VETERINARY EMERGENCY GROUP

Brought in our newly adopted dog when she began rapidly breathing for long periods of time while she was resting and seemed to be acting strange. Being worried new owners, we decided it best to have her be seen.
We were seen quickly at around 10:45pm, and the staff was very good with our dog - as she was abused and is petrified of humans. The assessment was relatively short, but she was given a clean bill of health. We were told what to look for in the future to determine if she's in distress. Also, the price for being seen on an and quot;emergencyand quot; basis was not as bad as I was expecting which was also a good thing.
I would use them again (but hopefully won't have to)!

Our 17 Year Old cat suffered some sort of injury while we were at work that impacted his back leg. We felt he needed an immediate reaction. We had seen this facility as it is not that far from our home. We called our Vet (after hours) and the recording referred us to this facility for emergency care. We took our cat there. They quickly performed the and quot;check-inand quot;. There was no one else there so we were seen quickly by Dr. Pugh, one of the group of Doctors that participates (according to their website). Both the precheck by the first attendant and the actual examination by Dr. Pugh were great and put our minds at ease that our cat was being taken care of. Given our cat was over 17 years old, has diabities and a seveare thyroid condition, the necessary frank discussions were handled very well. Our cat is doing better now, confirmed by a follow up visit with his regular vet, but we valued the attention given by this group. We have had two follow up phone calls from them asking how our cat is doing since the visit. It is very wonderful to know this type of facility is available after hours and that they are as good as they are. We cannot recommend them enough and would not hesitate returning though we really hope this will not be necessary.

We have used their services a couple of times. They helped us out there. They are very good and thorough. It is a good place.
