Jason is the ideal professional.  He and Alex are efficient, highly skilled, courteous, friendly, helpful and extremely reasonable. His vast experience helped guide me through the preparation of my apartment for sale with shrewd advice.

They worked to our tight schedule, and changes, with the highest quality job ethic.  Jason is quite personable. He went out of his way to expertly prepare the walls before painting them, help us select the right colors, & paint schemes; spending the extra time in finishing with superior results. Jason and Alex were excellent. They were punctual, courteous and their work was top notch. Jason helped me pick out colors and brought many sample paints for me to to choose from. Jason is by far the best house painter we have ever used and we would definitely call on him again. Highly recommend.

Jason and his crew are the BEST!  I cannot say enough good things.  They were in our home for 6 days, arrived promptly, left the house clean every day, and did a great job!  Jason is a pro at color choices.  I thought I knew what I wanted and when he made some suggestions, they were spot on.  The colors are beautiful.  He provided all the samples I could have wanted and tested them on the walls so I could see how they looked in different types of light.  I have never received such care and consideration  from a painter. He even gave me tips on window covering choices.
Everything went smoothly from the very beginning.  I called and received a call back promptly.  I received an

estimate the day after he came to our home and we set the date to start.

Jason contacted me and from the get go, he was easy to communicate with and professional. He was punctual, tidy and a pleasure to have in our house. We miss him being here. They worked around our schedule, were flexible and super helpful. They went above and beyond the call of duty on many occasions and were just great to have around when making other house decisions since we are first time home owners and had a lot challenges. He's honest and trustworthy too. We couldn't be happier with the work they did. Jason is also great at picking colors and knows what he's doing. Everything looks fabulous. I will recommend him to anyone who will listen.

From the moment I texted Jason he was nothing short of professional and accommodating. After speaking to him several times about what package on Angie's list would be appropriate he advised the 21 hours of painting package. We had originally scheduled to have the apartment painted on Saturday 8-29 but due to a sudden death in my extended family we had to reschedule. He was very understanding and accommodating to my circumstance. He and Alex began painting the apartment on Monday, 8-31 and finished today 9-1. The job was beyond my expectations! They were very detailed and the end result was superb! I've already told Jason I would be keeping his number for future works and for references to my friends and family! Thank you, Jason and Alex, for all the hard work you guys put into the apartment!

A+ work! Jason and Alex were a pleasure to have paint the house, and practically became part of the family. They did an amazing job painting the entire house. But not only is their worksmanship outstanding, Jason helped me choose the colors for all the walls. We searched through myriad paint color books to figure out which colors worked in each room based off the countertops/carpeting/planned decor etc. Jason would makes trips to the local paint store to buy samples of color contenders and puts the options on the wall (sometimes 3-4 for each room). Then I chose my colors. If you're moving into a house but don't have an interior designer/decorator to help you with paint colors, I would highly recommend Freshstart.   I will definitely use them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

Jason and Alex showed up on time at 8 each morning and did a magnificent job. I'm calling them again for sure!
Also helped choose colors when I needed help. Moved all furniture and put everything back, as well as cleaned up daily. What a pleasure!

Jason came to give us an estimate about 3 weeks before beginning. His inspection and advice what do thorough I was confident there would be no surprise extra fees. Once we accepted the estimate we were scheduled in his book. The well before the job began he and Alex (staff) came by to drop off the color swatches and review the task for next week's job. Now I was even more confident we choose the right company for the job!















During this same visit he gave me his suggestions for color (of which we did 80% of his advice).















The following Monday morning they were back and ready to work. If there were any delays it was me and my two kids but it was never mentioned. We had a case of "a very wrong color chosen" and jason switched it with the color he originally suggested--the 20% we didn't follow of his suggestion. Jason is very professional yet personable with a passion for his business and aims to please his clients. we intend on using his service again when his schedule lightens for our bathroom. He is highly recommended and if a higher rating of A plus were available we would rate his services of the scale.

Jason arrived promptly to paint. While painting the rooms, he checked in when he noticed problems with the molding.  He also checked in with regards to how we wanted to paint the molding. Did we want it to be white or the color that we picked out for the rooms?  His check-ins reflected his great communication.   He caulked and plastered and painted brilliantly.  He spent an entire day and told us what time he would be done and he was done by that time. We would definitely use Jason again.  I would recommend Jason and will definitely use him again for our next paint job.

