I have clients that have used them before and they're very happy. They also have good ratings on Angie's List, so my clients have a place to refer back and I also print that out too for them if they need to see it.

We hired Trueview Home Inspections for the house inspection.   Justin and Matt are professional and friendly.   They did a great job, they are very detail and explain things very clearly.  They are also able to pin point the major concerns that we should be aware of.  We can't be happier for their services.They also truned around their report in a day.  The report is impressive with details and pictures.  It is easy to read and it definitely highlight the areas we should focus on and we are able to use the pints dicuss with the seller.  If you need someone to do a home inspection, I would definitely recommend Trueview.

We are in the process of buying a new house and True View did our inspection today. They were punctual (even early) courteous and extremely professional. they conducted an extremely thorough inspection of the house and property. while performing the inspection they checked in with me several times to explain their process, and when an issue was discovered they made the issue very clear,and were able to offer some extremely helpful advice to remedy the situation. i honestly believe that they inspected every inch of the house. i was blown away by how detailed they were. with the help of True View, we now have a crystal clear picture of the condition of the house. i would HIGHLY recommend hiring True View for your home inspection.

Justin was a great choice for our home inspection. He arrived early, was very professional, and performed a thorough inspection. He clearly explained any issues that he discovered, and documented them with photos for inclusion in his final report. I walked away not only have a better understanding of the strengths and flaws of this particular house, but with older home construction in general.I'm giving a B for price only because I'm sure you can find a cheaper inspection elsewhere... but True View was definitely worth the money.

I found a house that I was interested in purchasing and I hired Jason after interviewing approximately 4 home inspection companies. Justin was by far the most helpful and patient of all of my phone interviews. Other companies made me feel as though I was bothering them or taking up their time by asking a few questions. Justin answered all of my questions and even provided additional information that I should consider. Justin arrived on time and went right to work. He inspected the roof by actually using a ladder to go up there in the rain might I add. Some inspectors no longer do this I found. He inspected the entire interior and exterior of the house. Justin walked me through the house twice, he pointed out areas of concern and explained why they may be an issue now or later on. He gave suggestions for maintenance as well as updates that could  conserve energy in an older house. The last step - he left the Radon test gadget and returned I believe 48 hours later to retrieve it. I was given a written inspection report along with the radon test report results that was easy to read and understand as well as a home maintenance manual with a list of items within the house that I should do monthly or annual test/inspections to ensure everything continues to work well. Justin even followed up a few weeks later to see how everything was going. All in all Justin is professional, attentive and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of a home inspection or radon testing!

I was very pleased with the inspection.  In my history, I had purchased 5 single family homes and had them all inspected.  This inspection was very thorough and enlightening.  None of the others inspectors I encountered explained the process as they were doing the inspection like Justin did.  None of the others ever gave me any more than a single check marked page of the inspection. One of my main concerns was the air conditioning/heating systems in each room.  He showed me how they worked, how to inspect the condenser drains, and replace the filters.  He also provided me with a 20 page document of the entire inspection.  It not only contained descriptions of each item he identified as marginal or needs replacement, but had photos of each area.  The written report is a handy document to use for any repairs or updates that are needed.  It will be a useful tool in the future maintenance of my apartment. 

What was really surprising was that I reviewed many inspectors on Angie's List and chose Justin's company.  I hadn't really looked at the addresses until I made the call to him.  It was then that I noticed that he lived in the same building that I was having the inspection done.

Justin and his brother were very thorough and professional.  They were on-time, described (in a way we understood) what they were doing and the operation of the physical plant of the home.  It is a large property and it took quite a bit of time but they weren't in a hurry and charged a reasonable amount in my mind.  I highly recommend Justin.

I called True View Home Inspections on a Monday afternoon, looking for an estimate to do an inspection on a 3-bed 2 bath co-op apartment, which we are signing contracts on shortly.  Justin immediately answered and was extremely helpful in giving an estimate for the home inspection and going over everything that he would look at and cover in the inspection.  I decided to go out on a limb, since I could only find the one other review on here, and I have to say I was VERY pleasantly surprised.  He was almost immediately available and was able to do the inspection that Wednesday morning.

When I met Justin at the apartment, he was actually EARLY and was waiting for me to arrive to start.  He was very courteous, friendly,  and professional upon first introduction.  You may be surprised by how young he is, but don't let that fool you - he REALLY knows what he's doing!  He is fully licensed, has plenty of experience, and he owns the company.

Armed with a tablet (iPad) device, a digital camera, and a variety of other tools, he set to work immediately and didn't waste any time.  He was extremely thorough for just looking at a simple co-op apartment, and I really appreciated that he led me through the whole inspection and called me over to point out everything that he came across as an issue.  He also gave some very helpful suggestions on what to keep an eye on for future problems, and small things we could do to improve the systems in the apartment when we moved in.  He continuously recorded all of his observations on his tablet as he went through the inspection so that he wouldn't forget anything later, and documented everything with photos.

Justin prepared a very thorough and professional report for us, which was clear and concise, and organized in a well-thought-out manner as to what needed immediate repairs, what may need repairs in the future, and his suggestions for future work.  He sent the report to us via e-mail by 5:30 pm that very same day.  I know some inspectors will give you a report on site, but he told us that he likes to sit down and really go over everything while he prepares the report, as opposed to rushing through it on site.  I certainly didn't mind waiting a few extra hours for a report that covered everything as well as it did.

On a side note, I am a female structural engineer, and sometimes I have difficulties dealing with men in the construction/home repair industry who assume that, because I'm a woman, I don't know anything about buildings or building systems (so not true!)  I really respected that Justin immediately treated me as an equal and wasn't condescending in any way (and I never even mentioned that I was an engineer!)  Women should have no qualms about hiring him!

In short, I wouldn't hesitate to hire Justin from True View Home Inspections again.  My real estate broker, who was also at the inspection, was impressed as well, and I hope she's able to pass along some business to him (she took a bunch of his cards to have handy at her brokerage).

Justin is an absolute professional. He explained the entire process and was very willing to answer every question in detail. There wasn't a question he couldnt answer. I would recommend True View without hesitation, it was worth every penny.
