Replaced drain pipes under kitchen sink. Work was fast, professional looking and reasonably price.

These guys are great. We hired them last winter to clean our gas steam-boiler before the season -- they were professional and willing to show me some simple tips. Because of that experience, I called them back to replace two outdoor hose spigots, which they did quickly and cleanly; the new spigots work great and are very good quality with great handles (unlike the old, sharp metals ones that they replaced). Lastly, Aand N helped dislodge a 30+ year old rusted showerhead that I couldn't remove despite my efforts with wrenches/oil/etc. Net-net, good people that do good work. I highly recommend and would gladly hire again.

They had to come back a second time to adjust the handle for my cold water, which I could barely open after they replaced the stem. The plumbers and the person on the phone were professional and very polite. I am not sure about the price but they were cheaper than RotoRooters. In the end, problem was solved, but I should have made sure everything was working correctly after they finished the job the first time. Not bad for my first time experience hiring a plumber.

Anthony did great job. The appointment was scheduled quickly. First, Anthony cautioned me that the repair might be more complicated and might run up to $650, but to my relief he was able to fix it without opening a wall for $270.

Two guys arrived and looked at the pipe. Immediately, I got the sense that they were just trying to charge as much as possible for what I knew was a simple job. In an almost comical, and definitely rehearsed shtick, both guys went back and forth with me over all the things that could go wrong and how difficult it could be (ie: they may need to open the wall, there's tile there, who knows what's inside, etc) Then one of the guys had to call his boss for a quote, which came back at $275. To cut and re-thread a pipe. Now I'm a dummy, but not that big of one. I told them that $275 was way too expensive and that I had another plummer coming in next week for a quote, which was true. The guy called his boss again and came back with $200 for a price. This was still too expensive, but they were here, and I wanted it done so I relented. They get to work and the whole house smells like gas since these guys didn't turn off the main gas line prior to cutting the pipe. I'm not a plumber, but I'm darn sure that it's a no-no to not kill the main gas line before doing gas line work. I asked the guy after the job was done if it was typical to not do so and he said that that's the way he's always done it b/c you don't need to relight any pilot lights in the water heater and anywhere else. Not a good enough reason to put my house and family in jeopardy if you ask me. Job was done in ~20-30 mins. I was told that and quot;we were luckyand quot; that they were able to do it so quickly. All in all, just dishonest and unsafe business. The experience made me uneasy and displeased. I would go elsewhere if I could do it again.

I did not use Aand N but I commend them for referring me to a drain cleaning service when I called them about having my bathtub drain cleaned out. They nicely told me that a drain cleaner could really do a better job. We don't see much honesty in this business (which is why I am on Angie's List) so I felt Aand N deserved some credit for this. Based on the other reviews here, I will surely try Aand N if I have another type of plumbing problem.

Courteous service provider. Obtained quote for replacement of 2 washers in each of 2 dripping taps - quoted $175!!

They dispatched a plumber within 15 minutes of my call. The guy was knowledgeable and made a very thorough inspection of all the possible caused of my bathroom's leak until he found it. The solution was simple and cheap. A less honest or efficient plumber would have resorted to breaking walls and making us pay through the nose. Since their plumber didn't actually have to make the repair himself, they charged us nothing.

Keith and Lou arrived promptly. They confirmed that the toilet was leaking from the base when flushed. Since our basement ceiling is open under the bathroom they were able to see the water drip down the lead drainpipe when they flush the toilet. They let me know that it was most likely the wax sealing ring and that they would have to remove the toilet to repair it. They let me know that it could also be the a damaged lead drainpipe and that would cost a lot more to repair. Once they removed the toilet they confirmed that the original wax sealing ring was not only damaged, but it was not the correct thickness for my toilet and that toilet was not installed correctly. They quickly installed the new and correct wax ring and reinstalled the toilet correctly. They were very neat and efficiently cleaned up afterward. They came an hour early and got started immediately. They were all about business but friendly. They worked quickly. They replaced the water heater in a crawl space like nothing. Then they changed the sink which the pedestal did not fit but they made it work. I have finally found plumbers. Thanks guys.

They were extremely fast and they did a really good job! We have a complicated insurance policy and they manage to navigate that and they were very good on providing all the forms we needed and everything. I think their price is a little bit expensive but I think everything was fine.

I have called them at least 3 times and left messages and finally got a call back from a secretary. I was told by her that I would get a call back soon, and 3 days later I still have not received a call.

They came out and fixed my plumbing issues and did a good job at it. They were professional and reasonable. They gave me a 90 day warranty and had competitive prices. They also found some other plumbing issues that were related to the problem that they fixed and I will probably use them to fix that in the future. I was very pleased with their service.

Jason arrived on time after calling to advise when he would arrive, Inspected the situation, explained the problem and the solution. He quickly resolved the problem He worked very neatly and quickly. I recommend Aand N and will be using them in the future.

I was very disappointed with their work, we just moved in and they were supposed to prepare everything for my new appliances which were coming 2 days later : a gas dryer and fridge. We chose them because they looked very professional and looked carefully where they could install the exhaust pipe for the dryer. Anthony said they would arrive early as it would take them most of the day. Turned out they installed the line (great job) but didn't do the air exhaust saying it was not in the estimate . They were done before noon (4hrs work). As for the water line they didn't even put a water feeder so when my appliances arrived the dryer and the fridge could not be properly installed. I was really really not pleased.

When I need a plumber again (and I will soon), I'll call to check if they have a Yonkers license additionally. Who knows, he might have decided to get it. (my complex has 700 apartments?)

They were professional and reliable. Available to come the next morning and install the new toilet I had purchased. Before installation we discovered the toilet was the incorrect height, so they left and came back after I returned and re-purchased the correct size. They were back to my house within 2 hours of me calling back and came and the installation went smooth and within the hour.

I called Aand N plumbing and made an appointment for them to come by and give an estimate. They showed up exactly as promised and gave a very reasonable estimate. They were very professional and the quality of their work was first rate. I couldn't be more pleased! I will definitely call them again when needed. I highly recommend them!!!!!

I called Anthony at 9pm and he was kind enough to take my call. He was informative, game me a sense of trust. On the next day he called me at 9:30 am to make an appointment and the plumber arrived to my place on the same morning. He fixed the problem well and was professional and respectful. The charge was fair. I recommend this plumbing company.

A and N Plumbing are very good. They're extremely professional. They came on time. They fixed the job within two hours. First they came to see what was wrong with it. They had to order the part and come back another day. They came back within a week to put the new pump in. It was quick and very professional.

We hired A and N to install 2 toilets in our home. They showed up on time and was very professional. They did a great job and cleaned up after their work and kept the area clean. I would use them again.

Anthony was fantastic - professional, courteous, on time, and he explained everything he needed to do and how much it would cost. There was one part that wasn't on the truck that he needed to retrieve, and he was quick to return (didn't keep me waiting). He finished quickly and did a superb job. It has been over a year, and I have had no issues with the pipes. Since I didn't shop around, I'm not sure if the cost was consistent with others in the city. All things considered, I would rather pay a little more for good service and a job well done. It is so hard to know who to trust with your apartment in NYC! I would definitely use them again.

They treated our small job like a big job. They showed up when promised. There were no games or surprises with the price. The work was done professionally and some unforeseen problems were handled without fuss. One of those unforeseen problems needed a follow up visit. Once again, on time and professional.
