My experience was excellent. The quality of the work was very good. They were pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable. He handled our complicated situation professional.

Aand N is very responsive. There are 2 friendly guys coming and they checked the bathroom carefully and told me that the sound probably is from the wood, it is OK, no leaking. They also fixed a garden pipe joint issue, the quality of this small work is very good. I am happy.

I called Aand N @ 7:30 this morning and got a call back from Nick within 1/2 hour. I was told they would be here before noon but they would call first. I got a call back at 8:30 from Anthony and they said they would be here within 1/2 hour. They arrived @ 9:00 and the repair was completed within 45 minutes. They were great!

Aand N did an absolutely outstanding job. They responded right away for a request for a bid, came the very next day, and got back to us with their quote within no more than a day or so. Throughout the project they arrived on time 100% of the time, worked very neatly, and most importantly, did a spectacular job. Not only did they do their part impeccably, but, also, Anthony took on what was essentially a supervisory role regarding our contractor in terms of work the contractor was doing that was tangentially associated with the plumbing. As things turned out, his input was much needed, and made a big difference in the success of the project. Aand N is the best plumbing company we've ever worked with, by far.

Our Kitchen Sink water faucet was leaking. Called Aand N, very professional, came on my schedule. They suggested fixing the faucet rather than replacing the whole set (faucet, water spray, soap container, and hot/cold knob). Total cost was about $225. Worked great then several days later, water faucet broke again. Called Aand N, they came on my schedule. Fixed the water faucet so it could at least work while I ordered all the parts - they did not charge me for the visit - impressive. Took me a month to get the parts that I needed, Aand N returned, again on my schedule, and replaced all the parts. Cost of this visit about $250. They were very professional all the way and would use them without hesitation.

Great job. They arrived on time, and everything was done proffesionally and in a timely manner.

There was this incredible sewer smell in our basement. It was horrible. I called A and N he asked me a couple of questions. I took my phone into the basement and he walked me through the possibilities of what could be happening. He stayed on the phone with me as I described what I saw. It wound up being our basement toilet that had no water in the bowl and the sewer gases were coming up. The smell is gone and I did not pay a penny. It was pretty simple and they could have come and charged an arm and a leg but they didn't. I would use them again in a heart beat.

After a terrible experience with another plumber, it was a pleasure and a relief to find A and N. They're honest, efficient, and competent, and after two appointments with them, I plan to use them for all future plumbing needs. When I called them up to get an estimate, I spoke with Nick, one of the owners. He seemed knowledgeable and was flexible with scheduling the appointment. On the day of the appointment, two his associates, John and Jason, showed up on-time (they were actually a bit early) and immediately had me show them the work that I needed done. They priced each component of the work separately and the overall price was reasonable. They said that they would need to come back for a second visit to fix the downstairs shower faucet because it required them to purchase replacement hardware (shower kit). I agreed to the rest of the work and they got started immediately. Within an hour, they had cleared the drain pipe on the kitchen sink, installed a new drain guard on it, and snaked the bathtub. I was particularly happy with the improved bathtub draining because I had tried to snake it myself several times and got nowhere with it. While they were working, they gave me some helpful tips and tricks about how to maintain the plumbing in the future. John attempted to snake the bathroom sink but was unable to penetrate whatever was blocking the pipe; he identified the position of the blockage and recommended that I call in a and quot;drain guyand quot; (specialist) to resolve the blocked bathroom sink. Without asking, A and N did not charge me for this effort because they were not successful, which I appreciated. When they returned on the second visit with the hardware to fix the leaky shower faucets, they were similarly efficient and took only twenty minutes to perform the operation. They also charged me $20 less than quoted because they said that they were able to obtain the replacement shower kit at a lower cost. I highly recommend these guys.

It was a complicated job that took time, but it was done well and pleasantly. John even carted the old toilet away then asked if he could take my garbage out.And this was from a four-story walk-up! Very generous. A few weeks later, for another job, John checked the toilet to make sure it was doing well. I highly recommend these people!

John and Jason arrived promptly and quickly completed the work.

