Eyring Movers

Went fine though I had to wait about 3 weeks to get it done..  but this was partially because my friends were away for a week.

They did a good job. 

Eyring movers showed up on time even though it was snowing pretty heavy that morning.  They quickly put down mats on the floor in the townhouse and gathered all the boxes and furniture.  They packed the truck in under two hours.  They arrived at my new house 45 minutes later and explained to me that they drive slowly to ensure the safety of my contents.

Once at the new house, they laid down mats again on all floors and carpeting.  They unloaded the truck and placed everything where I asked and where the boxes were labeled. (Ex. kitchen, bedroom 1, basement, etc).

The entire move was under 5 hours and given that they charge by the hour for service, I was impressed that they were not trying to draw out the day but rather worked very diligently to get the job done by noon.  This was my fourth time hiring this company over a ten year period.

I have recommended them to multiple friends who have used them and loved their great work ethic and pricing.

Was about $500 less than other quotes.  Perfect move; hardworkers, no breaks (other than coffee, doughnuts, sandwiches we supplied because we wanted to).  I recommended to another friend.... they were slightly over their quote but they were still satisfied.  We were under quote but we have 6 strong boys/men helping out.  Nothing broke....would recommend any time.

It was very reasonable and we were very pleased. They were very professional. We enjoyed working with them. We didn't realize at the time that our furniture would be in storage for 15 months, but they were willing to store our furniture as long as need be. They kept it in good condition. There were no problems from the move. They really deserve and A+, not just an A.

This company was wonderful. Absolutely no negative comments to impart. I wanted a moving company that did the whole job themselves, not subcontracting out bits and pieces. Eyring was one two companies I found on Angieslist that fulfilled all my requirements. The scheduled appointment for an estimate was timely and Mr. Eyring was exactly on time. The quote was very reasonable for a cross country move. I was given detailed answers to my questions concerning the packing of antiques, assurances concerning the continuity of personnel handling the move etc. I felt Mr. Eyring had plenty of time to devote to my questions. The company also has a very personable secretary of many years, Kathy, who is always available for any question and has the answer for every moving question you could imagine. The day to begin packing our movers arrived. Doug and Ralph arrived early, did a walk through the house with me taking note of special pieces, where items were to go etc. The first day they packed and were so careful of everything while being very pleasant the whole confusing day. The second day they loaded which included trundling everything to the street as the truck could not go up my drive. Not one grumble about the extra work. They drove two days to get the truck to Oklahoma and came to the house to off load some of the truck for a couple of hours that evening. Unfortunately the house was not ready, at all. The guys were great. This was going to put them way behind extending the job into the weekend. They did not complain or once mention a price change due to the overtime. Friday they came and once again had to unload up a long curvy drive. They worked Friday and Saturday. Everything was placed where I wanted it and the unpacking was done without any problems. There were no dings to my home in Akron or to the new place in Oklahoma. Not one ding to furniture or a broken item, even some very old china. They even moved a couch by four inches just to get it right. Doug and Ralph treated my items as if these were their own possessions. We were so impressed by this company and it's excellent employees that we have recommended Eyrings to my husband's company as a preferred mover. This company deserves the excellent rating for their above and beyond expected service.

Prompt. Courteous. Faster than forecast. Nothing broke. Professional. Two Men & a Truck's estimate was substantially cheaper, but they didn't offer us new-value replacement-coverage insurance, whereas this company did. Packed us on a Monday. Loaded their truck on a Tuesday morning & unloaded us in central Indiana that evening.

This is the second time we used them and they were originally recommended to us by a colleague of mine. Of all the movers we've used, they are by far the best.

It was the owner who came and gave the estimate. He gives the impression that he has good experience and knowledge. Our gut feeling was this co. was for us because this is a mid-size company and they had better pick up and delivery dates. This means it will only be our stuff on the truck. All the employees work for the company so no sub contractors and they have ten to twenty years of experience. We did not choose based on cost. It was not lowest. They were very good at answering our questions over the phone. We are looking forward to our move with this company.

I've used them in the past. This last time, they charged by the hour. They used PODS to move my stuff although I organized the use of PODS, and they unloaded them at my home. They always do a great job, and I'd recommend them to anyone!
