This is our first renovation and we were very nervous looking for a contractor. We chose hunter because he promised the job will be done before my due date and also gave us a guarantee that the price wouldn't go up. We are so happy we choose HDR Contracting. Everything came out exactly like I planned. Hunter helped us getting discounts for finishes and got the job done on time. The entire crew was great, Mauricio is so attentive to details and bob is hilarious and so much fun to work with. The whole project was such a great experience for us. We highly recommend HDR Contracting.

HDR Contracting Inc. did a wonderful job renovating my restaurant/inn. I had expected a longer timeline but the job was completed almost a week ahead of schedule. Hunter kept me informed of everything throughout the project. HDR is my go-to contractor from now on!

Hired HDR Contracting for a kitchen and bathroom renovation and we could not be happier. Hunter and his crew are very professional, respectful, and good at what they do. Hunters design skills are phenomenal! He took us shopping for finishes and guided us every step of the way. Hunter was very patient and always available over the phone or via text. We highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality contractor.

Hunter is a sweet talker and very convincing contractor. I gave him a $95,000 job. He did not finish the work. He was late for two months. He convinced me to pay him in advance and he will get more workers but he did not and stopped the work for more than a month. When I started threatening him, he kept lying and apologizing that he will complete the job. At the end, he did not, he asked to borrow $2,000 from me to finish everything to pay his workers to finish my job that I had already paid him for, he took the $2k but he still did not finish the whole job. I had to kick him out of my house and pay another contractor to finish it. He has a lot of financial issues. So PLEASE do not buy it when he asks for advance payment. You will be a victim like me. He did not clean the bulk garbage, he left my house in a mess and still came back to ask me $1500 more, I refused and ended the contract. As I said, he will act all humble and nice but he is a wolf in a sheeps skin so please, hire other people even if his job is cheaper, do not fall for it.

Highly recommend! Hired them for thee jobs, two of which were very complicated and required several experts. Daily communication from Hunter Roth of HDR Contracting about updates, what needs to get done and when.

Work was done in a very timely manner. (Incl weekends).

I would give 0 star if I could. Having HDR as our contractor was the worst thing that happened to our lives so far. It's a major renovation for the whole house including all plumbing, electrical, structural work, 5 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms etc. It started on May 1st. He failed so badly that we had to terminate the contract at the end of October, when all the work was supposed to be finished. When in reality, they were not even 1/3 finished, huge delays, poor quality of work, and endless false promises. It cost us dearly in terms of money, time, and emotion/inconvenience. 1, Delays. He finished the demolition pretty quickly in the first two weeks then the work inched painfully slowly. a, We couldn't go to the job site on a daily basis, and our neighbors and friends were asking why no one worked at our house during this major renovation. b, Back in May, we were promised many times that we would have all the roughing inspections passed by the end of June, but inspections were not passed until late October and later withdrawn by inspectors due to errors of the work; c, he was supposed to finish the whole house by Nov 1st, but all the walls were still open by late October with some plumbing and electrical work still not done. d, He promised many which were not delivered. It's a long list, but let's use one example here: piles of bricks from early May demolition remained on our driveway when we terminated the contract in late Oct (he promised to remove those many times along the way after our repeated requests); 2, He would ask for money before the work was done, and threatened to not have anyone working in the house if we wouldn't pay ahead of contract schedule. At the beginning, we actually paid him ahead of schedule in the demolition phase. However, we stopped doing that after two instances: a, he took the money for an add-on job (stripping some paints) around the end of May, which we paid the full amount upfront for, but he never did the work even after our repeated requests; b, his progress was always much slower than what he promised, and his self proclaimed financial issues kept us really concerned. 3, About quality of work. Two examples: a, plumbing work was done so poorly that there was water leaking from the roof in rains due to vents, and also from poorly done shower pan which resulted in water damage to floors and also mold smell, b, roof was not properly covered during the replacement which resulted in water damage to the indoor walls. Now we had to pay up a lot to other contractors to correct the mistakes resulted from his poor workmanship, and stayed in a temporary housing for an extended period of time.

HDR delivered on all their promises and we could not be happier with the results! After pricey renovations in the past, we were looking for a fair estimate for a bathroom renovation and we received one from HDR. The owner assisted with purchasing, detailed costs and add-ons, and thoughtfully reviewed all of our design specifications. We appreciated the professionalism of his crew and their great attention to detail. I would absolutely hire again and would not hesitate to recommend to a friend.

Hired to remodel 2-bathrooms, kitchen, and upgrading of floors, doors, moldings and painting throughout the apartment. Work is still in process, but I am very satisfied with what has been completed to date. Very professional and nice crew. I would hire again and would recommend to a friend.

The bathroom renovation is still going on; and, I would recommend HDR to a friend. HDR is very patient in explaining to me all the necessary steps that are required for a project of this type. The team's work is thorough. The team themselves are thoughtful and very respectful.

Hunter, Bob and Mauricio were great! The completed gutted my bathroom and installed new tub, sink with granite counter, tiles, vent, vanity, light fixtures, pocket door, painted, etc. They were responsible, respectful, mindful... I can go on and on with the positive attributes. I would and have been recommending them to everyone. My bathroom is a spa oasis and everyone who comes to see the work loves it! Their work is guaranteed and Hunter keeps to his word. The price was fair and there were no surprises. I expect to get more work done soon and I have his number on speed dial!

Hunter and his crew (Bob, Mauricio and others) were very professional in all they did. From the removal of the old front porch (which was in varying stages of deterioration) to the installation of the new porch with top-quality decking, everything was done to complete satisfaction. We've received many compliments from neighbors and visitors who are very impressed with the quality of workmanship. We highly recommend HDR and will be calling again for other projects we want to have done.

Very pleased with the finished product. Hunter, Bob, and the entire crew fulfilled everything on our wish list. We have recommended them to several of our friends for future renovations.

The bathroom was only part of the excellent work done by HDR. Bob and Mauricio replaced my kitchen and hallway flooring, all trim work and painted all lower level. "Glitches" were dealt with under original terms of contract and "getting it right" was always a priority. Calls were always returned promptly. I plan to hire them again for additional work in the near furture. They were all a pleasure to work with.

They were very human, very good and nice. I felt very comfortable with theim. I'm very pleased with their work.

Hunter and his team (Bob & Mauricio) were excellent! They just finished completely remodeling one of our bathrooms. Very resonably priced, terrific craftsmanship, work started and finished on time, no messes or surprises. These guys are true professionals in every sense of the word. We will definitely be calling them back to do other work in our house.

I hired Hunter, Bob and the crew to refresh my two bathrooms. I truly can't say enough good things about them. They were on time, efficient, beat everyone price, tidied up at the end of the day, were done in 3 days and did an excellent job. I'm not the easiest person to please but these guys were terrific. I would hire them again in an instant and have recommended them to many people. Choosing HDR Contracting to do you job/project will be one of the best decisions you'll ever make!!!!!!