We had a leaky toilet. They came once and then came again with the part. After they installed the part and left the toilet was completely broken. They did send someone back and they put yet another part in (which they admitted was not the perfect size and quot;but it would workand quot;) and now the toilet still is leaky and works worse than before we began. No invoices for any work and checks payable to cash. All in all very unhappy and will move on as a lesson learned.

Two plumbers showed up on time, assessed the situation quickly, and gave me two quotes. The lower was for if they worked on the sink but could not fix it, which means they would not have charged me for their time and labor unless the issue was taken care of. Polite, peofessional and got the job done quickly. Not cheap but price range expected for NYC. Would definitely hire again.

My regular plumber on vacation. Checked Angie's List and after reading Aand N reviews, called them. They immediately came over, quoted me a price before starting the job. They were efficient,no problems. Will definitely use them again.

Volume control in shower did not work at all. Spindle inside needed to be replaced. I ordered the part. Aand N scheduled the appointment when I could make it. Two men arrived promptly at 9 am. Despite restrictions from my building about insurance certificates (which I didn't have), they sneaked in some tools, replaced the pin after digging out a ton of silicone, and made sure it worked. They showed me what they were doing and explained everything. They were also funny and engaging. No mess. They were concerned about leaving dirt on the bathroom floor. Very professional all the way.

I reached out to A and N Plumbing to replace a pipe that was leaking in my boiler room. The workers showed up late and when discussing the job with Nick, he was rude and condescending. He also lied about have a part in his truck because he was upset that I considered going with another plumber. So if you want someone to arrive late, be rude and lie to you....choose A and N Plumbing.

He was very good. Two guys came to inspect and they did a good job. The supervisor came to make sure they were on task.

I called Anthony and he came out that day to look at the work that needed to be done. The shower was leaking but we were unable to identify the shower trim together as it was discontinued. He offered to remove the valve and drive it into the city to his distributor who could ID the part but to his credit he recommended that I source the part through different manufacturers (much less expensive!). I found the part and ordered it. In the mean time he completed the other work that ineeded to be done and when the part arrived he came and installed it the next morning. Great work, great price and great vibe.

The entire experience went well, from start to finish. I called on a Wednesday, they came at the time indicated (early, in fact) on Thursday, sized up the old water heater, gave me a quote for the replacement, picked up the new unit, and immediately went to work swapping out the old water heater for the new. The whole process was about 2 hours. They did a great job, were friendly and courteous, and the price was about what I expected. This is my second time using Aand N, and I would highly recommend them.

Arrived 15 minutes early (!!). Identified the issue right away and pointed me to the right repair part. From that point it was straightforward enough to correct on my own. Friendly and courteous. Would definitely call again.

My faucet started to make strange noises and to constantly drip several months ago. I thought initially that I would be able to replace the faucet myself, but when I looked under my sink, the drain pipe from my sink was preventing the shut off valve from being turned. A and N Plumbing replaced my faucet (I went to home depot to buy it) and moved my shut off valves so that they can actually be used. The guys from A and N were great. They were punctual, polite, and did a wonderful job. They were even very patient with my Super, who can be quite a pain.

I had a very good experience with A and N Plumbing. I spoke with Anthony over the phone who was willing to give me a general estimate of the work I had to do. I appreciated this since some other companies charged a fee to come out and give an estimate which would not even be applied to the job. The plumber, John, arrived promptly and did an excellent job. Cleaned up after also. I should note that it was very difficult to remove the old (20 year) faucet which seemed to have rusted in place. John didn't give up and must have spent more time than expected, yet did not charge extra. I would recommend them highly.

Answered the phone the first time I called. Came the same day I called. Ordered the faucet before leaving. Installed it the next day. The men were polite and professional. Could not ask for more.

Wonderful. With plumbing especially, you can be at the mercy of the plumber, but they were honest and explained/showed me the problem and how it was to be fixed. Quick callback, reliable, on-time, neat, friendly and professional. A+

I've never had this kind of problem with a company before, and I've never been treated so poorly. I've been with Angie's List for 3 years and have used a number of companies. Think twice before getting involved with these people.

They made some excellent recommendations and the man they sent out was extremely courteous and respectful and didn't charge us because they did not do the actual work. Instead they recommended another company which turned out wonderful!
