I have been a Collis customer for years. They are always timely, courteous and prompt. When I had an emergency no heat situation they were very responsive.

Serviceman put erroneous times on both invoices increasing the amount of time he actually worked. Serviceman was very persistent on first visit to include a cleaning of the furnace at an additional charge of $109. He wrote it in on the bill before I had indicated I wanted it. I declined and the charge was removed. On the second service call, serviceman made the cleaning of the furnace a contingency on doing the repair adding an additional $109 to the bill. When it was identified that the Inducer Motor was the problem and that something had gotten into it, I asked if it could be opened and cleaned out. I was told "No." However, after the new Inducer Motor was installed, in a conversation with the serviceman, he said that they find all kinds of things in the motors and have cleaned them out. The charge for the Inducer Motor and installation was $576. The broken part was taken with him.

My central A/C stopped working over the weekend. The compressor unit is about 25 years old and I was almost certain we would need to replace it and I imagined a huge expense we really could not afford right now. I wanted to see if we could repair it first. I called Monday morning on the hottest day of the year so far with higher temps predicted for the week. The receptionist was pleasant, said they were really booked and would not be able to get out until later in the day. I was just grateful it was going to be the same day. Mid afternoon the repairman called and said he was on the way. He arrived about 5 minutes later and got right to work. He quickly discovered the problem and showed me the bad part. Some type of switch on top of the unit part had fused shut. He had one in the truck and quickly installed it. He checked the rest of the unit and checked the coolant and topped that off too. He told me that although the unit is quite old, it really is in pretty good condition. He answered all my questions and gave me some hints on how to care for it better, keep it cleaned out, and protect it over the winter months. (We just purchased this home last fall and had moved from Texas.) The young fellow was completely knowledgeable and professional. He informed me of other services available, such as professionally cleaning the unit, but was not and quot;pushyand quot; at all. Any future problems and I will definitely be calling them again.

She was so pleased with the work that they did. They were very professional and went above and beyond the call of duty. They took care to make sure they were clean. And the work was great too. They were very meticulous. We would recommend them to anyone.

They took a long time to finally schedule the job. Started the process; energy audit, proposal, approval in the Spring......furnace was installed on a bitter cold day in January the following year.....and repeated requests to get it done before winter.

They were neat and clean. They did a beautiful job. I would recommend them to anyone.

They sell quality products and they treat everybody like family. You do pay a little bit more for their service, but if you have a problem, they are right there. Our heat wasn't on and recall of them at 11 o'clock at night and the person showed up within half an hour. They lived quite a distance away, so they probably got dressed and headed out the minute they got the call.

It went very well. I made the appointment last week and was told they would call and would be here between 12 and 2pm.
At 11:30 on 06/18/13 I received a call and was told they would be here at 2:00pm. At 2pm the door bell rang and there they were.
The techs were friendly and very knowledgeable. The problem was taken care of and I would recommend this company to anyone

Collis has professional employees, on time and telling us if they can't get here due to weather conditions. We have a very steep and long driveway.
