Description of Work: Snaked my pipe in the basement it had roots in it and also cleared my kitchen drain. I liked how how they came out same day and that I can count on them when I am in a bind. I wish I could remember the guy's name who came out. He was very knowledgeable and was able to even tell me why my dishwasher wasn't running

Description of Work: Or kitchen drain was clogged. I rented a snake from a local place, and did not solve. He ran a much longer snake, and in about 10-15 minutes, it was clear. He then spent about another ten minutes to make sure it would not clog again, and talk to us about how to prevent this in the future. | |Very satisfied by his professionalism!

 + -1 moreThey arrived in an unmarked van and the technician was wearing a shirt that said roto rooter in very small writing and I think he was probably an individual who had been subcontracted. The first attempt he made at cleaning the drain did not work, so he tried entering the drain another way. While he was working, his cable got stuck and he had to cut it off. He called in another roto rooter technician who came in an actual roto rooter van and was wearing a uniform. He was able to get the cable out and he used his machine to successfully clean the drain. They told me that I had to pay extra because the cable got stuck in my pipe. My bill was $805 when a drain cleaning is normally around $200. I should not have to pay extra simply because they broke their equipment while trying to clean my drain. They are saying that the accumulation of roots in my pipe is what caused the problem, but their equipment is designed to cut through roots.

 + -1 moreHe replaced the pipe with PBC and showed me the pipe and pointed out why it needed to replaced. There was so much grease built up that it clearly had to be replaced. If the pipe was Y shaped, he could've unclogged it, but it was a 90 degree angle pipe which is why it had to be replaced.

Description of Work: Clogged kitchen sink. I tried snaking it myself without success. Plumber found a clog beyond the reach of my snake. Clog was located at a bend in the pipe, which had to be cut out and replaced. (PVC, exposed in the basement, so not a big deal.) Plumber spent over three hours on the job, having tried several times with his snake before doing the surgery on the pipe.
