Fleming Contracting was founded in 2004 by owner & operator Sean Fleming. For the past 25 years Sean has been in the home improvement field in Westchester County & the surrounding area. Fleming Contracting Inc. works in the surrounding areas of Yorktown Heights, our home base. We remodel bathrooms, kitchens & basements. We tile, we paint, we sheetrock & we do all types of finish carpentry. Estimates are free & always in writing. Sean is a real "find" -- a friendly contractor who paid attention to detail, delivered co-op board paperwork quickly and came in at his original estimate. For my studio co-op, Sean gutted and renovated the kitchen (included skimcoating walls and installing new wood floors), built and installed a custom wall bed (murphy) cabinet, had all floors refinished, replaced all baseboard moldings and painted all the walls and closets. My studio sparkles now and the kitchen is a dream. He cleaned the apt. up after he finished (I mean clean!) and left no trace. I'll call Sean again when I'm ready to redo the bathroom.

Sean did a good job plastering and painting our foyer wall that sustained water damage. He was very conscientious about his work and cleaned up everything quite well. He was also able to do the job in one day rather than take time out from other jobs and do it over 2-3 days. He always returned phone calls and was quick to submit the needed paperwork to our super so the work could start quickly. My only problem was that, while the work was very good, his price seemed a bit high for a small, independent contractor. Yet I would certainly have him bid on any work we need done in the future.
