So Im A chef In my business customer serivice is very important . I went to wayside fruniture just to look . a very nice gentleman by the name of Gaincs help me look . this place is extremely big, i knew what i was looking for and i almost gave up. then Gaincs said ( we have aonther buiding let me take you there ). so we walk next door, look around and all the way in the back i so this couch , so i sat in it i thought by the look of it it would be way over my budget , but it was not .so becuse of Gaincs i wolk out of there with i great couch and table for around $ 700.00 , Gaincs was not pushy very patient .extremely friendy . i highy recommend getting furniture at wasyside and asking for gaincs ....

Purchased $6k worth of furniture from Wayside and had it delivered to our house in Laurelville which they had no problem doing with an extra shipping cost. Received the bed in which the clear finish had run down the bed. When I told the delivery boys (yes they were young kids that didn’t care), they told me to keep it and then call the store and they will fix it. It has never been fixed! They tried to send someone out to repair (which according to them, happens about 40% of the time), but I needed to take a day off to drive down there to “maybe” fix it instead of sending a new one. During this process I ordered another $1k of furniture and was ready to pick up when we decided to add another $800. Well, now they won’t ship it to Laurelville unless we agree that the purchase is “as is”. Meaning no matter what condition it ends up in. This decision apparently has come from the President, John Ferrato. The sales people have to ask for permission before they can ship outside their delivery range. The sales person had no problem getting John, but when I called he was in a meeting. I left a message. I called back and he went home for the day. John must not check VM before he leaves for the day. I guess since I am a customer that spent $7,800 on furniture, I can’t get shipping without a punishment of “as is” delivery, can’t get my headboard fix, and can’t even get a return phone call from the president.

Our family visited Wayside's showroom several times and dealt with a new salesperson each time. They jump on you immediately with lots of probing questions when you walk in. Very high pressure. They had a large selection of brands we were interested in, and that's the only reason we went there. After our first experience there I never wanted to go back, but my spouse really wanted one piece they were offering. They will not negotiate with you on price AT ALL. You are expected to pay full retail price for every item no matter how much volume you are purchasing from them. We asked to speak to the manager about a discounted package price since we were planning a $10,000 purchase there. Instead, the manager trapped us in his office for 25 minutes droning on about why he won't give discounted prices to anyone, even a customer who once purchased $100,000 in furniture from him. Despite my resistance, we ended up purchasing one item from them, and they made us pay a delivery charge. They wouldn't give us a window of time for delivery until THE DAY OF THE SERVICE. So, if you work, you are expected to take the whole day off from work to be ready for their delivery, and YOU the customer are expected to call the Wayside warehouse at 7 am to get your delivery window. Very frustrating experience. When the item was finally delivered, it had warning stickers stuck to every piece of glass and every door on the TV console (I think there are 6 doors), that had been stuck on there so long that they left a residue on all the wood and glass. I had to call Wayside Customer Service to ask how to remove the sitcker residue, and they said to use WD-40. I have since made purchases at other REPUTABLE furniture stores in Cleveland, including Fish Furniture and Basista Furniture, and they would never deliver an item with stickers and residue on them. They also don't charge a delivery fee and they don't give you a hassle about pricing or anything else. My advice is Take Your Business Elsewhere. We had a terrible experience at Wayside Furniture and will never darken their doors again.

They have the best selection of leather, and I've never seen so much leather in a furniture store in my life. I liked the way they displayed their furniture, and their price was outstanding compared to other places. They were helpful, tolerant, professional and patient. The salesman spent at least an hour and a half with us. I consider what I bought to be mid-range when it comes to price, but they have high end products too. They delivered the furniture home. I set the parameters, and they were punctual, and they even called in advance. I intend to buy more furniture from them.

I had a good experience with this company. I had an issue with the lock on the cabinet and they sent out a repairman very quickly. He told me how to take care of some scratches that I had noticed on the cabinet. The sales people were knowledgeable. I felt comfortable dealing with them.

We have learned from past experience to start our furniture shopping at Wayside because of the quality and large selection of their furniture. We found a beautiful leather reclining sofa and loveseat for our family room after looking through the store on a busy weekday. Our salesman was very professional and helpful. The price included a leather treatment and warranty and was a little higher than we wanted to spend, but the quality of both pieces is exceptional. The delivery people were extremely careful and courteous. We have now bought items at Wayside several times and have always been more than satisfied.

As always, the sales staff was ready to help us. They were professional, well informed and cordial. He listened to what we needed, showed us dozens of options (their selection is unreal!) and helped us select the couch I'm sitting on while I write this. It is absolutely perfect. They were more expensive than many of the other places we had visited, but we have high hopes that this couch will last for many years, unlike the cheaper ones we had looked at. No matter where we start, we always end up at Wayside. It is pretty far from our house, so we usually start at the closer stores and end up asking ourselves why we didn't just go to Wayside in the first place.

We went to Wayside to look at furniture for multiple rooms - living room, kitchen, den. We started off looking at office furniture and found a nice desk and hutch we liked. As we were standing next to the desk talking with the salesman about delivery, etc. another employee began to change the prices on the furniture. The desk we were looking at went up $200! When we commented that we were expecting to get the lower price (as that is what we discussed with our salesman before prices were changed), he told us that we'd have to buy the furniture right away. When we said that Wayside was our first stop and had a few more stores to visit, he said he couldn't give us the lower price if we left the store. I told him that was shady business practice and a little to much of a hard sell for my taste and we left.

We really like working with Larry as he is very attentive to our needs and quick to get us the information that we require in order to make an informed furniture purchase. They are quick to set up delivery and I have found that the delivery teams work well together and get the new furniture in place without delay.

We have bought several sets of furniture from Wayside over the past year. Judy Soltis, our salesperson, is always very helpful. Our first purchase, a whole room of office furniture, had to be ordered and took much longer to arrive than we were estimated. However, it is very high quality furniture and a good value for the price. In March, we placed another order, however this time the furniture (Pennsylvania House) was of poor quality and the finish didn't match on several pieces. We requested a refund due to the quality issues, even though they don t normally refund on special orders, and although we had to make several phone calls, we did finally get a complete refund, including delivery costs. The delivery men are very careful and set everything up perfectly. For delivery times, they are very accommodating and they called me when they were within an hour of arrival, so I didn't have to sit at home waiting. Wayside has a very large selection of quality furniture at good prices.

The computer Armour showed up in perfect condition during the time period that had been promised. The installers very carefully put it together and showed me how the outlets were designed to be used.

Fantastic price. I found the same table at a competitor for a much higher price. Picking the table up at the warehouse was painless. I recommend Wayside.

WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE FURNITURE AND SERVICE FROM WAYSIDE. THE DELIVERY PEOPLE WERE ABLE TO LET US KNOW THE NIGHT BEFORE AROUND WHEN THEY WOULD BE COMING, WHICH WE REALLY APPRECIATED.
