knowledgeable. Yet Mike was not available to supervise the work (on vacation). Although they still did a good job. I would have felt more comfortable with Mike there to supervise. Overall, though I think they are a quality company and I would hire them again without hesitation, especially under Mike's supervision.

THEY DIDN'T DO THAT MUCH, BUT THEY WERE GOOD. THE GUY WAS REALLY TALL. IT WAS JUST ONE GUY WHO CAME OUT. I WAS SATISFIED WITH EVERYTHING HE DID ON THE TREE. THEY CLEARED ALL OF THE BRANCHES THAT THEY HAD CUT WHICH WAS SOMETHING WE WANTED TO MAKE SURE THEY DID.

THEY CAME AND DID THE WORK EARLIER THAN SCHEDULED BECAUSE THEY HAD A BREAK (COUPLE WEEKS EARLY). THEY CALLED AND SAID THEY HAD TIME AND I TOLD THEM TO GO AHEAD. THEY TIDIED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND I COULD HARDLY TELL THEY'D BEEN THERE, EXCEPT THE STUMP WAS STILL THERE. THEY QUOTED THE STUMP REMOVAL, BUT HAD REMOVED IT IN SNOW, SO THEY'LL HAVE TO COME BACK TO GET THE STUMP. VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK. I'VE USED THEM SEVERAL TIMES. THEY WERE A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHERS BUT I WAS CONFIDENT FROM PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES THEY WOULD DO A GOOD JOB.

PROMPT, COURTEOUS AND EFFICIENT. I HAD USED HIM A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO TO REMOVE SOME OLD BUSHES AND HE DID A GREAT JOB THEN, TOO.

HIGHLAND WAS PRETTY EFFICIENT ABOUT THE SERVICE. THE AREA WAS LEFT VERY NEAT.