I phoned Fresh Start Painting about a paint job for my 3 1/2 room apartment a few weeks ago. Jason arrived the next day and explained exactly what needed to be done. The painters I had hired about 6 years ago did a poor job. The work was shoddy and sloppy. The paint soon peeled on most of my windowsills and in time in several locations in my apartment. There were many cracks in the walls and ceilings too.
Jason explained what they did wrong and how he would fix things the right way. He was very professional and I was impressed.
Jason and Alex worked on the apartment for several days and Jason also helped me with suggestions for the colors of the rooms and trim. They were very careful and precise with their work and arrived promptly each morning.
There were a couple of minor issues and one question I had after they finished. Jason and Alex appeared promptly at 9am the next morning and took care of everything very quickly.
The apartment looks beautiful!!  I couldn't be more pleased and would not hesitate to hire them again. I highly recommend Fresh Start Painting.

Jason had great communication from the start. Very accessible and helpful from everything from color selection to design suggestions. The price was reasonable and the process was fast, but completely thorough and beautifully done.

Initially, the owner, Jason, came out to take a look at the work that needed to be done. Later on that day, we received an estimate via email. After receiving a couple of other estimates, we chose Jason and Fresh Start. A date was scheduled, and Jason came out a second time the day before to confirm the work needed to be done. On the scheduled day, Jason arrived on time with one other worker, the immediately began to cover the floors leading to the rooms. They moved our furniture and picture frames and paintings for us. They even brought their own vacuum cleaner to clean up after. Jason and Alex did an amazing job. We were told it would take no more than two days and they completed all the work on time, and it looks great. 

My first contact with Jason was when he came to assess the house and bring his bag of colors. He was prompt, respectful and very helpful in showing what type of work needed to be done. Once the decisions were made he was available a few days later. The crew ALWAYS were on time. They did exceptional work and left my house in order. I am so satisfied with the work they did.. I have more work to be done so I absolutely plan to have him come back again!

Fabulous.  Business owner is on the job and has his own crew, which have been with him for a while.  They are puntual, neat, and do a a great job.  This was the best experience we have had with painters.  We highly recommend Fresh Start Interior Painting.

We are fortunate to live in a beautiful home in a unique community. Unfortunately a great deal of damage has occurred interiorly from our son's wheelchair. Many of the walls required preparation prior to painting. Jason is an artist. My wife and I could not be happier with the results. Perhaps even more importantly, the whole job was done in a virtually stress free manor. Jason always kept his word. He showed up on time and kept the work area very clean and neat. He even helped us to pick out colors that look fantastic. His wealth of experience was obvious. We were thrilled with the experience and absolutely will use Jason again. Considering what a 'mensch' Jason is, the cost was more than fair.

I called the number listed and left Jason a voice-mail.  He called me back very quickly and we discussed my situation.  I was in a bind.  I was moving to a new place and my painter just disappeared.  My wife and I were moving into a new apartment and with her being pregnant we didn't have time to wait for my painter to return.  Jason was very patient and I must have called him back like 15 times to confirm what I needed done.  He was super helpful and offered great advice.  He was also able to schedule me in with super short notice.  It was Monday and he showed up on Friday to paint for a Saturday move in.
They showed up exactly on time and began working almost immediately.  His workers are very efficient and do amazing work.  No mess what so ever.  My wife was amazed by the work.  Perfect lines, no streaks and it looked amazing.
I highly recommend Fresh Start to anyone who needs work done.  I have already recommended them to some folks in the neighborhood.

Jason had such patience with my insane schedule. He kept in constant communication with me about everything. His suggestions for certain area of my home was perfect. He made the room that I had attempted to paint go from a nightmare to a room of slumber! His professionalism and his finish product is outstanding. I am beyond happy with how my apartment came out. We had our whole house painted this past summer by Jason and his crew. He was always very punctual, reliable, and flexible. He was always available if we had any questions or wanted to consult with him about various colors we wanted to apply. Jason is easy to work with and completed his work in a timely fashion. He totally transformed our house into a beautiful living space. He had the challenge of tackling the ugly faux textured venetian plaster that was covering the living room, dining room, kitchen and hallway. He brought in an expert crew who did the plastering before he applied paint on it. He supervised the work himself to ensure the highest quality of work. Those walls now are now nice and smooth with a neutral cream color. We are very happy with how our house looks and would highly recommend Jason for any interior painting job!

Jason did a great job and I am extremely satisfied. This was a very difficult job as my walls and ceilings were in bad shape. The end results were superb and the price was reasonable. Jason is very personable and was very accommodating. Every day before he left he made sure to uncover and move the bedroom and dining room furniture so I had a place to sleep and eat. On the weekend he included the living room. (I told him not to bother with moving the living room during the week.) Jason made an incredibly inconvenient few days, bearable. Jason even came back after the job was complete to touch up a few items that he wasn't happy with the way they looked. (To me they looked fine.) I highly recommend Fresh Start and would definitely give Jason a call next time I need painting.
